The lack of light and the wooden floor in the shower. The breakfast could be improved.

The old traditional building with lots of space in the living room and kitchen plus a nice garden to spend the evening. Fully equipped kitchen and barbecue facility. Good breakfast and very friendly and welcoming owners. Quiet surroundings.

We'd have preferred a double bed instead of two single beds.

La camera è piuttosto piccola, estremamente buia e purtroppo con odore di muffa. Il bagno con una bella doccia (vetro non pulito) ma buissimo. Il condizionatore mal funzionante e rumoroso. Di notte era abbastanza fresco anche senza ma di giorno ci vuole. Colazione da fare in autonomia con offerta minima.

Authentiek particulier eigendom in originele lavastenen en dikke muren met 3 kamers, en gezamenlijke ruimten zoals een tv/lees kamer, ontbijtkeuken en terras. Carlos de eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Je kunt gebruik maken vd wasmachine en bbq onder de veranda Op 15 min loopafstand vh vliegveld van São Jorge!

De bedden waren ons insziens 80 (160)x190. Voor ons geen probleem maar mocht je lang zijn of fors, zal dat niet prettig zijn

A mejorar.Estuvimos alojados en la habitacion 3 y había mucha humedad. El aparato de aire acondicionado era muy ruidoso (algo no funcionaba correctamente).

L'accueil chaleureux et bienveillant ainsi que les petites attentions de Carlos. La propreté des lieux et la situation géographique. Le fait de pouvoir utiliser la machine a laver le linge.

Das Haus ist geräumig und hat einen schönen Außenbereich. Es liegt zwar sehr nah am Flughafen, aber hier kommen nur so 2 Flugzeuge an und starten täglich, ist also kein Problem. Mit dem Auto muss man eine steile Auffahrt hochfahren…das ist auf Sao Jorge aber auch anderswo Usus…also der Fahrer braucht gute Nerven. In der Nähe gibt es eine schöne Badestelle…runterlaufen geht aber nicht ideal, weil man an der Straße läuft. Der Ausblick ist wunderbar.

Die Duschabtrennung könnte mal eine Grundreinigung erfahren, sonst war alles sehr sauber.

La posizione era ottima, facile da raggiungere e moto comodo il parcheggio dietro alla struttura. La casa molto bella, con spazi comuni eleganti e ben arredati. La cucina spaziosa, comoda da utilizzare anche per la cena. L'host l'abbiamo visto per il chek-in. Arrivti in struttura , l'abbiamo chiamato ed è arrivato subito per aprirci e spiegarci il funzionamento della casa. Dopo siamo stati assolutamente indipendenti, al mattino abbiamo sempre trovato la colazione pronta, con una disreta vaietà di prodotti. La camera era spaziosa, anche il bagno molto spazioso e ben arredato.

La doccia pur essendo molto bella avrebbe bisogno di un po' di manutenzione

La chambre, le cadre juste magnifiques. Un très espace extérieur paisible, la possibilité d'utiliser la machine a laver a notre guise. Endroit très calme et proche des restaurants

Comoda posizione per esplorare Sao Jorge. Ospitalità e cordialità eccezzionali dell'host sempre disponiblie. Colazione eccellente.

Boa localização, alojamento encantador. O que mais gostamos foi conhecer o Sr. Carlos, a D.Elmira e a sua neta, foram muito queridos connosco e estiveram sempre disponíveis e prontos para recomendar planos para fazer na ilha e ajudar no que fosse preciso!

O quarto onde ficamos era pouco arejado e sentia-se um pouco de humidade o que pelo menos para mim não é muito confortável. Acredito que nem todos os quartos sejam iguais.

O Sr Carlos e a D. Elmira são por demais atenciosos, prestáveis e simpáticos. Apesar da localização ser perto do aeroporto, este tem muito pouco tráfego e não há ruído. É um sítio tranquilo.

