We loved our stay at Fjordperlen and grateful we were able to stay there for a week. We were a family with a young baby and the cottage had everything we needed and beyond. Irene and Frede provided us with a baby high chair (same as the one we have ourselves at home), and they had the same blender that I use at home as well, so it was perfect for preparing baby food. It may have been the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in during holidays. Irene and Frede really put in a lot of effort and I would say it was beyond perfection. They had even prepared a little guide book on what to do in the local area and suitable hikes etc.

There was nothing we didn´t like.

Die Lage am Fjord 1A. Sehr schöne, geschmacklich super eingerichtete FEWO. Die FEWO befindet sich in einen alten Bootshaus. Es fehlte nichts, bei der Ausstattung (auch Kleinteile und Küchenausstattung) wurde an alles gedacht. Ein Boot mit Außenborder stand zur Verfügung. Evtl. Angelsachen können im Bootsraum unter der FEWO untergebracht werden. Parkplatz für PKW direkt am Fjordufer. Auspacken war daher kein Problem. Wohnzimmer mit Blick auf den Fjord, fast hautnah! Sehr großes Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC im Erdgeschoss der Wohnung, Schlafzimmer mit Blick auf den Fjord im Obergeschoss. Sehr gute Matratzen im Doppelbett. Am Ufer vor dem Steg eine nett gestaltete Sitzmöglichkeit mit Sonnenschutz. Hier können Sie den Sonnenuntergang abends gemütlich bei einem Glas Wein genießen. Die Vermieter Irene & Frede sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier den Urlaub zu verbringen, können wir zu 100% empfehlen!

The cabin and the location are stunning. The cabin is warm and plenty of heating options for cold weather. The hosts are kind and considerate, showing us all the bits in the property that would enhance our stay. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, and relaxed location. Private access to the fjord and a terrace on the waters edge with plenty of outside furniture to enjoy outside in warmer weather. I cannot rate this place enough. An absolute gem.

Nagyon szép helyen van. Nyugalom, csend, de mégis egy kis sétára a várostól. Elképesztően tiszta és felszerelt. A tulajdonosok kedvesek, segítőkészek.

Perfekte Lage direkt am Fjord. Wunderschönes Häuschen mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wirklich komplett ausgestattete Ferienwohnung, die man sofort in sein Herz schließt und am liebsten nicht mehr gehen möchte. Gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen oder Bootstouren. Extrem freundliche Vermieter

Absolut nichts!

The house of Frede and Irene is simply magical! The view is absolutely breathtaking. Staying there felt like a truly enchanted escape, immersed in nature and the incredible beauty of the fjord. Irene is a magical host, lovely, welcoming. She made our stay even more special. We are hoping to come back soon!

This little house was a real beauty. Located right at the fjord with its own little pier, absolutely amazing. Also the view from the main bedroom was just beautiful. The hosts were also nice. There is a public sauna just a few minutes away from the place.

The parking situation is ok, but not optimal. Be aware that you park by the street and have to carry luggage a little way up and down the hill.

The place is just magical, the location, the charm of it and hosts are just amazing. I cannot recommend it enough. They thought of every little detail to make our stay pleasant and relaxing.

The location is amazing – peaceful with stunning fjord views right from the window. The cabin has everything you might need for a comfortable stay, including a cozy fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen with oil and spices. Very clean, warm and homely atmosphere. The hosts were welcoming and helpful – we truly enjoyed our stay.

Emplacement magnifique. La maison est très propre et très bien équipée. Vraiment le logement vaut largement le prix ne serait-ce que pour la vue.

Absolute waterfront location (water lapping up to the boatshed door immediately below) with picture-perfect views. Friendly hosts did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Well-equipped modern kitchen. We can understand why this property is in high demand. Good bathroom (and it had bench space), albeit located on the main floor (below the bedrooms).

