Good accommodation for a good price. Sami really takes great care and makes sure you have everything and know everything. You can rent a scooter directly at the accommodation. its a bit outside from town but perfectly quite.

A truly special stay – we felt like home! We stayed at Sami’s place for 3.5 weeks and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and safe. Sami is one of the kindest and most genuine people we’ve met during our travels. No matter what the issue was – he was always quick to help and never let us feel like we were on our own. That’s what truly made our stay so special. A big thank you also to Sami‘s lovely family – their hospitality and friendly nature made our time even more enjoyable. The room is perfect – very clean, well-equipped, and the price is very fair. The pool is amazing and the lounge area is super comfy – perfect for couples, two friends traveling together, or solo travelers. Breakfast is great – and please, try the banana pancakes – they’re the best we’ve ever had! 😍 We also read in some reviews that the location is a bit remote, but in our opinion, it really isn’t. With a scooter, you’re in the city center of Ubud in 15–20 minutes. And being slightly outside also means you get to see some beautiful and quieter corners of the area. We always felt completely safe and truly welcome – it felt like a home away from home. Little tip for other travelers: If you’re into good coffee and/or tattoos, go down the street to “Crocoffee” – amazing coffee and super friendly people. We got 4 tattoos done there in total (including a full sleeve!) for a very good price and great quality. Also check out BeautyByKris for cosmetic treatments and Sesari Spa for a really relaxing and professional massage. Another bonus: if you don’t feel like going out to eat every night, you can use Sami’s kitchen in the afternoon to cook your own meals – super convenient! All in all, we’re incredibly grateful for this stay and will 100% come back. Thank you, Sami – you made this feel like home.

The bathroom could use a little renovation, but honestly, that didn’t bother us at all. This is just something for picky people to consider – for us, everything else made up for it a hundred times over.

Me sentí como en casa en Casa d’Sami. Sami es un amor y me ayudó con todo. Las habitaciones son un poco básicas, pero muy cómodas, y si necesitas algo, Sami no dudará en ayudarte. No está en el centro de Ubud, pero a mí personalmente me encantó la paz y la tranquilidad. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente si quieres vivir una experiencia auténtica e inolvidable.

La reputation de Sami n'est pas usurpee : il est toujours pret a vous aidez pour quoi que ce soit. Il s'est meme leve tot le matin pour nous preparer un petit dejeuner a emporter pour aller au mont Batur.

Il n'y a pas beaucoup de restaurants proches de l'hotel

I really liked the location, I wanted to be in Ubud, but not Ubud central. It had everything ya needed for an extended stay. Sami, made me feel very welcomed and helped me get a scooter, told me good places to eat, and helped arrange my itinerary. The room had air con, a desk, and a nice sized cupboard to store ya clothes and bags. The bed was a little on the hard side, but that seems to be normal in SEA. The bathroom was reasonable there was a shower ( with hot water), toilet, sink, and a shower caddy. Sami, also has a fully stocked outdoor kitchen that you are allowed to use. Next to the kitchen, is a small pool with lawn chairs to relax in , after a long day of exploring it’s a nice place to unwind. The complementary breakfast is a great addition, too. If you are looking for a nice place that’s affordable, Casa de Sami is it.

I would bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper and there was a little bit of mold in the bathrooms but it’s a bathrooms.

We had an amazing stay here. The place has a beautiful pool that is cleaned daily, just like the room, so everything always felt fresh and well-maintained. The AC works perfectly, hot water is always available, and the breakfast is really good. What truly made the experience special was the staff — incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. We initially booked for 2 nights, but ended up extending our stay for 2 months, which says everything. It’s definitely a great deal for the price, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali.

Det var veldig god frokost, hyggelige eiere som tok godt vare på oss. Stedet er utenfor gatestøy og litt utenfor bybildet. Vi gikk til Ubud, en fin spasertur på 5 km for de som liker å gå. Sengen var komfortabel. Vi kommer tilbake.

Šeimininkas buvo labai malonus. Smagu, kad baseinas buvo gilus:). Aplink daug meno galerijų. Bet kada prieinamas geriamas vanduo.

Internetas buvo vidutiniškas. Viskas truputį labiau apleista nei nuotraukose. Aš daug keičiau viešbučių Ubude, tai šiam duočiau vertinimą ne daugiau nei 8.2. Nebuvo šampūno ( nors kitur ir už mažesnę kainą būna). Turbūt svarbus aspektas, kad aplinkinis rajonas nelabai smagus. Jeigu dar pats guesthouse ramus, saugus. Tai vaikščiojimas aplink - tragedija. Tai kvartalas, kuriame vaikščiodama sutikau duagiausiai piktų šunų visame Ubude.

