The extremely pleasant accommodation has a great location ( just a short walk into Westport) . The big one is the personal touch given by an outstanding couple , Julian and Rachel , who go out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable! Thankyou so much for making our trip extremely memorable!

Clean, walking distance to the town centre, both Rachel and Julian were very welcoming and hospitable.

Location, breakfast, fluffy towels & parking facilities. The owner was very informative of the area and our ongoing trip along the Wild Atlantic Way!

Bathroom was a bit small and would’ve preferred bottled water instead of a jug.

Een mooie kamer, voorzien van alle comfort. Er werd gedacht aan kleine attenties zoals verse melk bij de koffie. Vriendelijke ontvangst met praktische info. Lekker ontbijt, op maat met verse jam ( zelfgemaakt met vruchten uit de prachtige tuin.) Warme sfeer en leuk contact met de hosts. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

W Five Ferns House spędziliśmy 3 noce. Miejsce jest prowadzone przez wspaniałą rodzinę. Położone w spokojnym, zielonym miejscu, 20 minut pieszo od centrum. Obok domu piękny ogród. Dostępne są przepyszne, świeże śniadania przygotowywane na miejscu, Bardzo polecam!

Julian was friendly and very helpful with his local knowledge. The room was fine and the breakfast excellent. Not as close to the town centre as we thought.

Estàvem allotjats a la caseta del jardí per una família de 4 i va ser ideal. Molt bona acollida per part dels propietaris, i esmorzar molt bo.

The breakfast was outstanding. The hosts are wonderful, so hospitable. The property is beautiful with lovely gardens and a good location to town.

The double room was a bit tight with no room for luggage.

Excellent all round

The five ferns is a wonderful B&B, lovely and pleasant with great views, room was so comfortable and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. It’s a 15 min walk downhill to town and it’s a lovely walk, weather permitting. Julian even dropped us into town when we were leaving for our train home which was so nice. will be back here again when visiting Westport. It’s a lovely quiet area and very peaceful. Can’t fault a thing.

Ganz reizenderes Hausherren-Paar, sprechen auch etwas Deutsch. Neben Italienisch, Französisch, Portugiesisch… einfach toll. Ein hervorragend ausgestattetes, wunderbar gepflegtes Haus in ruhiger Lage, trotzdem nahe zum Zentrum.; mit dem Parkplatz vor der Tür alles sehr easy!

Tout, de l'accueil des propriétaires, à la propreté de la chambre en passant par les tips de Monsieur sur les lieux à visiter dans les environs et pour finir le petit déjeuner excellent.

La struttura e molto bella, la zona è tranquilla e vicino al centro. I proprietari sono stati meravigliosi, ci siamo sentiti a casa. Colazione super top. Consigliatissimo.

lovely family run bed and breakfast

The owners are excellent hosts. Breakfast was fresh and wonderful and the property is beautiful with its garden and pond. The cottage we stayed in was very cozy and comfortable. Would love to come stay again!

May 2026: We loved the quiet location on higher ground just outside the town of Westport. This is a family guest house and we received a very friendly welcome from all the family. Our room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. Really enjoyed our first breakfast together in Ireland. Ample parking space on the premises. There is a lovely view over to Croagh Patrick from this location. We would be keen to stay again if we visit Westport in the future.

Camera spaziosa, con bagno ben attrezzato, proprietari gentilissimi e ottima colazione fatta in casa.

Zeer vriendelijke gastheer. Kamer is niet heel groot maar goed bed, zeer schoon. Koffie/thee faciliteiten. Ligt in een rustige, mooie omgeving. Gastheer geeft je goede tips. Waar we kunnen dineren en welke pubs. We hebben gelopen naar het centrum. Goed te doen. Ontbijt was zeer goed.

Ligt niet in het centrum. Maar dat wisten we.

