Absolutely everything, from the first warm welcome from our host Anne, to our lovely clean & fresh bedroom which was well fitted with all amenities. A comfortable bed & pillows. A beautiful home. There is a great choice on the breakfast menu & Anne cooked us a delicious breakfast. Anne & Seamus are two of the kindness, friendliest folk you will come to meet. Once you meet them you feel as if you have always known them, they make you so welcome. Glencora is an easy walk in & out of town so is very well located & has ample parking. Anne was very knowledgable about the town & recommended to us places to visit, eat & drink. We would most definitely stay here again & can highly recommend to all travellers.

There is nothing to dislike only that we were not staying longer.

Trotz der Lage an einer Straße, war es ruhig. Die Unterkunft war sauber, die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und es gab einiges in der Umgebung anzuschauen. Bis in den Ort hinein ist es nicht weit.

Das Zimmer war für eine Nacht zu dritt zum übernachten in Ordnung, aber sehr klein.

Una villetta curatissima, camera bellissima, gestori di grandissima gentilezza e disponibilità. Colazione strepitosa preparata dalla proprietaria al momento, da provare le uova con salmone selvaggio affumicato, spettacolari.. Consigliatissimo

The host was incredibly welcoming and kind! She showed us around our rooms and gave us recommendations for what to do and eat around the town. We had the best time. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and prepared with love!

Ann was an excellent host and really looked after me - even giving me tips for my day trip. Breakfast was delicious.

Ruhige Lage, etwas ausserhalb des Ortes. Schönes Zimmer und Badezimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Die Matratze des Doppelbettes war total durchgeritten, man hatte das Gefühl, in einer Hängematte zu sein. Daher schlecht geschlafen, obschon die Lage sehr ruhig ist.

Die Gastgeberin war herzlich und hilfsbereit. Unterkunft war gemütlich. Und das Frühstück war hervorragend.

Good location close to the town

What a beautiful home for us to be welcomed to stay for a couple nights. Ann and Seamus welcomed us to have a pleasant stay in their home, what a wonderful place. Nothing was too much problem for us Ann made sure that you ate a good breakfast . Fantastic hospitality garden and wildlife from w view of our room and breakfast table. Such a super clean room and lovely place to stay.

Parking was a little tight but no problem

We were welcomed by a very friendly host who showed us to our room & showed us the lounge which we were welcome to use. We enjoyed chatting with our host. The B&B was on the edge of town, so quiet; it had ample parking. Our room was of a reasonable size, but had an extra bed in which made it a little cramped. The shower room was clean & compact, but ample for our needs. Breakfast in the morning was delicious - I really enjoyed the home-made porridge bread. The breakfast room overlooked a lovely garden & was very relaxing.

Location very good . Easy walk down to the town.The full Irish breakfast was excellent and there was a myriad of options. The special porridge bread was delicious. Anne and Seamus's advice re places of interest in the area and routes to take was invaluable.

B&B ben curato poche stanze gestito a livello familiare stanze pulite, possibilità di parcheggiare le moto davanti alla struttura, vicino al centro dove ci sono locali per mangiare Colazione abbondante.

Fantastiskt välkomnande av värdinnan som gick igenom rummet med oss. Visade karta över byn och berättade var vi hittade bästa matställena. Otroligt god frukost med hembakt bröd och olika val av tillagad frukost. Kort promenad in till byn på kvällen för god middag, musik och en öl.

Nice place to stay, easy off-street parking, short walk into town.

Ann is a wonderful host. She is deeply committed and incredibly helpful. The room was very clean and beautifully arranged. Breakfast was fantastic. You can park your car in the driveway. I also appreciated that there were information leaflets about the town, as well as a flyer with the weekly lineup of bands playing at the local pub.

Lovely place to stay. Ann (the landlady) was very hospitable and gave good advice on the area and places to eat. The room was very comfortable and there was a sitting room to use. Breakfast was excellent - with a varied choice. If we had not already booked other hotels in advance we would have stayed longer.

A cosy, beautiful little B&B which is super close to the Skibbereen town centre and a great base for other locations in West Cork. The owner Ann is incredibly kind and friendly, and her and husband make a delicious breakfast. I felt like I was staying with relatives!

Anne was so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and bright and had everything we needed. The location for Skiberreen is excellent being only a few minutes walk in to the town. It is an ideal location for touring West Cork, going to Baltimore to get the ferries to the islands.

Very clean rooms. Kind hosts with wonderful breakfasts, especially the homemade bread. Great area close enough to town to walk but far enough to be quiet.

