Loved the location so close to everything , the staff couldn't be more helpful and the breakfast omg I've never been fed so well

My room was at the front so it was extremely noisy unfortunately even with windows closed could hear everything

The host Bridget was a real lady, she would do anything for you. She even moved her car to another location so i could park right outside. Made me feel so welcome. Breakfast, my goodness, fruit to start with, yoghurt etc, followed by the lightest pancake I have ever tasted made by Bridget herself and finally a full Irish breakfast. I was stuffed but ate it all s it was so nice. Had a fantastic chat with her. Met her son as well, he was just as nice. A lovely mature, motherly hostess who would do anything you asked within reason of course.. i will definitely be back there again either on my own or with my husband.

The property in itself was quirky & welcoming, but the best thing about staying there was Bridget - the host! She couldn’t have been more accommodating, & went of her way to make you feel at home. And the breakfast was brilliant! Her son Mark, was also helpful & friendly. I’m very happy to recommend Inishross House as a lovely place to stay.

Staying at Inishross House is quite simply an exercise in watching masters of their craft at work. Whilst the building is certainly older compared to a modern hotel, the correct observation to make is that this Inn represents precisely the charm so often missing from these corporate "stays". Breakfast is a multi-course boost against the day's efforts ahead, starting with pancakes fluffier than clouds, and a French press of excellent coffee. In that same dining room, every sideboard is covered in cards from past guests, from all over the world, thanking the hosts for being such a memorable part of their trip. A chorus of those who made the decidedly good decision to book this Inn, instead of the more boring corporate options elsewhere.

I am absolutely reaching here as I enjoyed my stay fully, but if I had to point something out, the shower head in our room had a leak that reduced the pressure a bit. It was still fine though. All I can do is nitpick around a first class stay.

Excellent. Bridget and Mark were exceptional hosts. Breakfasts were exceptional. I plan to stay again and I am recommending this home to anyone looking for a stay in this area.

Could do with a deep clean. But it is a very old building. Maybe not so much carpet.

Amazing breakfast, the room was huge and spotlessly clean. Convenient location, easy to find, nearby parking, and Bridget was a wonderful, friendly hostess. This was a lovely, classic Irish start to my visit.

Warm welcome- what a wonderful host. Offered to help with suitcases up the flights of stairs, gorgeous breakfast setting (5 star), Breakfast food was delicious and catered for our early start. Street parking available overnight.

The stairs were tricky with luggage, but we understand that most accommodations in Ireland have split level floors.

Breakfast was so gorgeous , we were spoiled with fresh homemade bread , pancakes , beautifully presented , irish breakfast was so well cooked with no grease and lovely and warm too 😋

I thought Brigid and her son Mark were very welcoming and interesting. I.feel.like Brigid is someone I would love to chat to for longer. I would definitely stay there again. Other guests seem to have been spoiled also . 🩷

Noreene è la persona più gentile che esista sulla faccia della terra. La cura con cui tiene il B&B non si può descrivere: va provata! C'è un'atmosfera di incredibile autenticità e cortesia per gli ospiti. Addirittura i fiori freschi! E una colazione da favola!

Il bagno della stanza è lievemente piccolino, ma non è un grande problema.

Das Haus und die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Dame des Hauses empfangen. Wir konnten uns aussuchen, ob wir ein Continental Frühstück oder irisches Frühstück haben möchten. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

We loved everything! It was like stepping back in time, with modern conveniences added. Bridget, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. Spent time talking with her and her son during breakfast, lovely people. The room was comfortable, the location is perfect and within walking distance to food/pubs, and Bridget met us at the door almost immediately as we struggled with door ringer. The breakfast was a full hot Irish breakfast and far exceeded our expectations. We also had the fruit, breads and yogurt of a continental breakfasted.

Everything, the very helpful staff, ie Mark and the Ma Helpful advice and warm friendly chats. Irish hospitality as it once was.. the huge freshly cooked breakfast, cooked for you, no dried up buffet food. Great directions when leaving. Ill be back.

Het ontbijt was fantastisch! De hele verzorging van het huis was prima in orde, het ademde sfeer uit. Onze gastvrouw was uitermate behulpzaam, spraakzaam, vriendelijk en gastvrij, zij maakte ons verblijf speciaal.

