Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Overraskende rent og ryddig. Komfortable senger, fungerende TV, liten og praktisk kjøkken, og fint bad. Det var parkeringsplass også.
Enkelte utstyr/ting så gammelt ut, samme med fargen på utsiden av bygget. Men det er bare småtteri.

A distance du centre ville (pas de problème pour nous qui avions une voiture) Bruit de la circulation (plus calme entre 22h et 6h, pas de problème avec des bouchons d'oreille)

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Nice guesthouse lodging. The lovely owners live above several efficiency apartments. It was very clean with a compact kitchen. Our hosts included some coffee and basic ingredients for cooking. Good stop for hikers.
It is very close to the road so in the summer with open windows traffic noise is a problem (no AC). The beds are very narrow.

Reviewed May 27, 2026Kvamsdal Pensjonat 1 ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist blitzsauber, alles funktioniert gut, es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das Zimmer hat eine kleine Küche mit Wasserkocher, löslichem Kaffee, Tee. Genug Geschirr. Es ist sehr gemütlich. Der Eigentümer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke für den netten Aufenthalt! 😊

The apartment is one of more, located in a house on the road and close to the river, in the middle of nature. The house has everything needed and was comfortable. We would come back soon :)

It's not a minus but just think good to know. Kitchen equiped with stove and there is all kitchenware but there are no microwave. When was in local store I affraid that room will not have stove and purchase food for preparation in microwave and was surprised there are no microwave :D

Reviewed Jun 26, 2024I had a very nice stay at Kvamsdal Pensjonat 1. The owners were very kind and the property is nicely located near Eidfjord and the Vøringsfossen waterfalls. The room was clean and has everything you need to cook a meal, relax and sleep.
The main road next to the room is a bit busy during the day, which was not a problem for me but might be for others. There was very little traffic during evening/night.
