Clean and good location.

Didn't have a fridge.

Check in was very easy. Host was very friendly. Room was fine for our purposes, although we didn’t avail of meals due to timing and duration of stay. Overall, as expected and a relaxing, if brief, stay.

We were confirmed with breakfast included but upon arrival we were told that they were selling the property and they would not be providing breakfast. There wasn’t even coffee or tea provided.

It’s a b&b but they didn’t do breakfast?!? 180euro for a night for no breakfast is not good value. If I had known i would have booked a botel package. Odd because I got an email over booking.com 2 days before from the owner telling me breakfast was until 9:30 and then when we got there we were told no breakfast.

The Accommodations were perfect, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was incredible,nutritious and very satisfying. The owners wonderful hosts, the nicest people. I highly recommend this B&B.

The setting was beautiful. Room clean and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer. Owners were delightful and very easy to chat with. Breakfast was delicious. Hope to return on my next trip to Ireland.

This was a lovely night to stay for us. We appreciated the grounds, the food and the friendly staff! We walked to town for supper after we got checked in. We would stay again for sure and loved your black dog.

Got bitten by guest house owners dog, when going to dinner Sunday 3rd August.. Needed visit to doctor and got antibiotics. No support from owner, just 'sorry' . Home lovely place, no Irish breakfast which was disappointing. Would like to warn people about dog which.. 'is usually inside'.

The breakfast options

The property had a very homely and welcoming feel, with lovely art and craft pieces that added a personal touch. The furniture was tasteful and complemented the cosy atmosphere. It was a very relaxing space overall, and the bedroom itself was a good size—comfortable and well laid out. The house was surrounded by a beautiful, spacious garden, which was especially lovely to sit in during the evening. You could hear the cows lowing in the distance, adding to the peaceful, rural charm. I’d definitely revisit in future, lovely host who was very attentive and engaging, highly recommend.

We stayed with our lovely hosts Jo and Jim at their beautiful B&B. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Lovely Jo showed us to our room and it really did exceed expectations. Breakfast was delicious with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and fresh coffee etc. Jo and Jim went over and beyond to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back. There was a warm, relaxed welcome. The room was excellent, spacious with a good sized ensuite with separate bath an shower. The house was set in beautiful gardens.

An excellent B&B. Lovely surroundings, very comfortable and lovely staff. We would highly recommend staying . Very convenient and not far from the main road yet quiet. Near shops in Gorey and 15 minutes drive from beautiful beaches. Ice and cosy seating area overlooking the well kept garden.

The owners are very nice and happy to chat and help with whatever you need. The room was comfy, clean and had everything I needed.

No complaints.

We're local and made way for loads of kids at Easter. This was the ideal solution. Quiet, very local, allowing us to visit kids and escape to peace when required

It was top class, very clean. The staff and owners were extremely pleasant and obliging. No complaints.

The owner is very hard working and always looks out for the guests. They have 2 beautiful dogs and a massive garden with lots of space. The area is a bit secluded, which makes it nice and quiet.

Jo was so welcoming. Offering us a lift to our event. Looking after us on check out day with a quick cup of tea for the road. The room was large bright and airy. The shower was lovely.

Myself and my husband stayed in this lovely bed and breakfast for 3 nights..everything was perfect..located just outside gorey..nice big bright bedroom, comfortable bed ,clean towels and nice powerful shower..Breakfast was very tasty..(no fry),but more than enough to satisfy everyone..The granola pot was so yummy..The owners Jo and Jim were so welcoming and helpful. No problem with taxi's..I'd highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Good value for money as well.

Amazing B&B. Very comfortable clean and big rooms. Very quiet...we all slept so well. Breakfast is lovely...salmon and scrambled eggs and home made porridge bread was scrumptious. Lounge is very tastefully decorated and Jo the host is simply amazing. Her daughter who is a hairdresser squeezed me in for a do-over for a wedding I was attending. Great location for easy access to the whole area. We will all def be returning. Pat Fiona and Helen

Great B&B. Clean fresh and modern. Great breakfast and the hosts were superb. Would recommend it to anyone.

