Castlerosse Park Resort Holiday Homes

We booked the 2 BR house. Wonderful amount of space for a group after a week of tiny hotel rooms. The restaurant was great & had a beautiful view of the lake. Affordable bike rental on site & easy access to the national park. Quiet at night. About an 8 minute drive into town (parking was easy in the lots). Highly recommend.

lots of spiders! also beware the washer/dryer combo takes all day for 1 load.

Apartment in die Jahre gekommen, Renovieren wäre angebracht, kein Wäscheständer vorhanden, gleichzeitig hat der Trockner nicht richtig trocknet

Sehr große Unterkunft mit zwei Bädern. Ideal für Urlaub mit zwei Pärchen. Sehr gute Lage für Ausflüge.

Die Unterkünfte sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Bäder hätten mal wieder eine Renovierung nötig.

Very nice terrain around, great for walks, good location. Very good food in the restaurant (possibility to order take out). Comfortable beds in the holiday homes. Big plus for washing-drying machine.

The holiday homes should be renovated. Kitchen and bathroom are very old. You need to bring everything on your own from washing liquid, soap to shampoo, shower gel etc. (things provided are not enough and of bad quality). This is very annoying when you come only for a couple of days and need to buy big bottles which you cannot finish or take back home. Restaurant staff not very nice (we waited 20 minutes to order only drinks and staff pretended not to notice us at all).

Il manquait d’équipements dans la cuisine; cafetière capsule. vaisselle, poêle, et de petits basiques; café , sel, poivre .. et un fil a linge car machine à laver et pisicine.

L'emplacement dans la nature, avec beaucoup de chemins de randonnée, calme Les chambres spacieuses, appartements bien équipé. Espace sauna, hammam, piscine, meme si dommage que ce soir interdit aux moins de 16 ans (sauf piscine)

Great access to local trails. Live music in pub was fun. Self catering rooms were spacious.

Rooms were extremely dated and felt very damp. Mould in bathrooms. Dish soap was not provided in kitchen. We ran out of hot water every day.

Beautiful surroudings, good space for 4 adults and a toddler. Playground and swimming pool was used a lot and the walk to Killarney town was lovely

We liked the living room, space, bedrooms. Very well maintained. Loved eating dinners over in the hotel, the view from the bar & the restaurant was wonderful and all of the food we had was excellent. The fish dishes were very very well cooked. We loved our stay and would love to return. All staff were very friendly & helpful. I would highly recommend Castleross Park Resort.

Maybe some of the dark wood & showers, felt a little dated, but that is just taste. The furniture & kitchen fittings & comfy beds outweighed this.

The Castlerosse Park was Amazing. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed the restaurant food and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We took advantage of the walking path and it did not disappoint we saw a family of deer along the path, it was breathtaking. The walk to downtown is approximately 25 minutes and if you want to take a taxi the front desk was very helpful with ordering a taxi which was very quick. I would highly recommend this place.

We've just arrived home today from our stay in Castlerosse. 2 adults and 3 kids. We had an absolute ball.. house was beautiful and lots of space. Kitchen and dining area were so big and 2 bathrooms also. Our first time staying here and we will definitely return!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

De locatie is subliem, we hadden een prachtig huisje met goede bedden en zicht op het golfterrein en het meer. We hebben hier wel voor moeten bijbetalen want ze stuurden ons eerst naar een huisje met zicht op de parking waar iedereen binnenkijkt in je living. Het receptiepersoneel was echter vriendelijk en behulpzaam en we kregen een andere cottage. De resort is ideaal als je met kinderen gaat en wil golfen of zelf fietsen meeneemt (en je zicht vraagt op voorhand!).

Het resort is verouderd, het eten in het restaurant is echt niet goed, niet vers (het was onze slechtste maaltijd in Ierland) en er was enkel wifi in de receptie. De wellness is een groot zwembad vol kinderen met een kleine sauna en hammam. Wij vonden het duur voor wat het was.

Bed's were Small. Double beds are not double i would say.

Breakfast was available at an additional cost and served in buffet style. While the offering was perfectly adequate, the selection remained unchanged each day, which might feel somewhat repetitive for guests staying longer than five days.

The apartment was spacious and very well located, creating the impression of a nearly luxurious stay. Regrettably, that impression faded rather quickly once the details began to reveal themselves. The radiators appeared to have served faithfully for several decades, making temperature control feel less like a convenience and more like an endurance test. The living room lighting was another curious choice — the energy-saving LED bulbs were apparently so committed to saving energy that, by evening, they left the room barely bright enough for reading. To complete the experience, the unstable internet connection and the weak shower water pressure ensured that even the simplest comforts came with unnecessary interruptions.

Fridge could have been bigger and some toiletries would have been good.

Love the houses, especially the shower, bedrooms are very well laid out. Love how the furniture is safely made especially for young toddlers. Very clean and has pretty much everything we needed. Good location.

The hotel bar has a very limited menu. Personally wouldn’t like anything but the fish and chips on it.

Nous avons eu des problèmes d'eau chaude. Pas de pression. Eau intermittente le premier jour.

The size and privacy of each unit was perfect.

The bathroom floors and incredibly dirty. We would put the bath mats on the floor and they would pick up all the dirt and would turn brown from the floor. Also the doors were difficult to close and open. To stay shut, they had to be locked with the key. To lock and unlock with the key, it was hard to handle.

Beautiful location, exceptionally friendly staff (reception/restaurant/bar/cleaning staff). Particular shout out to the reception who helped send some forgotten shoes back to the NL for us! Really stunning scenery with lovely walks and drives in the vicinity and a great restaurant and bar.

we had a stand alone house on the property with a lovely view fo the golf course and lake, which was very nice. the staff was exceptional friendly and professional, we had a minor issue with the hot water, and it was immediately resolved. It was very quiet for sleeping and the on site restaurants (2) were both very good ! The golf course on site was in very good condition, challenging with out being too hard, and is very reasonably priced

The only thing that could have been better was to have stayed longer !

The access to the national Park and downtown was fantastic along the trails. The grounds were absolutely beautiful!!!

We were a family of 6 , which included my mam aged almost 77 yrs , pool accessibility was very poor for her this maybe could do with improvement with the new planned alterations.⁹

The pool and gym facilities were good and grounds were very beautiful. The location is a 5min drive into town.

Lodges are spacious with lots of room for our family of 5. Free use of swimming pool and kids club in hotel was great and food in the bar was some of the nicest we had in along time. Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. Washing machine was great to have. Greenway into the town playground is safe for kids to scoot.

One of the showers we couldn’t get the temperature of the water to stay at correct temp. Cooker and hob are dated and could do with updating as very slow to use.

House perfect, staff exceptionally helpful Food absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back again soon. Perfect venue for family get together. We all loved it.

Ce n' est pas qualité que l'on attend d'un 4*. La salle de bain, il n'y a pas beaucoup d'eau chaude seulement une ou deux personnes maximum peuvent se doucher. Et l'état d'usage des salles de bains ne reflètent pas un 4*. Les lits sont trop petits pour 2

Comfort Privacy Near to Killarney

Great location and dining. The night sky was amazing. Stayed in one of the 2 bedroom places and it was a very nice size, easily adequate for 8. Tubs were very long and not jetted so you could actually use them without fear of biohazard. Kitchen well equipped for a short stay. Very convenient to town and national park sites.

Beds were okay, but pillows were hit or miss. Some were plush while others were completely flat. Bathrooms were pretty run down and could use a refresh.
