La estancia en la casa de invitados de David fue inmejorable. Desde mucho antes de nuestra llegada ya estuvo interesándose por nuestras necesidades. Nos dio una cálida bienvenida y nos hizo algunas recomendaciones sobre Laponia. La casa se encuentra en el mismo terreno donde viven el y su mujer, y se nota que la reformó para su uso personal, cuidando cada detalle y con una sauna y chimenea fantásticas. Dispone de los pequeños electrodomésticos básicos para poder hacerte el desayuno, pero no tiene cocina, aunque tiene algo mucho mejor, y es que puedes pedir que te hagan la cena. Cocinan de maravilla! Nosotros cenamos las dos noches y fueron de las mejores cenas que hicimos en todo el viaje. La ubicación es muy buena, a 5 minutos en coche de Santa Claus Village. Sin duda volvería a casa de David!

David and Erika were absolutely amazing hosts- among the services they offer are airport pick ups/drop offs, travel to and from local attractions or points of interest, homecooked meals (menu to pick from). We really recommend the food- it was delicious! When David picked us up from the airport, he took us to a shop on the way to the cottage to pick up a few essentials- he even came in the shop to translate labels for us! David offered lots of information about things in local area and was always available on the phone or in person if we had any questions/needed recommendations. Each day David picks up the dirty dishes and washes them in the main house and drops them off later. The cottage is so warm and cosy, with everything we needed for our stay. The sauna was fantastic after a day exploring. There is also Netflix and other streaming services on the TV. David has sledges available to use too. The cottage is around 30 minutes walk from Santa Claus Village, it's quite an easy and direct walk. We walked there with 10 and 11 year old. If you are thinking of booking this cottage, do it! It's amazing with the most amazing hosts!

Amazing, friendly and helpful host, really made things easy for us. Lovely clean property, great set up, cosy and comfortable adult beds, supportive with travel to various places, sauna was great, ability to dry clothes, gloves etc Highly recommend David as a host and his accommodation, thank you!

Everything! The location that is remote and gives you the opportunity to feel for real the Lapland spirit without immersing in the commercial, the host that helped us with everything and is very responsive at any situation: he drove us to the city and Santa Claus Village, picked us and dropped us to the airport, made dinner for us and even took some food to have in the fridge for breakfast. We definitely recommend the property! It is nicer than in photos!

We had the most incredible trip to Lapland, made truly unforgettable by our stay at Artic Circle Tranquility, From the moment we arrived, David went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He even picked us up from where we needed, which immediately set the tone for an exceptional stay. The cottage itself was fantastic, warm, cosy, and perfectly located. David’s homemade meal was genuinely restaurant quality, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble — every detail was handled with care, making our stay a solid 10/10. To make things even more special, it was my husband’s birthday during our stay, and David’s wife surprised us with delicious homemade baked treats, which was such a thoughtful and touching gesture. One of the absolute highlights was seeing The Northern Lights from the garden. David let us know exactly when they were happening meaning we didn’t miss out. Overall we had a fantastic stay and we can’t wait to come back.

The host is what makes this place special. From lifts/taxis when needed, information and recommendations. Garden was perfect for kids to play in the snow and the cottage was warm comfortable and really cosy with the addition of a sauna at the end of the day. Homebaked Finnish treats were delicious 😋

The accommodation is a 10 in every way. The facilities, the beauty of the surroundings, and above all, the hospitality of David and Erika. They were very attentive to us at all times. The food is absolutely delicious and very generous. If you need transportation to anywhere, David will drive you for a very reasonable price. The house has a sauna in the bathroom, which is spectacular. We are delighted with the treatment we received, and if we ever return, we would definitely stay here again without hesitation. The cottage was like home from home. The hosts were exceptional and so helpful and accommodating. The Sauna was used ever night after all our activities. Having home cooked meals delivered to your door by the host was fantastic after busy Days out. As an Independent travel agent I would highly recommend this Day. We walked daily to the lical shop 15mins and walked to scv in 20 mins with beautiful surroundings.Our New Years outdoor party with our hosts and Family topped off our magical holiday.

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The location is excellent, very quiet surroundings, within 10 minutes by car from the airport, Santa Claus Village and the city center. Parking right next to the accommodation. The host, David, is very pleasant and willing to help and advise and an excellent cook, we definitely recommend trying his local cuisine and accommodation. If we ever return to Rovaniemi, we will definitely come back here. Thank you.

