Uns hat alles gefallen. . Das Mökki war einfach, aber sehr gemütlich etwas unkonventionell mit Aussenküche und Trockentoilette, aber es war alles da was man braucht. Das Mökki ist nichts für Leute die Luxus brauchen, sondern für solche die die Natur und Einsamkeit lieben. Es liegt direkt am See. Besonders gut hat uns die Sauna direkt am See gefallen. Miika. der Vermieter hat sie uns jeden Abend angefeuert. Überhaupt war er ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Wenn wir etwas brauchten war er sofort zur Stelle. Ruderboot und SuPs können kostenlos ausgeliehen werden. Der Blick auf den See ist einfach traumhaft.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Miika nos hizo sentir que es feliz compartiendo su paraíso con otras personas. Todo simple y magnífico al mismo tiempo. Una gran experiencia. La recomiendo a todo el mundo!!

We absolutely loved our stay here and didn’t want to leave! The setting is incredibly beautiful and so quiet. Miika is a wonderful host - very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage itself has been designed very thoughtfully - it feels like you’re living in nature but with all of the facilities you could want. It’s all been very cleverly designed to make it an amazing and very cosy place to stay. There was plenty of space for three of us. There are two kitchen areas - indoor and outdoor - and two different places that you can have a BBQ. We loved the sauna and taking a dip in the lake afterwards. The outdoor lighting made it easy to get back to the cottage in the dark and looked very pretty. Next to the sauna is a seating area with beautiful lake views which we enjoyed sitting in even when it was raining. It’s great to have a boat and paddle boards to use too. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere although the lovely little town of Savonlinna isn’t far away. We felt relaxed and rejuvenated when we left - it really is a very special place to stay.

El entorno increíble. Con todo lo que puedes necesitar (utensilios de cocina y electrodomésticos, material para limpiar, productos de higiene...). Cuenta con un bote de remos y tablas de paddle surf. Miika un anfitrión perfecto (amable, dispuesto a ayudar, simpático...). Cada tarde nos preparaba la sauna. Aunque sale otra nota global, la experiencia es de 10.

10 Tage inmitten der Natur und Kultur (Opernfestival In Savonlinna) ist die beste Erholung für Leib und Seele.

The location is stunning. The sauna is right on the lake with steps for getting into the water. There is a boat for rowing, 2 sups, bbq and a firepit on the terrace beside the sauna. We spent 3 lovely evenings there. The cottage is very well equipped and we only brought our own food and drink, but there are all types of utensils etc. There are walks nearby and we went to pick blueberries. Dry toilet outside was an experience, but nothing unusual :)

Majoituspaikka ylitti kaikki odotukset. Kaunis ympäristö, erittäin ystävällinen isäntä ja maailman parhaat löylyt. Kaikki aina peiton laadusta lähtien oli priimaa.

Die Hütte war sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingeteilt. Die Ruhe war herrlich und wunderbar entspannend. Die sehr gute Ausstattung der Küche hatte ich anhand der Bilder gar nicht erwartet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr unkompliziert trotz Sprachbarriere. Die Sauna unten am See hat er uns jederzeit zur Nutzung vorbereitet und auch das Boot durften wir kostenfrei nutzen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden dieses Schmuckstück immer weiterempfehlen!

Ihana pikkumökki ja loistava palvelu! Rantasaunalla odotti aina puut, vedet ja vasta valmiina saunomista varten. Siellä oli hyvä saunoa ja uida. Mökki loistavalla sijainnilla kansallispuistoihin ja Oravin vierasvenesatamaan nähden. Ihanaa luonnonrauhaa.

It was an incredible stay with such a nice and helpful host! The location is great and the wood sauna on the lake just amazing!

La gentillesse et la discrétion de Mika . L’environnement le sauna , le ponton la petite plage en bas. La petite terrasse à côté de la chambre pour prendre nos repas. Le bouquet de muguet … Nous avons aimé l’expérience unique du côté rustique .

Sortir la nuit pour aller aux toilettes sèches est une expérience unique …À évaluer selon les goûts de chacun mais c’était décrit dans les photos

What's with the people giving it 8/9 stars!? Was the location too serene, too quiet, built with too much love and care??? This is a 10/10 stay, so beautiful, I never wanted to leave. The host even offered to heat the sauna when I arrived, you see the golden light from the sunset on all the little islands and swim in the clear still lake... I loved the little outdoor kitchen, it was so well stocked and thought out. I don't usually even notice if the mattress is comfortable or not, but here I was like sleeping on a cloud... Thank you so much for this wonderful stay:)

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel. Tout était parfait, la maison, le sauna, l'accueil et le cadre. Le moment était vraiment magique et nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir.

Miika is a great host. The little house is very cosy. The surroundings and the landscape is beautiful. The little sauna house by the lake was a real surprise and the best experience for us in this place. Thank you Miika.

Very nice, remote place to really feel the Karelian tranquility. We travelled in late October, so haven't had the chance to swim. In summer time, there might be more activities present. However, we tried the sauna which was very good!

The outdoors toilet was not very comfortable, but we knew the toilet was outside before booking the place.

Kompakti ja yksityinen vierasmaja sisälsi kaiken tarvittavan. Erillinen saunarakennus oli suojaisa ja viihtyisä, mahtavat löylyt ja näkymät. Loistava paikka rauhoittumiseen ja rentoutumiseen. Mahtava isäntä!