Where to start? We spent here one week, and truly felt like home. Pur room was cleaned every day, the breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality of Sami was unbeatable. Thank you for a great stay in Ubud, and for our long chats. I’ll cherish them forever.

És perfecte per a 2 persones, l'habitació i el lavabo estaven nets. El jardí és molt bonic i et pots banyar a la piscina a l'hora que vulguis si no fas soroll, però el millor de l'estada va ser el Sami, és encantador, prepara l'esmorzar cada matí i si ho vols et recomana llocs per visitar.

Le propriétaire est très sympathique, gentil et au petit soin pour sa clientèle. il nous bien aidé à trouver le méga scooter pour nos 10 prochains jours sur l ile tarif raisonnable. le petit déjeuner est préparé par le patron à la commande et devant vous. Distributeur d eau minérale, coin cuisine, réfrigérateur à disposition....literie correcte, clim et brasseur d air.douche chaude bon debit.

Peut-être un manque d eclairage dans ma piaule à moins qu une ampoule ait grillé ? Pour les aboiements de chiens, je peux pas dire si c est fréquent, ni pourquoi ils aboient, ni à quelle heure ils cont décider d aboyer, en plus ils aboient en Indonésien

La casa es una pasada, en la naturaleza alejado de coches, limpio y muy buena cama. Sin duda lo mejor del alojamiento fue Sami, siempre atento, habla un montón de idiomas, hace un desayuno maravilloso y además nos consiguió moto, nos aconsejó qué visitar y dónde cenar. Incluso nos dió su teléfono personal por si nos pasaba algo con la moto o teníamos dudas. Encontrarlo a él nada más llegar a un país tan diferente ha sido maravilloso y no podemos estarle más agradecidos.

Desde nuestra llegada, todo fue excelente. Conocimos a Sami, quien habla español y fue muy amable en todo momento. Nos facilitó una moto al instante y siempre con una sonrisa. Nos ayudó muchísimo a organizar nuestro viaje y nos hizo sentir como en casa. ¡100% recomendable!

We have been traveling for some months now and this has been one of the best stays we had. The property is very cosy overall. The room was cleaned everyday, and the bed was comfortable. The highlight though was definitely our host. Sami is so kind and helpful that we really felt like friends after we left.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Casa D’Sami in Ubud. The property isn’t a glossy new build, but it’s spacious, full of character, and beautifully arranged around an inner garden with a gorgeous swimming pool where all the rooms face inward. The atmosphere is what really makes this place special — it feels less like a hotel and more like visiting friends or family. The hosts, Sami in particular, are warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, always there when you need them but also respectful of your privacy. As we were traveling with a large group, some evenings we had the entire place to ourselves, which made it feel even more like home. The pool and garden are absolutely stunning — a serene spot to relax after exploring Ubud — and the whole property has a peaceful, welcoming vibe. If you value comfort, charm, and heartfelt hospitality over sleek modernity, this is a perfect choice. We would happily return!

La ubicacion, ya que necesitas una scooter para llegar al centro, si o si. Se oye todo lo de las habitaciones contiguas. También se oye un gallo que al final resulta bastante molesto, desde muy por la mañana.

Lo mejor es Sami y su familia. El trato es excelente y te ayudan en todo lo posible. El mejor trato de todo Bali y encima habla español 😉

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni stupendi con Sami e la sua famiglia. Sami ci tiene veramente molto che i suoi ospiti stiano al meglio e si rende disponibile a soddisfare ogni loro esigenza. Un giorno ci ha fatto da guida facendoci conoscere posti e storie meravigliose. La colazione è buonissima.

Sami is a wonderful Host. We came late in the night arround 11pm and we found him there to assist us. You can also rent bikes there at a very good price. He is really kind and helpful. His niece is also a wonderful person. I definitely recommend this place and I’ll be staying there if I come again to Ubud.

This place was very humble, beautiful and comfortable. As a solo traveler it was an excellent place to rest, work and Sami’s hospitality was exceptional, he made me feel at home and he was always eager to help in any way he can. Overall, whether you’re solo or a couple, you should definetly stay here. The place is clean, great breakfast , great wifi and excellent hospitality. Thank you so much Sami and the other lady that helps around. 🙏

Staff is nice, friendly and helpful. Location is calming , good and nearest to all waterfalls and ATB ride area. Owner also provide rental scooter at very low cost. He was a guide in earlier days as he said, so he also described history of bali and culture of this island.Rooms and Kitchen was very clean.Breakfest is good and all food provided are fresh. Regular cleaning of pool and rooms. We highly recommend to stay here if visited to Ubud.

Cozy, great breakfast, Sami and his daughter were great. I had one of the worst migraines of my life and they were very accommodating and helpful in finding another lodging close by when they ran out of vacancies. Met some of the most enlightened people now friends for life.