Eigentlich alles, die Vermieter waren sehr nett und bemüht. Alles sehr sauber und gemütlich.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln, außer vielleicht, dass das Zimmer sehr klein war. Aber für eine Nacht kein Problem.

Ann was a lovely host and made an amazing breakfast. The room was cosy and comfortable and perfectly located walking distance from the Main Street of Skibereen. Would highly recommend and go back again someday.

Sehr liebenswerte, fürsorgliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin (sie wollte uns z. B. zum Restaurant fahren, weil es gerade geregnet hatte); fantastisches, frisch zubereitetes Frühstück. Vom Zimmer aus hatten wir eine tolle Aussicht. Die Dusche hatte einen sehr hohen Wasserdruck, das Duschen hat richtig Spaß gemacht (nicht selbstverständlich in Irland). Die Einrichtung war sehr geschmackvoll, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Ein schönes Wohnzimmer steht für die Gäste zur Verfügung. Fußläufig zum Zentrum mit guten Restaurants gelegen, den Empfehlungen sollte man folgen.

Hätte das dritte Bett (das wir nicht gebraucht haben) nicht im Zimmer gestanden, wäre das Zimmer richtig geräumig gewesen, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

L'alloggio è pulito e curato nei dettagli - è offerto persino il soggiorno (impeccabile) come spazio condiviso. Il giardino davanti al B&B è tenuto alla perfezione. La camera è silenziosissima. L'ospite Ann è molto simpatica e affabile, dando il massimo dell'ospitalità in una colazione à la carte ricca di ingredienti squisiti ( primi fra tutti, burro, yogurt e salmone).

Everything. Anne and Shamus were so lovely and welcoming. Anne gave us information on where to eat and places to visit, it was a shame we only stayed 1 night but we were on a road trip so we was visiting many places. The accommodation was perfect and well equipped and comfortable. There was even a separate lounge area for their guests to relax in. Breakfast was ample. My husband had cooked breakfast and I had cereals and toast. Anne even made her own oat bread which was so tasty . All in all it was a lovely stay. The view from their property was awesome even though it was just up from the town centre. Many thanks to Anne and Shamus who we are so glad to have met.

For me and my husband, all we can say is there was nothing that we did not like.

Odlična lokacija, primerna tudi za pohodnike, ki nimajo lastnega prevoza. Lepa, čista in prostorna soba. Gostitelja sta čudovita, prijazna, srčna človeka, ki sta nama sama od sebe ponudila prevoz do avtobusne postaje <3. Izjemno okusen zajtrk!

The B&B is very well located 5min walk from town, very quiet & calm and the hosts are absolutely amazing, super friendly and full of tips on what to do in the area. The breakfast was delicious & plentiful, and the place is very clean. Lough Hyne is a 10min drive away and a must see

We set out on a BnB tour of Ireland looking for that perfect home-felt place and we finally found it at Glencora. We just absolutely love Annie, and she not only welcomed us as guests, she made us feel at home. We arrived late but she was welcoming and got us settled in. After a few days of uncomfortable beds, the bed at Glencora was a great surprise and we got the best night's sleep. Breakfast was the fabulous! And we got that chance to chat with our host and we appreciated that personal touch. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Even though we used the coordinates from booking.com, our GPS did not get us right to the BnB. It got us close, and thankfully not too far away, but we were almost about to turn around when we found it.

Location was perfect, breakfast and room were really nice. Host was super lovely. Would recommend this B&B anytime!

C'est la chambre en Bed and breakfast la plus chère de mon séjour en Irlande de 14 nuits, donc un peu chère pour une personne (90€, alors que j'ai trouvé généralement entre 60 et 75 € le reste du temps pour les mêmes prestations, c'est-à-dire chambre en-suite avec full irish breakfast)

This is a first class B & B with experienced hosts. Very well located in Skibbereen, with off-road private parking and in walkable distance from town centre, also exceptionally quiet. Spacious, ensuited serviced room. Pretty, well-maintained gardens and we had a fantastic view from our room across to rolling hills and fields. Exceptional breakfast, with a menu that we could choose from, everything freshly prepared to order and presented beautifully. And above all, we felt like our lovely hosts Ann and Seamus had become friends by the end of our stay - they are so welcoming and pleasant and will give you as much interaction and as much space and privacy as you require.

Convenient location

Clean and comfortable room in an attractively personalized home. Walking distance to the town center. Ann is an exceptionally welcoming and helpful host, who recommended the wonderful Saturday Farmers Market, great produce and food, with excellent music from local community bands.

Really only a positive experience, but our room, though comfortable, was a little cramped.
