El camino del fuerte al hotel da miedo, hay en zonas que no hay luces. No había agua caliente… la habitación olía a cerrado. Las sábanas no son del tamaño de la cama… El desayuno 4 tostadas y café sin leche, lo que me pareció feo es que nos digan que no hay leche, y al de 2 minutos de salir de la habitación veamos que se estaban tomando un café con leche… no se, me ha parecido feo. Le dijimos para pagar con tarjeta, y nos dijo que el datáfono no funcionaba que era problema de su banco… olía a excusa. En booking ponía un precio, que no coincidía con el que pagamos.

Can order food also, loved that also Overall, I loved everything here. It was my second time visiting Galle and I chose to stay here because I loved it the first time.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und sah aus wie auf den Fotos. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und ermöglichte uns sogar einen früheren Check-in. Zudem war das Frühstück sehr lecker. Und die Lage war auch top, in wenigen Minuten ist man im Stadtzentrum.

The owner is a scammer. After the booking confirmation, the owner refused to check me in by saying that "the room is out of order". He also refused to cancel the booking few times, saying that he will do it later. Finally he hadn't implement this promise. Next day he cancelled the booking with the reason that I didn't come for check in. Strictly do not recommend this service.

The bathroom, although it's clean it has ants and small insects that are there all the time. The bathroom door doesn't get closed properly, so the insects get out to the room. The room is on the third floor, and no lift only stares. They do help you carrying them is they are around.

Reviewed Jul 31, 2025Super aardige host! Wij sliepen hier één nacht ter overbrugging van de afstand naar Negombo, dus vertrokken al vroeg naar de volgende accommodatie. Wij vroegen rond 18:00 of onze kleding eventueel nog gewassen kon worden en ze hebben ervoor gezorgd dat wij onze kleding de volgende ochtend schoon, helemaal droog en netjes opgevouwen terugkregen voor slechts 700 rp per kilo. Verblijf is op slechts 15 min loopafstand van het fort. Een echte aanrader!!

Cerca de la zona turística de calle pero en una zona tranquila, a 10 minutos andando del fuerte y otras atracciones turisticas y de la estación de autobuses.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2025Localisation idéale : accessible a pied au fort de galle et a la gare de train. Le logement est parfaitement propre. Merci ! Endroit lumineux et la décoration est épurée. On s'y est senti très bien. Le garcon qui s'occupe du logement est disponible. La terrasse commune est hyper agréable, il y a des transats et des hamacs pour se reposer. Je recommande fortement ce lieux. Possibilité de laver le linge pour 700 LKR/ kilo. Possibilité aussi de commander à manger pour un prix correct.

I liked that I had a balcony but wasn’t really usable, better chairs out there would have been a nice option, or a hammock. The towel was stained. The western breakfast wasn’t very nice and a hot drink wasn’t provided. The bed was broken. The only fridge space was down within the family’s actual kitchen so if I wanted a little bit of milk for a cup of tea or something it was quite a mission. A fridge in the guest kitchen would be great. There’s definitely space for it.

Pokój i łazienka sa odświeżone. Niestety zapach zamalowanego grzyba jest bardzo silny. Śniadania sa bardzo skromne.
