The Dales

The B&B was beautiful and was a great location to our family and it was close to Gorey. We will be back. My son loved the chess table. Bernadette was a fantastic host and the breakfast was amazing, she even had gluten free options.

A beautiful and stylish B&B. A lovely and comfortable room with a lot of space. Bernadette is such a warm and welcoming host, we felt at home in this beautiful part of the country surrounded by nature. A perfect weekend of forest and beach walks. Thank you Bernadette. We will come back.

Breakfast was delicious l loved the bedroom so comfy and we had plenty of room bernadette was a lovely host she was so helpful and my grandson loved it she left him so her goats which was a great hit. It was worth the extra 10 klms to stay there

It was a beautiful quiet location overlooking the fields. The room was very large with a very comfortable 4 poster bed. The host Bernadette was very friendly and even offered to take us to the local pub where we enjoyed a few drinks. The breakfast was superb and plenty of it to set us up for the day we had ahead.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about this property.

We were welcomed by Bernadette in a lovely and warm way. She is a nice and beautiful person, she prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. We will definitely be back. The rooms are gorgeous, the decorations of the house are perfectly chosen.

Lovely place, lovely owners, lovely pets and lovely food. Honestly 10/10 stayed because of a work trip but am looking at going back and staying there on holiday for a week or long weekend.

The gravel on the drive is very deep, just something to keep in mind if in a low vehicle or motorbike.

Home from home very friendly

We loved our bedroom and sitting area furnished with antiques including a four poster king-sized bed. Plus we appreciated the kettle with tea and coffee. Our hostess was warm, friendly and ready to help. She provided delicious breakfasts with special dietary requests considered. Bella was a sweet, lovable greeter (after her owner first checking with us if we like dogs) - a very well behaved teddy bear of a dog!

Bernadette is the warmest and loveliest host. As soon as we arrived she greeted us with smoothies, fresh milk and her gorgeous doggy Bella. The bedrooms are beautiful and feel so grand we woke up to a gorgeous sunrise over the green hills and her cute billy goats. The breakfast was divine - perfect Irish cooked breakfast (including local grown tomatoes!), yoghurt and fruit compote, loads of fruit, toast.. Just a dream of a stay, so many details taken care of. The reviews are all right, this place is 11/10. Thank you so much for having us.

The lady of the house was so welcoming and friendly. Bernadette was the perfect host. The bedroom was big and spacious. Walk in wardrobe for your luggage. Big bathroom with freestanding tub (my daughter loved this) three big beds. Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile 😃 cant say enough about this stay. A must book

Dimora principesca, immersa nel verde. Colazione ricchissima, la gentilezza deliziosa di Bernadette e la sua impareggiabile colazione con smoothies e succo preparati da lei al momento, frutta esotica. Noi non amiamo la colazione irlandese, altrimenti avrebbe preparato anche quella. E il pub Katie di Gorey è stato il migliore provato in Irlanda.

Everything! Rooms are big and comfortable. Wonderfully home-cooked breakfast! We were made to feel so at home by the host; she was wonderful and so good with our family. Thank you so much for the great stay.

The amazing host Bernadette explained everything to us on arrival. Superiorly quiet location with magnificent views. Antique furniture makes this house very special.

Myself and my 3 sisters stayed here recently and what a gem of a place it was. The host, Bernadette, was superb. The room was beautiful and beds really comfy. The breakfast was the best I have ever had, lovely compot to start with a variety of fresh fruit, followed by a delicious cooked breakfast. We will definitely be back for visit!!!

Bernadette was a fantastic host. We made a mistake with GPS and arrived really late at night. She had us all set up with smoothies for 3. The location is so quiet and calm away from the hustle. An incredible breakfast spread. She's very accommodating and gave us her time to talk. We're on a long trip and it was a great reset for us on day one in Ireland. The dog & cat charmed us, as we missed ours.

Booking .com doesn't have the proper address in it's system. Best it to Google it, and gos that way. The drive isn't for the faint of heart, true old school Irish roads. But i was fine.

