I loved everything it was so very homey thank you for making my stay amazing I can’t wait to visit yall again!
Everything!
Clean & comfortable
Nothing
The property is beautiful and exactly like the pictures. Beds were comfortable, one of the beds was big enough for two of us so we didn’t have to use the sofa bed. The neighbor was nice and quiet and door dash found us super easy. Only wish was that we could have stayed longer. WILL ABSOLUTELY BOOK AGAIN!
Small thing was that the ice machine wasn’t working on the fridge but that was nothing crazy. Everything we needed was perfect
The house is in an ideal location if you're visiting Valdosta for any reason. One of my favorite rooms was the kitchen - it has a cozy little bench where someone can sit and chat while someone else cooks. It’s stocked with a good amount of kitchen basics (pots, pans, cups, plates), so you’re covered if you forget anything. Overall, just a really comfortable and inviting space. The bedrooms are surprisingly spacious (in my opinion), and each one has its own TV, which is always a bonus. Best part? The beds are actually comfortable - soft comforters and pillows that make it easy to relax. The dining room was another highlight. There’s plenty of seating for a big group, plus extra chairs along the walls. The decor is minimal, but it works - simple and homey. I especially appreciated the deep tubs in each bathroom. Just a heads up: if you're shorter or have mobility issues, getting in and out of those tubs might be a little tricky. The porch is a nice spot to hang out. One of the chairs felt a little wobbly, but the rest was great. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, aside from the occasional train that rolls by during the day - not a dealbreaker, just something to know. Overall, it was a great stay. The house was built in 1902 and has been very well maintained. It’s got the charm of an older home - creaky floors, tall ceilings, and big rooms - but still feels fresh and taken care of. The host was super nice, and we were even allowed to check in a bit early, which was much appreciated. I’d definitely stay here again.
The main downside was that two out of the three seating options in the living room weren’t very comfortable. The gray couch—possibly a futon?—was the least cozy of the bunch. That said, there’s a lounge chair that totally makes up for it and quickly became the favorite spot in the house. Also, a train passes by occasionally during the day, which might bother some folks, but our family didn’t mind it at all.
Location; ease of booking; great communication with the owner; plenty of basic supplies on site (toiletries, kitchen supplies, laundry, ect.);
Master suite bed creaks and makes a noise at the slightest move. It was a bit disruptive for sleeping.
Loved this little historical house!
It was so very hot.
So much nicer than staying at a hotel. Just a nice feeling about this home.
Home still needs some renovations. Will be a beautiful home at some point. This is just a note & not a criticism.
Charming old home, well maintained.
We have gotten used to big kitchens. This one is true the era, and is not big
We loved the fenced in back yard and the unique character of the house.
If you're elderly, the bathrooms will be hard to use.
Responsive host
No smoke detectors
Very well taken care of old house, very comfortable . The furniture was beautiful.

Great location. Host was extremely easy to work with. House itself was perfect for October.
Beautiful historic home; 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining and living room, kitchen, big, fully fenced backyard - ideal for dogs. Very spacious rooms ,
It’s not that we didn’t like something. We have no complaints. You need to LIKE to stay in an historic house with squeaky floors, and bedroom doors which don’t fully close. It’s part of the charm.
Beautiful home. Historic with tons of charm.

We only slept there. I loved the house, the history
The front door was not very stable. It could have been pushed open easily while locked. The house needed some really good dusting. The floor felt like you might fall through in spots.
It was super convenient for us and very guilt. Way more than we needed for just the two of us, but we definitely didn’t mind the extra space!
We LOVED the old house and creaky floors. We had fun trying to figure out what may have been original. Quiet neighborhood, easy freeway access, ample parking.
Both tubs/showers had a really high step over so were a bit rough for our little and elder. We always appreciate any listing notes that help us gauge accessibility. Only a few steps to get in.
We loved the character and charm of the house and neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was modern and pretty well equipped for cooking.
The train whistles in the middle of the night were quite loud, a negative for light sleepers. The master bath was beautiful but would be difficult to access for those with limited mobility.
Absolutely loved this old house!!
It was great to have three bedrooms and a good night's sleep.
Beautiful classic historic home

I loved the style of the home and how the furniture didn’t match but it all coordinated! Super comfy loved every bit of the stay!
The driveway was just a little hard on my car.
Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful older home with lots of character.
Nothing
The running water and power! We were out of power for almost a week, and we looked for a hotel for our family but nothing was available. Thankfully we found this beautiful home 15 minutes away from our house. We loved the beds and the rooms, it doesn't have much privacy with the barn doors, Other than that it's a great place! We would stay there again!
The privacy of a whole home versus hotel. No bugs inside.
Really needs a deep clean, and some repairs. Very cool, old house, but everything is a little damp and smells kinda funny. Good for a one night stop, better than some hotels I've ended up at.
Nice furnishings Comfortable beds
The tubs were both very high step ins. Not good for older people or those with disabilities.
3 bedrooms for the price of a hotel room. Beds were very comfortable. TVs in every room eliminated arguments on what to watch.
Needs updated. Floor would pinch your feet in some places and there was rust in the corner of the primary shower. Not having enough comfortable seating in the living room for the whole family to hang out.
Charming older home with character and comfort
More coffee cups
the house is so beautiful!!!
the pillows!!!!
it was nice and clean. Close to Wild Adventures
the fact that the showers were not too useful for someone with limited abilities. Trying to get in and out of the shower/tub combo in the master bathroom was a challenge. Loved the claw foot tub in the other bathroom, even though it was still a little bit difficult to get in and out of.
cute house, spacious, high ceilings, nicely decorated
The mattress . we slept in the bedroom attached to the bathroom. we didn’t check the other rooms. Train runs close by.
The beds were very comfortable in each room. The space was grand and more than adequate for our needs. The dining area table is great for eating and game playing. Location of the house is excellent and in a safe space.
The shower facilities are not appropriate for aging persons. There is a clawfoot tub and a VERY DEEP spa type tub with shower which made it difficult to access. The main bathroom has a barn door, which does not completely close. If the bathroom showers were updated and the main bath door improved to close for complete privacy, this would greatly improve the stay. The living room furniture needs a good upholstery cleaning.
I liked the charm and character of the home. High ceilings, fireplaces, leaded glass windows. The beds were comfortable. The yard was fenced in which was great for our dogs. The property-owner was available and responsive. It was located near the interstate and we had many options for places to eat.
The second bathroom was a little less stellar. Also it would have been nice to have a decent outside light in the backyard.
everything was nice except the bathtubs and showers
Bath, tub and showers
Everything was great
Everything was great
Beautiful home! Well furnished
Charming and unique place to stay. Pets allowed with a fenced backyard.
Front door lock was flimsy