I hate to tell the rest of the world about this wonderful B&B Hotel. But Jo deserves to have her praises sung. We were greeted 1st by the loveliest dog who met us at the car and led us to Reception. Jo was so welcoming and helpful,even suggesting to change our room when she saw the stairs would be difficult. The rooms are spotless and roomy. Our beds, 2 queen beds, were super comfy with lots of pillows. The shower, instant hot water type, was wonderful with excellent water pressure. But the breakfast!!!!! Oh my! Cereals home made breads, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. It was all delicious. She even had gotten in Gluten-free bread and almond milk because of my allergies. We can't say enough good things about our stay and Jo. The only bad thing is that we don't know when we can get back for another stay. If you are anywhere near Gorey, this is THE best place to spend the night. 12/10

But further out of Gorey than I would have liked

Nice house, nice grounds and nice dogs, ample parking, very clean. Location was good (car / taxi defo needed ). The interior bedrooms looked a lot better than the one we got.

The bedroom was large but furnishings very basic and not luxury as advertised. Also, the room was detached from the main dwelling and had another room with wooden flooring above and the tenant above woke us at about 11.30pm, 4am and 7.30 am walking around. Unacceptable as impossible to properly sleep. View from the room shocking. See photos . Breakfast was disappointing and no Full Irish Breakfast offered. Owner not receptive to feedback and did not seem to understand or accept that we had a terrible nights sleep, or frankly non-sleep. The photos show the view from the bedroom. Other basics like no towel hooks in bathroom, no tray for soap/ shampoo in shower …again not luxury - but basic.

The breakfast was lovely. No shortage of cereals/ bread/tea/coffee and some lovely porridge bread. Scrambled egg and salmon lovely and the granola bowl fab 👌lovely atmosphere in the breakfast room 🙃 Super location 5mins drive to Gorey town.

Great accommodation with great hosts

Hosts were friendly and very helpful, had a great nights sleep as bed and pillows were very comfortable. The homemade porridge bread was very tasty. Will 100% stay again.

A beautiful country house in its own grounds. A very warm welcome by the team and super helpful. I loved the breakfast!

We liked that the property was set back from the main road in its own grounds. It was very peaceful and was well placed to visit other places in the area.

Don't ever go to this place. They are the rudest people I have ever met in my life. I booked to stay on 17th July and had confirmed on the 11th July. When we got there after ringing the doorbell for 15 minutes with my 88 year old mother sitting on the step I finally called Jo on the phone to be told she was in Dublin at a hospital appointment with her son and that her husband had gone for a walk and should be back soon. When I asked her was she not expecting us she told me that she could not be all things to everybody and that I wasn't staying with her and to go and find somehwere else to stay. When her husband arrived back as we were trying to get all our stuff back into the car again, he was just as rude as her. Horrible people don't ever book to stay there.

Everything, I drove through a railway bridge hence the name into a beautiful driveway reception area then up a beautiful driveway with the greenest lawn a cool little lawn mowing machine busy doing his thing,clear signage showing me where to park. I park and this lovely gentleman appears to help me with my luggage. He greats me and insists on taking my bags to my room. I’m upstairs in a large beautifully decorated room. I open up my bags get out what in need and scamper outside. The garden is large lovely outdoor area to sit. A sweet elderly dog who looks at me as if to say you can pat me. I sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. This place is perfect.

Friendly staff, upgraded our room at no extra cost on arrival as a bigger one had come available. Everyone was friendly and chatty. The town is a 10 minute walk or taxis were available minutes after calling. Would definitely stay again.

Great trip to Co. Wexford, lovely stay again!

We were shocked at how big the premises are. With fabulous drive and gardens. We had a lovely labrador meet us in the car park. Joe and her husband (the slave), as she calls him 😂 were just so welcoming and so friendly. We stayed in the superior room.. omg it was amazing..we, we can't wait to go back.
