Bookings sent us a code that was wrong. We were lucky we had contact details for owner so we were able to gain access quickly from the fast response.

Reviewed Apr 25, 2025Home was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with pots and pans, etc. living room a comfortable place to relax. Not far from Turangi so convenient to the lower lake Taupo.
Everything was great except we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the heat. You may want to include that in your instructions.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2025Spacious and very comfortable house in a very quiet neighbourhood. Very clean. Kitchen had a great variety of appliances, tools etc. Beds were really comfortable. We had a great time there and would stay again anytime!

The TV didn’t work and there were no instructions for it. No iron or ironing board. No clothes line or dryer. The lamp in the main bedroom didn’t work and no replacement bulb could be found.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2024Beautifully clean, well appointed, and fit our large family for an awesome price - loved our wee trip to Little Whio. Hosts were lovely and quick to reply to messages. Good info on check in/out. Awesome base for a holiday at the lake! Kids loved the trampoline and board games, and the huge lawn out the front made for an awesome sports pitch! Lovely neighbourhood, really quiet :)

Bedrooms had wardrobe storage with drawers that allowed us to keep luggage out of the way. 10 mins drive to Turangi which has a supermarket and restaurants. Host had information of recommended walks in the surrounding area that was a lovely touch.

Forgot two special umbrellas at the house in the last trip. been trying to contact the owner, the owner mentioned to us they will check with the cleaner. But no answer at all.

Nothing to not like about the home. But the booking.com ap would not down load the information sheet from the owner so we couldn't get any instructions from the owner. Hopefully we left the property in a satisfactory condition.