Davvero tutto. Julian e Rachel sono stati stupendi. La struttura è bellissima ed a pochi minuti dal centro di Westport che è bellissima da vivere. Ci hanno fornito tantissimo consigli ed è stato davvero bellissimo chiacchierare con loro. Sono pieni di attenzioni per gli ospiti e la loro struttura li riflette in maniera incredibile. Pulito e tutto in ordine perfetto. Parlano tantissime lingue tra cui anche l'italiano,quindi, perfetto per chi ha qualche timore dovuto alla comunicazione con loro può sentirsi davvero tranquillo. Davvero una bellissima esperienza. Super consigliato davvero. Un grazie di cuore.

Emplacement idéal à 15 minutes à pied du centre-ville.

Un petit bémol concernant la salle de bain : les WC sont assez proches de la paroi de douche, ce qui rend l’espace un peu étroit et moins confortable à l’usage. C'est un petit point qui pourrait facilement être améliorés. Pour le reste, nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

A beautiful and very well-kept property with a lovely garden. Our room was charming, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. We had a wonderful stay!

Schöne und ruhige Lage oberhalb des quirligen Ortes Westport. Problemlos und sicher parken, lecker frühstücken (sogar mit veganer Option) und in 15 Minuten zu Fuß das Ortszentrum erreichen, was will man mehr. Die Gastgeber sind sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht und geben hilfreiche Tipps.

Modernes Zimmer. Sehr nette Gastgeber mit Tipps rund um die Umgebung. Typisch irisches Frühstück. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend.

Rachel und Julian sind zauberhafte, unglaublich hilfsbereite Gastgeber und geben tolle Tipps für die Umgebung und Westport! Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und das Frühstück hervorragend! Die selbstgebackenen Scones sind ein Gedicht! Ich hatte eine wunderschöne Zeit in Westport und kann das B&B absolut weiterempfehlen!

Es ist eine sehr ruhige Lage. Ca. 15 min Fußweg bis in die Stadt, perfekt für einen entspannten Spaziergang. Die Unterkunft ist klein und richtig gemütlich. Das Beste ist, dass alles bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll durchdacht ist. Das Zimmer war wunderbar mit Blick in den Vorgarten. Ich habe den Blick aus dem Erkerfenster geliebt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und stets freundlich. Sie umsorgen einen und betreiben ihr B&B mit soviel Liebe. Es war wunderschön.

Man hat gehört, wenn ein anderer das Wasser nutzte.

Sehr gepflegte, saubere Unterkunft mit sehr engagierten Besitzern! Man wird sehr herzlich empfangen und erhält neben einem großartigen Frühstück mit verschiedenen Optionen hilfreiche Tipps. Neben guten Restaurantempfehlungen, Routenempfehlungen für die Weiterfahrt bekommt man tolle Hinweise und findet so nette, kleine Besonderheiten, die in keinem Reiseführer stehen. Danke für die Grace O‘Malley Infos! Wir hatten Dank Euch einen wunderbaren Tag. Sehr entspannt ist das Parken direkt am Haus und wenn man ein Auto hat ist man sehr schnell in Westports bei den Pubs.

The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and responsive to our needs and great to chat with. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The garden area was full of flowers. It was a lovely B&B.

It was a very hot day, so the room was hot initially, and the window only opened a little bit. We still managed a good sleep though.

Ich habe im Gartenhaus geschlagen, an sich sehr schön, doch der Wasserdruck ist extrem schlecht und es gibt Schimmel im Bad und im Zimmer.

Mooie kamer met uitzicht en zeer vriendelijke hosts. Ontbijt was uitstekend evenals de voorzieningen.

Geen ov op loopafstand, maar voor een gering bedrag kwamen we met de taxi vlot in het centrum.

Sehr nette Inhaber, gutes Frühstück u.a. mit frischen Omeletts.

Wir hatten leider ein sehr kleines Zimmer und Schwierigkeiten, einen Koffer abzustellen.

It is a little out of town. The owners did offer to arrange a taxi for us. We did walk but it was a longer walk than I expected when I booked.
