Attention : il y a 3 chambres, donc théoriquement pour 6 personnes personnes. Mais 4 personnes est selon nous un maximum compte tenu qu il n'y a que 1 salle de douche et que le séjour n est pas équipé pour plus de 4 personnes.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026We were actually in awe when we pulled up at Peria Hills Cottage! The surrounds and view were absolutely stunning! The photos don’t do it justice at all. The cottage was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. I loved the mint app,Janice’s, and the special bonus for me were the Green Dragon mugs from Hobbiton! A hot cup of tea in one of the mugs and the view…..perfect!

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025The location was great for our trip to Hobbiton. We had everything we needed. Very peaceful, private, beautiful scenery. The cottage was clean and well laid out. Beds were comfortable. Though it looks like a lot fitted into a compact space, we had plenty of room for four people. Girls enjoyed the dog visit. This cottage is very good value. We would be very happy to stay here again.
Hard to find anything to criticise. If we were be8 really fussy, there wasn't much space for food storage if you were staying a while, but plenty of bench space so it wasn't a problem for us.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2025It was clean, comfortable and private. The location was stunning! It was quiet and the perfect place to relax and unwind for the long weekend. The cottage is only 15 minutes away from Hobbiton and only a very short drive away from the township. It had everything that we needed.
Only one minor thing- the tv doesn’t have chromecast, so we weren’t able to stream Netflix, Disney+ etc which I think would have made our stay even more amazing.

Just a note on the heat pump which it was a bit dirty and we couldn’t actually use cause we have lots of allergies

Reviewed Mar 28, 2025This place is such a gem. We wish we could have stayed more than one night. Our hosts were amazing and made sure everything was all set. My son left some travel gear and they made sure to hang onto it for us until we could stop by a week later. Truly above and beyond.

Reviewed Mar 26, 2025We liked the country environment, the peace and quiet and the wonderful views. Not too far to travel into town for a good choice of restaurants. Very clean and tidy rooms and a generous supply of condiments in the fridge. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and would recommend Peria Hills Cottage to any others.
The toilet flush ran continuously after flushing and needed juggling to stop but it was not really any bother to us. Just needs a little service. We would have liked a little note pad available so we could have left a thank you note to our hosts - as we didn't have any paper ourselves. Again a very minor detail.

Super close to the Hobbiton site which was the reason for our visit to the area but would definitely go back and spend longer at Peoria Hills Cottage, it was super relaxing.