Having read the reviews before we stayed, can confirm David is the most attentive and responsive host and has made our Lapland stay so much better and so convenient. He arranged for brekkie groceries, cooked delicious traditional finnish dishes - very convenient as we have young kids and the restaurants were very busy in peak time, plus he dropped us off and picked us up wherever we needed to go, making everything so hassle free. The cottage is very cozy, clean and has beautiful character, you can tell it’s been lovingly restored. Was very comfortable and warm, the traditional finnish sauna was a great treat at the end of the day. And speaking of treats, the homebaked cookies were a very special surprise!

Absolutely amazing- we are just back from the a 4 night stay! The cottage is gorgeous & David is amazing really went above and beyond for us - collecting us from the train station & stored our bags until check in, taxied us around when needed @ an extra cost but a lot more reasonable than other taxis in the area! The cottage itself is very cosy 2adults & 3 kids - living room, bedroom & breakfast station - sauna was definitely a highlight! No cooking facilities apart for microwave kettle toaster, coffee machine & fridge but David has a gorgeous menu and you can order from for meals! Location was great about 5 mins drive to SCV & 10mins into main city! We had Santa visit our house on one evening and David was amazing in helping with this also! His wife Erica baked us some gorgeous apple and plum treats for our last night! Would definitely recommend and will definitely make a plan to return .

The cottage was the perfect accommodation - very spacious and in a quieter neighborhood. The host was extremely hospitable and was our go-to for taxi service. He even cooked us dinner which was fabulous and better than the restaurants in town. The beds were comfortable and the sauna was amazing. Pepe the cocker spaniel was an added bonus!! I would recommend this stay to anyone! Thank you, David and Erika!

Everything about this property is fantastic and made for a really memorable trip. The property was super clean, had a great Sauna and has loads of room. It includes a great garden in which the kids had a great time playing in the snow. The best thing about the stay was David who is an exceptional host. From giving us tips on local activities to do, providing beautiful food and having a great taxi service he went above and beyond. With his vast knowledge of the locality it really made the trip much easier. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in Rovaniemi to stay in this property. They will not regret it.

I can surely say this is the best place to stay in Rovaniemi. It is on the outskirts, far enough from the noise of the city, but only a short drive from the city center and a 20 -min -walk to Santa's village which is a beautiful path surrounded by the forest. There are also more paths around the cottage in the forest with the best sledding sites for kids - David was so kind and took us for a short walk up the hill and showed us around. The cottage has everything you may need to feel super comfy during your stay - two spacious rooms, a big bathroom and the sauna which is the icing on the cake and a big garden where the children can play in the snow. We stayed there for 6 nights and were really sad to leave David's place. And we all agreed that the best part of all of it was David himself - he makes you super welcome, he is always there when you need him and at the same time is super discreet. My daughter actually says that it was David's dog she will miss the most. I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart.

Real artic experience! The most amazing host, David is very helpful being able to help you move around Rovaniemi and a great chef. We were in this cozy cottage, with real sauna and fireplace for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing day and it was exceptional. David is offering the most amazing homemade food for all this special days, Lapland's real festive dinner experience. Always ready to help but also very discret if needed. He and his amazing family are more than hosts, you can really feel the Christmas spirit with them!

Absolutely loved this property! It was perfect in every way and we really appreciated David making us feel so welcome. The property is really comfortable, clean and has great amenities. It’s in a lovely location and was super easy for us to walk to Santa Claus Village. We also valued the option to purchase evening meals and lifts provided by our host. We loved the sauna and the touches David had added to the property to make it special.

The sauna was a pleasant surprise! There was a place to park a car. The very polite owner was ready to answer all our questions. If we had no car, they were ready to pick us up and bring us to the place. The house is within walking distance from Santa Claus village—if the temperature is not very low, you can walk.

What an amazing accommodation. I cannot recommend highly enough. In a great location near Santa Claus village, the lodge is well equipped and very clean. The sauna was great to warm up after cold days out. David, the owner was super helpful. He picked us up and took us back to the airport and was available for taxi rides when we needed. We planned to eat in for breakfasts and make our own lunches and we were able to send a shopping list to David a few days before. It was amazing to arrive to a fully stocked fridge! We decided to eat in one night and David prepared a delicious meal delivered to our door which we all throughly enjoyed. This was rounded off by freshly baked pastries prepared by his wife. David - thanks you so much for an amazing stay!

