Entire New Modern Home in Matamata New Zealand

Very comfortable & clean.

Only one feedback, needed more lounge suite.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Matamata. It's light, spacious, clean, beautifully-decorated, and the hosts are so nice. They even left us some chocolates to welcome us! And the bed is so comfortable!

Excellent communication from the hosts leading up to our arrival, very welcoming treat at the door and the heat was already on for our arrival, it was freezing and pouring with rain so that was a lovely touch.

Loved the proximity to Matamata, we stayed for HOBBITON Middle Earth Halfling Marathon and it was prime.

No screens on windows and doors however this appears to be quite common in other accom we have stayed in.

Very comfortable, exceptionally clean, abundant food provided (thanks Dee!), very walkable to town, bus stop.

Location was very convenient. The amenities in the house are excellent. The property is fairly new and well maintained. A very comfortable stay for our party.

The facilities were excellent, well equipped kitchen, play area safe and secure for the little people traveling with us we could relax and enjoy ourselves.

The only thing that could be improved was the seating in the lounge area, an extra small sofa would have been better for our group, as we had four adults, perhaps a couple of bean bags or similar for the children.

The location was ideal- 10 min walk into Downtown Matamata. It was a little tricky to figure out exactly where the house was but it is down the driveway from the Inkster Tattoo. Dee was very helpful in answering my questions before arrival. The house was immaculate, and I noticed the little attentive details like the welcome chocolate, bread, milk and hefty towels. Dee & Rick are hosts that aim to make their guests feel welcome and stress free. Instruction manual was helpful so one didn't have to guess or search. Would definitely recommend this property.

Nothing really. A nice to have would be a dryer with the washer. If you arrived on a "wet" day and want to do laundry, there is a laundromat down the street with a bakery next to it :). There was nothing I didn't like about the entire experience from booking to leaving.

Amazing accommodation near Hobbiton. place was immaculate. perfect for what we needed. Good coffee. Cereal for the kids. Quiet and peaceful area.

This was the most well appointed short rent I have ever encountered including food, coffee and equipment. Dee & Rick were willing and helpful hosts who were delightful and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming right from the initial booking. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were even spoilt with a block of chocolate waiting for us on arrival along with a lovely welcoming note. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Everything was perfect. The host was there to welcome us even though we came in pretty late, and we felt extremely welcome. Would highly recommend this to any family looking to travel to NZ and visiting Hobbiton.

The accom was fresh, new, comfy and warm. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. We very much appreciated the little extras and contact.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is brand new offers comfy beds and fresh linens. Dee (the owner) was very nice and friendly. She provided us with some foods and beverages in the pantry. Small backyard with trampoline was just a bonus. Some restaurants were just walking distance. Hobbiton Movie Set was also 15 mins away made it a perfect home to stay. Thank you Dee.

It was a lovely stay, it had all facilities we could possibly need. The property was exceptionally neat and well taken care of. The attention to detail was amazing with everything communicated clearly. The thoughtful thank you note and welcome sign was much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again and recommend to others.

Dee was extremely friendly and accommodating. She personally answered all my questions very quickly via email. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and with plentiful supplies of breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, milk etc. The house is very private, with a nice little yard complete with trampoline and BBQ and outdoor furniture. Our family of 6 plus 1 year old baby, would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. Thankyou Dee for making our wedding stay so special.

The house was very clean and well organised. I loved the welcome sign on arrival and correspondence was quick and easy. I can not rate this property high enough. It set a very high standard for the remainder of our holiday which unfortunately no-one came close.

Dee was amazing and the house was perfect! Her hospitality blew us away! Everything feels new in the house, it is plenty spacious, and all three bedrooms are very accommodating. The kitchen is stocked well and the fresh fruit and bread were a special bonus!
