Stanza curatissima e pulita, e super silenziosa, la notte si dorme benissimo. La signora carinissima, è come stare a casa della nonna. Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Abbiamo apprezzato molto la posizione comoda da raggiungere in macchina e la possibilità di parcheggiare la nostra auto. La struttura ci è sembrata ben organizzata e la camera era molto pulita e accogliente. La proprietaria, dolcissima e super disponibile, vedendoci incantati dal luogo, ci ha inoltre assegnato la stanza con vista mare, un gesto che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato. Anche la colazione, con vista mare, è stata davvero piacevole, in un ambiente silenzioso e tranquillo, abbiamo avuto la possibilità di scegliere l'orario e il tipo colazione se dolce o salata. La sera, grazie alla poca illuminazione circostante, era possibile godersi il silenzio e ammirare il cielo stellato, creando un'atmosfera davvero suggestiva. Ci dispiace essere rimasti solo per una notte, ma ci ritorneremo senz'altro, super consigliata.
Onestamente non abbiamo riscontrato aspetti negativi. Avremmo preferito personalmente la possibilità di cenare direttamente presso la struttura, così da poter vivere pienamente l'atmosfera del luogo. Tuttavia la vicinanza di pub e di ristoranti, tra cui il Coast Bar & Bistro, rende comunque comodo trovare un'alternativa per la cena, particolarmente apprezzato se si cena oltre le ore 21.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Die Gastgeberin Margaret ist reizend und sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstück wurde von ihr serviert und schmeckte gut. Die Unterkunft wurde geheizt, was nötig war, da es regnete und kühl war. Es hat direkt vor dem B&B reichlich Parkplätze. Nicht weit vom Meer entfernt. Sehr schöne Landschaft.
Das Bett war schmal für zwei Personen und nicht sehr bequem. Sonst gibt es gar nichts zu meckern.

The room was incredibly small and cramped. My husband didn’t mind it, but I felt very claustrophobic. This B&B was beyond its heyday—it needs some updates. My toast was moldy in the morning, so I didn’t trust the freshness of the breakfast.

(Main bedroom would benefit from mirror for styling hair) Ideal location for walking Croagh Patrick and Bertra beach. Would definitely book again if spending time around that area.
Good apartment if you weren’t spending much time in doors as just a kitchen area with dining table, one relaxing chair. Forgot to leave a note and say hand wash in bathroom empty

Lo peor es que tuvimos que subir escaleras y muy estrechas hasta la habitación e íbamos muy cargados con equipaje de moto.

I went with the eggs. When we checked out, we realized we had forgotten to pay for the hot breakfast, so we reached out afterward to sort it out. Our host was very kind and ended up waiving the charge. This was our first time staying in a farmhouse style accommodation, and we really enjoyed the one night remote getaway into something a bit different.

As a group we booked rooms in the main house B&B and the self service cottage behind the house. The cottage was missing some small necessities such as dishwasher tablets but apart from that it was very clean with modern amenities.

The BnB has old school personal touches and interaction with your host which are rare these days. We stayed for 1 night but could easily have stayed more. A car is recommended for the drive into beautiful Westport. Taxis are available.