The property had a great location, close to airport and Santa Claus village. The property itself was clean, tidy and had everything you would need for your stay including sauna, tv with Netflix etc, kids sledges, garden to play in. The hosts were incredible they organised taxi for pick up and drop off to airport aswell as our activities, they provided takeaway an food services. We cannot thank the hosts enough for going above and beyond for our stay.

Everything! I don’t know where to start but the property has everything you can possibly need to make your stay brilliant. It’s beautiful, comfortable and even has a sauna! The dedicated host, David, offers beautiful meals that you can have at the property and after a long day of activities it’s exactly what you need. And the portions are massive! But David is the best thing about the property as he honestly will make your holiday so much easier and help with anything from lifts to organising trips, which we found so helpful having young children. It took so much of the stress away and honestly helped make the trip as great as it was. I would 100% recommend staying here and we’d all come back in a flash. Thank you so much!

The accommodation was lovely, very quaint, great to have a sauna to use too along with using the main garden for playing snowball fights and building snowmen. David was a brilliant host and extremely helpful.

Can’t recommend highly enough! Beautiful property, spotlessly clean. It was lovely and cosy with a real fire which we didn’t actually need but was all set up for us on arrival. David was really helpful and provided us with airport transfers and taxi services at a reasonable price for our entire visit. The property has a lovely garden which my son enjoyed playing in the snow and is a really short distance from the SCV and Santa Park. Absolutely ideal for us!

Cannot fault out stay absolutely perfect. On arrival our host collected us from the airport & during check in was very informative including all safety aspects. All areas were very clean, lots of space. David went above and beyond to help our trip be a perfect one offering a trip to a nature park (which I highly reccomend) as well as offering driving to places/home cooked meals. I highly reccomend the home cooked meals! During the stay David checked in with us to make sure everything was OK and was always on hand if needed. On our last day even held onto our bags till our evening flight. Cannot fault him/the accommodation we are already planning to return next year to stay again. Thank you for making our trip a memorable one!

The owner is friendly and helpful. The house was comfy and stylish. We were warm and cosy the entire time, owing to the fireplace and the sauna. The bathroom was huge and well thought out.

The property was impeccably clean and had everything we needed, it was ideally situated. We loved the sauna and the fire and the kids loved playing in the garden. David was a wonderful host, answering any questions we had. It was just brilliant!

The location was excellent as it was 5 minutes by car from Santa Clause village and 10 minutes from the city center.The host David was very helpful, willing and nice! The food he offers at home on payment had excellent quality and in big portions. I can confidently say that it is superior and lighter on the stomach than famous restaurants we tried.The traditional Finnish sauna in the house was an integral part of our daily life! The house was comfortable for a family of 4 and very quiet! I highly recommend it to families as well as couples as it is a romantic farmhouse in the snow with fireplace and sauna!

Thank you David for making our stay so comfortable and hassle free. The accommodation was fantastic, always warm and had everything we needed. It was so great arriving to a stocked fridge and all the towels and toiletries provided and the sauna was such a nice treat. Having the option of your taxi service was so handy and saved us using expensive taxis. You really go above and beyond as a host making sure your guests are so well looked after. I hope we get the change to return again for longer

The location was perfect, David and his son were so nice to us always available to take us to the places we wanted to go and at affordable price !! The place was also very very nice and we enjoyed having the sauna

This property was idyllic, it was in the perfect location, quiet with stunning views! The house itself was lovely a clean and the perfect size for our short stay! There was everything you needed on site alongside extras which the host David was more than happy to be of help, with food, transfers and generally welcoming. It was like it had been cut straight from a movie. Its a walkable distance (20 mins) from Santas village which was a great walk with some of the views and perfect hills for sledging! The sauna after a day out was a real treat and David enlightened us on the Finnish traditions which made the trip all the more special! Couldn’t recommend staying here enough. We can’t wait to visit again!!