É mesmo necessário carro para esta localização, porque não há muita coisa perto. O edifício foi bem recuperado e é bonito, mas os quartos ou a zona exterior podiam ser mais confortáveis para se estar depois de um dia de explorações. No geral, e comparando com outros estabelecimentos, é um pouco caro.

Accueil tardif de Carlos et sa collègue très chaleureux. Emplacement top proche de l'aéroport qui n'est pas bruyant. Merci pour l'attention délicate liée à notre mariage: 1 bouteille et des fleurs. Bon petit déjeuner. On se sent chez soi dans cette maison.

Casa in pietra lavica ristrutturata con ottimo gusto. I proprietari sono persone gentilissime e disponibili. Colazione super abbondante. Possibilità di utilizzare la cucina e le parti comuni compreso lo studio dotato di PC.

Casa tradizionale ben ristrutturata molto accogliente. In buona posizione per visitare tutti i luoghi naturali più interessanti a Sao Jorge. Host molto premuroso. Consigliato!

Me gustó todo, desde el recibimiento y despedida por parte de Carlos con su amabilidad, agradable trato y disposición, hasta cada detalle de la casa. Disfrutamos unos atardeceres inolvidables en su bello y buen cuidado jardin, en compañía de los pájaros y las vistas vistas al océano y montaña. Sin duda para repetir.

A composição do café da manhã poderia ser melhor, mas de qualquer modo poder ser considerado razoável. O pessoal era muito atencioso, sempre disponível, amável e prestável, procurando sempre estar presente e fazer melhor. A localização situa-se muito perto do aeroporto, mas um pouco distante das praias (piscinas naturais). Há um restaurante que se recomenda nas imediações do alojamento.

As condições do quarto (comodidade e ausência de humidade). O banheiro não tinha ventilação adequada, o que provocava condensação. Nada a dizer em desabono do pessoal e à sua muito louvável disponibilidade, mas o facto de não residir no alojamento pode constituir um constrangimento em caso de necessidade. Comparando com outras unidades hoteleiras, o preço fica acima do razoável.

Geschmackvoll saniertes traditionelles Haus mit nur 2-3 Zimmern, wodurch man Ruhe und viel Privatsphäre genießt - mit Wohnzimmer und Küche und Meerblick. Zentral auf der insel, Nähe des Flughafens und ruhig gelegen.

The guesthouse is very clean and pleasant and new. The breakfast is great and the kitchen areas have everything needed for cooking your meals. The owner is very attentive and available to provide information. The location is convenient to the airport, to town and to the main roads to access the rest of the island. Lots of parking available.

The air was a bit damp and the room smelled a bit musty but the air conditioning helped to control this.

The host was truly nice and accommodating

Carlo was incredibly kind and always available to help, making our stay even better. The house is a typical Azorean home with beautiful sea views—truly charming and authentic. It’s conveniently located within walking distance from the airport, which was very practical for us. The place was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good, providing a great start to the day. Highly recommended!

Quarto espaçoso é muito limpo. O Sr. Carlos e a esposa foram excecionais ! Impecáveis mesmo.

une maison hors du commun ,chambre immense et bien équipé ,nous avions celle donnant sur la route et franchement pas gênant du tout .Petit déjeuner très bien tout en place à partir de 7h30 ,cuisine à dispo et jardin avec barbecue .D’une propreté exemplaire ,et de plus le lit fait tous les jours ,du jamais vu .Par contre co seul être véhiculé sinon pas possible car assez loin de tout à pied Merci pour tout

alors si je devais faire un micro reproche ce serait la literie de notre chambre et encore ça passe ,mais c’est le seul point d’amélioration .

Très bon accueil. Taille, décoration, équipement et propreté de la chambre irréprochables. Chambre située dans une maison aux parties communes vastes et agréables. Jardin attenant très bien entretenu. Possibilité d’utiliser machine à laver, séchoir, BBQ, cuisine d’été, transats… Petit déjeuner très bien organisé, bon et extrêmement copieux. Mise à disposition de vaisselle, thé et théière, café et cafetière, eau minérale et petits sablés traditionnels. Parking de la voiture sans problème. Notre meilleur lieu de séjour aux Açores.