De grootte en comfort van de badkamer was wat minder. Parkeren kan op straat, een groter parkeerterrein is beschikbaar op loopafstand.

We were met by the owner Bridget, who welcomed us in. She was a pleasure to meet, full of chats about the b&b. Our room was lovely everything we needed, especially when we found out the house was taken iver by a film crew which starred Cilian murphy who stayed in the house while filming the small little things based on a true story Bridget told us all about their stay which was very interesting to hear 😀 our breakfast was four star quality 😀 we will definitely stay here again 😀

Ieren zijn vriendelijke mensen, maar de eigenares spant toch de kroon. Super vriendelijk. Idem voor Mark, de zoon. Als fietser kon mijn fiets in een garage. Ik beschikte over een eigen badkamer. Zeer goed bed. En uiteraard een super ontbijt, zeker voor een BnB. Super!

Full Irish, freshly cooked. Orange juice, brown soda bread, bowl of fresh fruit and a pot of coffee. Owner could not be more friendly and helpful. Will be back again soon.

Wonderfully clean and the best host and hostess we have ever had. Great fun and attentive. Superb facilities and breakfasts were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble.

An absolute hidden gem in the centre of New Ross. Old worldly with so much charm! The hosts were lovely, friendly and chatty and the breakfast was just fantastic! Spent the day showing a pic of it to others!! 😅

Lovely host with her son run the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Cosy room with not the regular "hotel-vibe" but clearly a personal touch. Good shower, enough space to put your shampoo and toothbrush on. Breakfest can be chosen and is fresh, homemade, we loved the irish breakfest. If you like a hotel that's not in a chain and you dont need a spa....this is the place to be.

Entering the room your door openes so that you need to steer away from a little cabinet. Parking can be done closeby, but mind the signs when you can stay in that spot. The center is a bit small, with empty shops in between, but that's not to blame on the hotel.

My husband and son stayed and had a lovely family room, unfortunately it turned out to be a visit because my father in law passed away and they were so welcoming they even let five members the family who came over for the day to attend the funeral to freshen up and even left spare towels out for them. They put on an extra five breakfasts for them as well. So I would like to say thank you very much it was greatly appreciated.

Phantastic reception, room very clean, additional heaters and even electric blanket. Very welcoming family atmosphere. The breakfast was just overwhelming, we didn't eat so well in a long time, can't give enough stars.

In the ensuite bathroom, the taps were loose on the sink. Also, the hot tap had to be run for quite a while before the hot water came through but it is a large building and the heated water may have to travel a long way.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and everything was brilliant! The hotel is in the city centre, just a short walk from the river. The room was clean, cosy and exactly as pictured. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s lovely when people take their work seriously and do it with dedication.

The lady has short window for arrival in check in after that there is no security on duty I was f0rced to 0'pay for room I didn't get into.

The location is central in New Ross, on one of the main streets. The staff, Bridget (and Mark), are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is exceptional - better than any five star hotel. I never go out of my way to book (a property that includes) breakfast, but I am very glad I didn't skip this one - cereal, yoghurts, pancakes, and a big fry up! And in lovely surroundings and beautifully presented too. The room was clean and very spacious. I had a nice, relaxing stay here after some wet weather in New Ross. And the accommodation is a bit famous - as a mural in the town attests to!

The TV is a bit of a mess, unfortunately - really needs to be updated and simplified. I noticed that there was nowhere to hang clothes, no hangers at all, which was a bit surprising... Check in not until 5pm, but this is clearly communicated and when you're a private host, you're entitled to set your own hours and I think Bridget and Mark work hard to provide visitors to New Ross with this lovely accommodation!

It’s a totally unique experience. The place has an old-world but very homely character. I was made feel so welcome from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. I had a very comfortable night’s sleep and the breakfast was prepared with the best ingredients and presented in style.

Had a wonderful stay. The hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable, the entire place was immaculately clean, and the room was cozy and warm with super comfy beds. Breakfast was outstanding, and they were able to accommodate a food allergy. I would recommend this stay to everyone.