Heilt fantastisk, det var rent, gode senger, bra utstyrt- der manglet ingenting. Kjempe flott utsikt, og heilt fantastisk vertskap ☺️ Vi kommer igjen!

Von der Fjordperle kann man nur begeistert sein. Mitten in der Natur direkt am Fjord gelegen. Mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Da haben Irene und Frede ein Händchen für Gastfreundschaft bewiesen.

Przepiękne miejsce (Eidfjord) i wyjątkowa lokalizacja obiektu. Gospodarze bardzo sympatyczni, pomocni i uprzejmi. Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie. Napewno tam wrócę nieraz i polecam każdemu to miejsce i tych ludzi.

Nawet gdybym chciał to nie miałbym się do czego przyczepić🙂.

Wunderbare Lage, Traumhafte Hütte! Irene und Frede pflegen und vermieten ihre Fjordperle mit ganzer Leidenschaft und bieten ihren Gästen alle Annehmlichkeiten (Boot, Kanu, Grillplatz, Terrasse, selbstgemachten Cider) für einen perfekten Aufenthalt. Wir hatten schon unzählige Unterkünfte in und an den Fjorden Norwegens. Diese gehört ohne Frage zu den Besten die man finden kann.

Highlights 1) the hosts were warm and thoughtful 2) the view and setting were nothing short of spectacular 3) the house had everything you could possibly want to prepare a meal including oil and spices 4) the unit was absolutely spotless. Oh, did I mention the hosts were wonderful.

The property was perfect. The views are outstanding, the property was extremely comfortable and homely. The hosts (Irene & Frede) were so hospitable and lovely. They gave us amazing tips and looked after us. Couldn't recommend this place any more. We will be coming back and will suggest it to everyone we know looking to visit that area of Norway.

This house and hosts Irene and Frede deserve and absolute 10! House is located in a beautiful fjord, it's super clean and has everything you need. Irene and Frede were super nice to us and helped us with everything we needed and more - they showed actual care when my wife got sick during our stay. This is how tourism should be done!

Great Location

The views were exceptional. The lodge was even better than it seemed from the pictures. Fire is gorgeous and lots of heating options. Very cosy. Great location. Irene and Frede were the loviest hosts we’ve ever come across. Their kindness made the holiday incredibly special for our 4 year old. Thank you!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We came back in Eidfjord just to stay in this amazing place. A cozy, warm, picturesque home next to the Fjords, run by the friendliest couple. They always hear their customers/ that they treat as friends and improve their facilities. They always welcome us with big smiles, suggestions, lots of quality toys, flowers and chocolates. Always a pleasure staying here. Amazing experience

Everything, the hosts were very sweet, the view was subliminal, all facilities were prepped for us and we were even allowed to use their washing machine and clothes line

That there weren't any whales to be spotted while we were there

The hosts are superb, really friendly and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. The house is excellent with everything you need. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have slept in! The location on the waters edge is exceptional and only a short walk from the small town.

Very comfortable accommodation with amazing views of the fjord. Well equipped house with everything you need for a holiday. Irene and Frede are very nice people. Fjordpelen is a place you will not want to leave.

The location is idyllic. We stayed in February as we wanted a quiet, calm and relaxing break and we got exactly that. The property is right on the fjord, you cannot get any closer! We enjoyed watching an otter that lives under the little pier catching fish each day. The property is immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, warm and cosy. The hosts were amazing. They struck a perfect balance of giving us a warm welcome and telling us everything we needed to know about the property to fully enjoy it then leaving us to just relax and unwind.

Everything!!! Let's start with the location. The cabin is on the water's edge and surrounded by huge and amazing mountains. Every morning we open with a breathtaking view. The owners, Fred and Irene (hope I spelled it right), kindly explained and helped (thanks for the pancakes). The place is also a kind of junction for many places and sites in the vicinity. Mountains with snow (we were in March) or lakes and fjords full of water. It was one of the most beautiful vacations I've ever had. Thanks :)