Everything, the Host he is really amazing

The cottage was absolutely charming, with lots of lovely details, and super clean. Everything was brilliant from the comfy beds to the cosy lounge area and the amenities. Having an open fire and sauna was wonderful and both were set ready to use by the host David. The location was peaceful in beautiful surroundings, away from the busy centre. You can book a lift with David or catch a bus, and we were picked up from the front door by both of our excursion providers, so moving around is easy. The host David is very friendly, helpful and easy to contact, like a great neighbour. If you’d like a little piece of authentic Finland then this is the place to stay!

David was waiting for us to hand over the key. We told him, that our daughter have pains in the ear from flying....he help us immediately and call him daughter a doctor. She come after 30 minutes and take a look on the ear of our daufghter and recommend some medicine..... We say agin thanks a lot to David and him daughter. The sauna and the tiled stove was ready prepared for fire. We agreed David should knock on the door if he see a nothern light and real David knock an we see could the nothern light in nature. Also we could recommend to aks him for the dinner with himemade salomon soup and rendeer meet. the food as real tasty and much better than in an restaurant. The sauna and the tiled stove was ready prepared for fire. All together it was for us till now the best stay in a house or appartment.

Highly recommended place if you are travelling with children. There is a very big garden outside and David, the host, has sledges to play there. Very comfortable cottage full of details, very clean. There is a Dolce Gusti machine with capsules, sugar, chocolate, tea, so you can have breakfast there before you start your activities. 5 min from the airport, 5 min from Rovaniemi. You have parking at the place. Thank you so much David for making our stay perfect.

This is a very comfortable, cozy, wonderful house. The house is very beautiful. It has everything you need for rest - silence, fireplace, sauna, comfortable and soft beds. For children, the owner provides shovels and sleds. And an incredibly delicious dinner of traditional Finnish cuisine, which can be ordered from the host. It was an amazing stay at this guest house. The house is clean and everything in perfect condition. The sounding is amazing and an amazing walk down to Santa Claus village and supermarket. The host is friendly and always ready to help. I am looking forward to be there again.

The location was so close to everything. The owner couldn't do enough for us from the minute he picked us up from the airport, to the moment he dropped us off. we were originally booked to stay in an expensive glass dome but changed our plans, and we didn't regret it for one second. I could not recommend the property any more. Clean, spacious, warm, log burners and radiators, an amazing sauna too, and home made baked cakes aswell! Our host provided us with an inexpensive taxi service, aswell as a welcome pack from the supermarket to get us started. we only wish we had stayed for longer...

The property was absolutely perfect in every way, we spent one of our days just relaxing in the warmth and space of it, aswell as sledging down the local roads. The photos on the website somehow do not do the property justice.

This was an amazing place to stay while visiting Rovaniemi, it was about 20 minute walk to visit Santa in Santa clause Village.On arrival our host had milk,bread, and yoghurts in the fridge waiting us, he's hospitality and assistance with us was amazing on making our trip more magical, he even had snow shovels ready for the kids.Would highly recommend the Artic Circle Tranquility.Lovely people and great location.Hopefully we'll get bk again soon.

Communication with David before our stay was quick and easy. He greeted us in person and gave us a tour of the property. Everything was explained and he even set up the fireplace and log-burning sauna before our arrival. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had a perfect "home from home" feel. The venue being just 10 minute drive from the airport and Rovaniemi City Center, you would think of noise and busy traffic... Nope, this lodge is surrounded by forest trees, nature, peace and quiet. Perfect. I'm not a fan of big commercial hotels at the best of times, and with this venue having easy access to Santa Village and Santa Park, I struggle to see why you wouldn't choose this lodge as a base to explore this stunning part of the world. David, Thank You.

Really enjoyed staying here, great location for Santa Claus holiday village, Santapark, airport and even Rovaniemi. The garden is fabulous for kids to play in. No full kitchen but can have breakfast and lunch here due to coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and lots of utensils. Sauna and bathroom were amazing and really cosy house. David is so nice and helpful.

It would have been better if we would have known that David can cook and serve dinner. I would have liked it to try local food.

The owner of the property was more than helpful and accomidating. Made our family feel at home instantly. I loved the bungalow, it was spotlessly clean and so very homely. The location was excellent, close to santa's village and just a short walk to the shop. Such an idealic bungalow. The sauna was the icing on cake. We definitely be back.