Aivan upealla paikalla oleva majoitus, ihana rantasauna, tunnelmallinen valaistus koko pihapiirissä sekä tosi mukava ja avulias paikan omistaja!

Majoitusmökki oli hieman ahdas, mutta tähän olimme kuvien perusteella jo varautuneetkin.

Vierasmajan miljöö oli idyllinen ja rauhallinen, ja majassa itsessäänkin oli täydellinen maalaistunnelma sekä kaikki, mitä saattoi tarvita tai toivoa. Rantasauna oli mahtava ja isäntäväki hyvin vieraanvarainen. Sattui vieläpä kesäisen lämmin sää, joten tämä viikonloppu oli meidän mielestämme täyden kympin kokonaisuus!

Posizione (vista incredibile sul lago cantato dagli Amorphis), possibilità di sauna, uso della barchina, del SUP (tutto gratuito) e della meravigliosa vasca di acqua bollente (questa a pagamento) sempre affacciata su un paesaggio di puro romanticismo. Oltre al cottage dove si dorme (i servizi sono esterni), c'è una bellissima altra capanna, proprio sul lago, dove c'è la sauna, ma che è anche possibile utilizzare per mangiare o osservare le placide acque del lago.

Bisogna avere un minimo di spirito di adattamento perché i servizi igienici sono esterni con bagno biologico.

Sehr ruhige und idyllische Lage. Der Gastgeber war aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Sauna mit Blick auf den See und der angrenzende private Steg sind ein Highlight für Naturliebhaber und Ruhesuchende. Es konnten zwei SUP-Boards sowie ein Ruderboot kostenlos genutzt werden. Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet und hat ein authentisches finnisches Ferienerlebnis geboten.

Mir hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Meine Freundin musste sich allerdings erstmal an die "Einfachheit" gewöhnen und hätte es gerne moderner gehabt (sie hat mir die Buchungen überlassen und wusste nicht, worauf sie sich einlässt). Mit der Zeit konnte sie den Aufenthalt dennoch sehr genießen. Dies soll lediglich ein Hinweis sein und keine Kritik darstellen, da die "Umstände" wie z.B. das separate Plumpsklo und die Außenküche der Unterkunftsbeschreibung entnommen werden können.

Podobało nam się wszystko, a najbardziej położenie - nad pięknym jeziorem, z wyłącznym dostępem do pomostu, sauny oraz sprzętu wodnego. Gospodarz bardzo się starał, żeby nasz pobyt upłynął jak najprzyjemniej. Czuliśmy się tutaj naprawdę znakomicie.

Nie było niczego takiego.

Eccellente soluzione per chi ama vivere a contatto con la natura e non si fa problemi ad avere i servizi separati dalla stanza da letto. Tutto è molto curato, realizzato con molta creatività ed è un ambiente rilassante e sereno. Ottima l'accoglienza del proprietario Mikka, che ci ha messo a disposizione la sauna, la barca a remi per fare bellissimi giri sul lago, e ci ha accompagnato a fare una piacevole passeggiata. Sicuramente un posto da consigliare.

This place was perfect for us. There was air conditioning and we were easily able to drive to the opera festival. The guy who owns the place was so kind. We used his row boat one day. The landscaping was amazing. I think we were fortunate to book this place.

Great cottage with outdoor kitchen and shower. Lakeside sauna with boat, paddle board, kayak and a pier to jump off of. Host is friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.

The host Miika was so helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and we had everything we needed close by. The kitchen had all the cooking implements we could want. The shower room had extra soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo etc. The location was lovely and Miika prepared the sauna and open fire for us for when we got back in the eving. I would highly recommend it.

Great cottage experience, truly authentic countryside Finnish experience as per described in previous reviews. The puusauna was great as well as the bath tub (extra payment for it in cash). Miika was a great host and always made sure we had a pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend it. Kiitos vieraanvaraisuudesta! :)

First of all, we were welcomed very nicely by the Owner, who showed us all places and functions. The location is extremely beautiful with perfect Sauna just next to the lake. Boat and 2 x Sups (!) were available. We were blessed with sunny Finnish summer weather and truly enjoyed the 22 C lake water with Sauna. The main cabin is sweet and rustic with great cooking possibilities outside the cabin. One can also cook at the Sauna area. Everything was technically mastered to take the best care of the visitor. Superb experience - we would love to return!

If you want to stay at a cottage, this is for you. You’ll have the tiny guesthouse. It comes with a double bed, air conditioning unit inside, refrigerator and a flatscreen tv. The sauna at the lake is wonderful and hot and it is private enough that you can skinny dip in the lake. There is a pergola at the lake where you can enjoy your lunch or a glass of wine. Very peaceful and calming. The host, Miika, is a nice guy but doesn’t speak English. There is a paddle board or a rowboat to explore the lake. It’s about a 13 minute drive into Savonlinna. Hit the grocery store first for your supplies.

This accommodation isn’t for the faint of heart. It is truly cottage living. The toilet is compostable and is outside. Drinking water is from a well and served in a plastic container. The kitchen is outside under a shelter. BBQ and hot plate. The shower and sink are in a separate building. The shower works well.
