Simply, it's a home, away from home!

Fantastic location, beautiful house, good wifi downstairs, Plenty of toilets, good showers.
It's a very minor quibble, but a few more cups would have been handy. We got some new ones and left them behind us.
Location
Noise from neighbouring house with a crying baby in the night travelled. Back yard is a bit of nothing and could be made much nicer. No chest of drawers in biggest bedroom.
Location wonderful clean, everything we needed was there. Owner easy to contact.
Bed little low for older folks
Lovely modern house in a beautiful location in an area of outstanding beauty. House was warm, comfortable and very clean throughout. Village had restaurants, bars and a supermarket, easy walking distance. Had a great holiday, would definitely recommend this house if visiting Connemara.
Nothing we didn’t like.
House was clean, warm and good location to travel round Connemara. Locally Kabo does great coffee, Veldon's good gastro style traditional pub for food, Guires peak was great for breakfast and the owners are lovely. Books at one another good local find for tea/coffee and cake and had a good selection of books on sale (new and secondhand). There is also a small supermarket which stocks a good range so should find most of what you need there.
We had an issue with loud noise when either of the bathrooms upstairs was used and the host was unhelpful in resolving or addressing the issue. After communication back and forth, we escalated the complaint to Booking who upheld our complaint. Also the host spelt my name wrong on occasion, which made me question if there was a bias at play, especially as they were quick to accuse me of 'many many' complaints and only wanting to seek a refund. I had only asked if there were extra towels and then highlighted the noise. These were the only things I 'complained' about. All communication was through booking and they upheld our complaint and have escalated it internally. I felt the host tried to gaslight me, using their history of good reviews to undermine our current experience. I am accepting that there can be issues, the host knew of the issue and didn't flag it to us prior to arrival or even come to check the noise themselves (we sent a recording to booking.com who agreed it was an unacceptable level and length contrary to the hosts response). You are only provided with one standard size towel per person for 7 days, there are no spare towels. These are not bath sheet size either. Things I didn't complain about but worth considering WiFi does not reach upstairs, it only covers the downstairs. There was a trip hazard in the living room due to a worn away rug corner. No hanging rails in two of the bedrooms. All the beds are low to the ground. Two of the beds have soft mattresses - one of our party had to sleep on the sofa as a result, but we had no spare bedding. The TV was not 45in No doormat at the front door, so you need to mop constantly (Connemara rain!) Sticky bathroom door in main bedroom (door needs planing) There's no local guide or info booklet. The place lacks personality. There are no small touches. Which is fine but consider the cost.
Beautiful house, excellent location, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and very well kept, plenty of space for family of 5! Lots of little extras like cushions, throws, kids toys, dishwasher and detergent tablets.
If I had to pick something it might be to have some wooden spoons and extra cookware for the oven but we managed just fine.
Loved the village location, close to fabulous coastline and mountains…
The property was fabulous and very close to village amenities…

Very clean and stylish
This is the nicest holiday home we have stayed in in this part of Connemara, it's clean, modern, warm and very spacious. Letterfrack is a brilliant base for exploring Connemara, located close to so many beautiful beaches, Renvyle was our favourite (only 10 minutes by car) with amazing swimming. The National Park is a 5 minute walk from the house, great hiking and really amazing views. The grocery store, cafe and pubs are all nearby. Veldon's Pub serves delicious food with traditional music on the weekends. The best way to explore the region is by cycling, bikes are available in Clifden (only 20 minutes away). Check out the 'Unforgotten Herron' on the way to Leenaun (15 minutes by car) for fantastic food and stunning views of Killary Harbour.
We loved Connemara!
