Douche/toilet misschien wat krapjes, maar op zich geen drama. Wel een goede douchestraal.

Wow what a beautiful property! Amazing garden and surroundings and only a short walk to the town centre and shops. Marguerite was the perfect host, always checking if we are ok and she's not forgotten anything! She helped us with our laundry too. We are very grateful for that! She does lace craft and some pieces are on sale there. Just book this place if you're lucky and you see it available!

Eine wunderbare Location in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mit großem Garten und eigenen Parkplätzen. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist wirklich schön. Der Garten riesig. Marguerite, die Gastgeberin, hat sich liebevoll gekümmert. Bevor ich noch richtig das Zimmer bezogen hatte, hat sie für mich im Church Restaurant einen Tisch reserviert, obwohl das Lokal voll war und eigentlich die Küche schon geschlossen hatte. Das von Marguerite gezauberte Omelett war hervorragend. Nochmals ein großes Dankeschön an ihren Mann, der mir geholfen hat, mein Gespann, das ich etwas zu abschüssig geparkt hatte, vom Parkplatz rauszuziehen.

Set on the edge of town with great parking , easy walk to restaurants , town centre etc . However still so peaceful set in beautiful nature . Amazing owners , so so kind and helpful. Home away from home . Clean and cosy . Breakfast was amazing . Everything a family run b and b should be .

Marguerite is the ideal host and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and our stay. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed,immaculate garden and good breakfast.

Die Dusche ist etwas eng und das Mobiliar etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir blieben für eine Nacht und waren insgesamt happy!

Lovely homely B&B Marguerite is a very charming host. She crochets beautiful lace work & sells. Which gives the stay a special experience. Great breakfast too.

Marguerite was very welcoming and even gave us tea and scones on arrival even though we had a kettle in our room. The bedroom was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Marguerite was a lovely host and even recommended Mizen Head as somewhere we should visit. It wasn't on our itinerary but it was one of THE highlights of our trip. You would need a car to get into the town.

Die Unterkunft ist 20 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Die Lage ist sehr ländlich. Der Garten ist wunderschön. Die Gastgeber haben uns herzlich empfangen und bezüglich Abendessen und Ausflüge sehr gut beraten und viele gute Ideen und Tipps gegeben. Das Zimmer war zweckmässig, sauber und es hatte alles was man brauchte. Das Frühstück war wunderbar.

Marguerite was absolutely the perfect host. I travelled with my German girlfriend and couldn't have been prouder of the Irish hospitality that Marguerite showed us. We arrived and she already was giving us recommendations to eat (Church restaurant was amazing). She even gave us a lift into town. She couldn't have done enough! Even on the way out of the door she was offering us homemade bread. Breakfast in the morning was great, so much choice and some amazing homemade things such as stewed apple, brown bread, and scones. Cooked breakfast as well was great. The facilities, breakfast and surrounding areas are all amazing, but Marguerite really turns this into the perfect stay. 10/10.

Superb B&B! Marguerite was a wonderful hostess. She made us feel so welcome. She went out of her way to arrange a table at The Church Resuarant for us. Marguerite est très serviable, bon cordon bleu, et entretien sa maison avec beaucoup de soin. Excellent petit déjeuner. Le gîte de trouve à l'écart de la ville mais à 10mn a pieds en longeant la mer. Je recommande vivement.

The B&B is well situated within walking distance of Skibbereen. The gardens were lovely as was Marguerite! I wish I would have stayed longer.

Marguerite was a great host, pleasant and informative. She offered to give us a lift into town in the evening if we needed one. Her recommendation of places to eat was spot on! Lovely breakfast on both mornings of our stay.

Marguerite and Joe were superb hosts. So friendly and welcoming and with lots of suggestions of things to do near to Skibbereen. The room was spotless and comfortable, with adequate plug sockets, a kettle and some snacks. Breakfast was brilliant - Marguerite’s homemade bread, along with the fried breakfast (including black and white puddings) were particular highlights. Will actively try to stay at Marguerite’s next time we are in West Cork.

Margeurite is a wonderful host, the room and shower room was great and so was the breakfast.

From the moment that I arrived, the host was attentive, immediately showing me my room, and then made me a coffee and provided biscuits and left me to enjoy them and settle in. My ensuite bedroom was clean and tidy and had a lovely view out onto the beautifully manicured back garden, and the shower was lovely and hot and powerful. My host provided the option of storing my bicycle safely in a secure garage and which I accepted. I was also given information about places where I could go locally for my supper, and I took one of these, and I wasn't disappointed. My breakfast the next morning was a fabulous full Irish with scrambled eggs, cereal, toast, lots of freshly brewed coffee, and orange juice. My breakfast was without fault. My host got the balance between respecting my privacy and being attentive just right, and I would have no hesitation in returning here again.

We were very warmly welcomed by Marguerite and felt right at home. The B&B is easy to find, has beautiful garden views and breakfast was amazing! If you have the time, try to go kayaking on Lough Hyne, it is just a few minutes down the road.