Bernadette the owner is very friendly and well organised. Everything is well maintained and in a great condition. Nice quiet place and a good atmosphere around. We liked and enjoyed every detail in the house.

We were travelling for work and arrived late and we were greeted by the lovely Bernadette. Such a lovely warm welcome we received and Bernadette had also went to the trouble to make us a delicious strawberry smoothy, such a lovely touch. Our room was huge with a beautiful four poster bed and a beautiful view over the countryside. The facilities were spotless and we had a very comfortable nights stay. Breakfast was wonderful, beautiful fresh fruit, homemade rhubarb yogurt and delicious cooked breakfast. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Bernadette, we will definitely be back :):)

Beautiful home and location with antique furniture and decor, along with a modern bath and shower. The goats were an unexpected plus!

You must be cautious when walking on the road due to its winding nature, so it's best to drive if you're going to another location for meals or outings.

Loved the large house with antique furniture. The ensuite was larger than most, with both a bath and shower.

Breakfast was fantastic! You won't get this in the Netherlands.

The light above the mirror in the bathroom could have been better - difficult to shave.

A great first night in Ireland! Bella, the dog, was a delight! Bernadette was delightful!

We visited for a family wedding nearby and Bernadette was very welcoming, extremely helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond our usual B&B experiences. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable (ideal for 2 adults and 2 children) and the location was beautiful, serene and relaxing. The breakfast was superb, fresh fruit, yoghurt and full irish - all freshly prepared and served with a smile. We really appreciated the decor throughout the whole house, the boys were very impressed with the antique furniture, grandfather clocks and chess boards, and Bella the dog! Highy recommend- we will be back!

This accommodation is somewhat remote, in the middle of nature. The rooms were huge and very stylishly furnished. The view from the window was directly onto a green landscape. The area is very well suited for excursions into nature. The house is very large and beautiful. The landlords are super friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared and lovingly served by Bernadette. The selection is very good. Wi-Fi worked very well and it was very quiet at night. It was an absolutely relaxing stay there. A perfect end to my vacation in Ireland. I will miss the country and its people.

Excellent property, secure and plenty of parking. The entrance to the home is so grand and welcoming, you feel like you are walking into a grand mansion in the country. Beautifully appointed, and host Bernadette makes you feel comfortable right away and gives just the right amount of attention without it being too much. Some lovely touches in the room like fresh flowers and a yummy homemade strawberry smoothie as a welcome drink. Everything was there to make my stay an extra special treat, a comfy bed and the bathroom in my room was like being in a Spa, with a spacious power shower and huge soaking tub. I was in heaven! And then to cap at all, Bernadette provided a custom order breakfast, with organic fruits and yoghurt as well as a yummy cooked breakfast and delicious coffee. The location is slightly off the beaten track, but well worth the extra drive to stay there as this is a unique property in the Irish countryside with great views and even resident goats and wild rabbits on the lawn to add to the gorgeous views from the bedroom windows.

Great value for a luxury stay in a beautiful country residence set deep in the Wicklow/ Wexford hills. The room was huge and immaculately clean. The hosts made me feel like a long lost family member while affording me complete privacy to enjoy my stay in the peaceful surroundings. I will return.

Nice place with a huge bedroom and bathroom. Bernadette is a lovely host who goes out of her way to help her guests. She makes a prety good breakfast too! Cute animals living on the property are a nice bonus

It is a little out of the way but Gorey and the surrounding area are very accessible and - following hosts recommendation - spent a lovely evening in town.

The location is a little out of the way. The only downfall of the stay was the shower, where the water leaked out of the glass panels, and the hot water ran out very quickly(there were three people but even hours after the first person’s bath there was no hot water what so ever).

The entire experience was amazing. The property is beautiful and green with wonderful views, and the hospitality could not have been better. Every morning the breakfast was prepared perfectly. I flew in for a wedding so my comings and goings were slightly erratic and the host was still happy to make me an elaborate breakfast. I would recommend The Dales to anyone staying in the area!