Notre chambre donnait sur la route, tout de même un peu passante. Mais inconvénient très relatif car calme la nuit et il faut se lever tôt si on veut profiter de l’île!

Beautiful old building. I was so impressed with the space you have access to. You are really made to feel at home. We especially loved the outdoor kitchen and bbq space for eating and chilling in the evening. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and shower good. Breakfast was delicious, fresh bread, muffins or croissants. Ham, cheese, juice, fresh fruit etc. Tea and coffee and biscuits were available anytime. We found it to be in a good location to explore the island but you need a car - there’s ample parking alongside the house.

O pequeno-almoço era pouco variado

Carlos, la persona encargada de todo, nos lo puso muy fácil. Incluso nos acercó al aeropuerto algo que habíamos olvidado. Un 10 a la atención de este profesional y al desayuno.

The place is awesome. The caretaker was awesome. We could not have asked for a better place. Extra clean neat and orderly and lots of room.

The bed was a little too firm.

This property is a quaint and beautiful stone structure of the architecture seen all over the islands. The accommodations are unique and wonderful. We had a very large bedroom and bathroom. Interior design is modern and sleek and compliments the stone structure. Our bathroom is also very modern with a wonderful full spray shower. Towels are of spa level comfort. The room is freshened daily. We had access to a common room and ate breakfast in a dining/kitchen area. Breakfast consists of an amazing assortment of local breads, cheeses, meats. jams, fruits. It was so lovely that we chose to cook our dinner there one night as well. We met the other patrons (2 other rooms in this large house) and that was fun. In the backyard we used the washing machine and drying racks, which were very handy. Finding the property took us a few "passes by". FYI in the afternoon of arrival the host puts his name and phone # on the door for patrons to call. He came right over to let us in and welcome us. He is very kind and really means it when he says to contact him for any issues or questions. He gave us very good information on some things to do on the island. The location of this property is outside of Velas, on the way to Urzelina, and ended up being a nice location to head out daily in different directions all over the island.

Great 4 night stay for 2 couples spending 3 weeks in the Azores. Peaceful location was out of town, requiring drives to get to restaurants and grocery. We were touring the island by car, so this was no problem. Our only problem was realizing we were to call Carlos (card on the door) to get in! He lives off site, but provided a nice daily breakfast and was very responsive and eager to offer advise and answer questions. We enjoyed use of the washing machine and the kitchen for a couple simple dinners.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice old building.

The host is very nice and the place is beautiful. Perfect solution to spend the night surrounded by nature, yet very close to the airport. The place is very quiet, there is a terrace and a little garden where you can relax. The owner is very welcoming and caring, at your disposal for every request you may have.

If I can make a little suggestion, Wi-Fi doesn’t work very well if you are on the ground floor.

Shower room is super(very big and water power also good! Bed room also very neat and comfortable! Owner Carlos and his wife very kind and well attended!

Location was little bit far if you do not have car(not waking distance because of road condition)

Very friendly and helpful host. Great welcome. Lots of useful tips and advice. Nice breakfast with homemade fiq jam (which tastes awesome!). The place was huge since I was the only guest.

We received a very warm welcome despite arriving really late aroun 11.20pm. In the morning we got a good breakfast and a good coffee. Everything was really clean and tidy in the common kitchen and taking good care of. Outside is a grilling station free to use with a nice place to sit. We would have stayed more days, sadly it was already booked. They even helped us getting a car for a good price

We didn't mind at all but there is only a glasswall between bedroom and shower, so not much privacy in the bathroom.

Large bedrooms, great architecture & well decorated. Great view from the living room. João & Carlos were very helpful during my stay & the communication was easy. João picked me up on the port on the day of my arrival and later that day showed me a very considerable part of the island. The breakfast was good.

Great place that creatively uses its original space as a house rental. Unique building with great amenities; including an amazing air conditioner. Quiet area that’s not too far from all of the fun would definitely stay here again.
