Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Très bon séjour à Kenmare au Laburnum House. Très bon accueil. La maison est dans un bel esprit B&B, à proximité du centre-ville à pieds. La chambre est confortable et dispose de tout l'équipement nécessaire. Le petit déjeuner est varié et de qualité. Un endroit à recommander sans hésitation!

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Mai incontrate persone così ospitali e gentili dei proprietari! La loro accoglienza e la loro disponibilità sono veramente lodevoli. Le camere sono pulite, confortevoli e comode. La colazione è buonissima e servita con amore. L’abbraccio finale di saluto ci ha conmosso. Consigliamo a tutti questo piccolo paradiso a Krnmare! Non vediamo l’ora di tornarci!

Ray was particularly helpful in assisting us in tracking down some luggage delayed via Aer Lingus. The room is spacious with a well equipped bathroom. The breakfast includes a wide variety of cereals, fruit, etc, plus several cooked options. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend staying here. Cheers Karen and Rick

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Super nette Gastgeber, ein hübsches sauberes Haus mit Parkplatz, gutes Frühstück. Ruhig und am Stadtrand mit Blick auf Felder und tolle Blumen und Vögel. Für uns ideal, da wir in ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß im Zenzrum waren und nicht due Lautstärke oder Parkplatzprobleme dort hatten.
Alles prima, keine Beanstandungen.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026We had a great time at Laburnum B&B! The B&B is perfectly located at the beginning of the Ring of Kerry, close to Killarney National Park as well as Beara Peninsula. The town centre is just a short walk away with lots of dinner options. Our hosts were very accommodating, had great recommendations and provided a good continental / Irish breakfast.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laburnum B&B in Kenmare. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. Laburnum is also ideally located for exploring this beautiful part of County Kerry and for visiting Derrynane House, the former home of the great Irish statesman and national hero Daniel O’Connell. With its warm hospitality, excellent breakfast and carefully tended garden, Laburnum is a wonderful place to stay. We would happily stay here again.

The B&B is located in a very quiet area but is still in a perfect location—just a short, easy walk into the town centre. Our room was large, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, featuring an absolutely amazing bathroom where everything was perfectly functional. Safe, off-street parking was a great bonus, and the breakfast in the morning was incredibly tasty. A flawless stay!

Wir hatten das kleine Zimmer gebucht, aber dennoch das größere bekommen. Das sehr gute und schmackhafte Frühstück wurde jeden Tag auf Bestellung frisch zubereitet.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Meine liebste Unterkunft währen der 10-tägigen Irlandreise! Das ganze B&B ist blitzesauber und total nett eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr, sehr nett und das Frühstück super. In Kenmare selbst hat man zahlreiche Möglichkeiten abends essen zu gehen. Die Lage ist perfekt zum Erkunden des Ring of Kerry, von Killarny oder Bearna.

Quiet room - small double - at the back. Easy short walk into town. Great location. Kenmare is an attractive town with a good selection of pubs and restaurants. A most enjoyable stay and very good value.

Petit déjeuner "royal" et Kenmare est une petite ville très sympa où il est facile d'aller passer un moment, à pied ou en voiture avec un parking facile d'accès. Un séjour très agréable !

We spent 2 nights here with hosts Danielle and Raymond who do a superb job running the B&B. The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean and appeared to be recently renovated with very modern fixtures and lighting. The breakfasts offered a wide range of choices, and they were very delicious. This was a great location for us to visit Kenmare and to venture out for a day exploring the Beara Peninsula. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who appreciates a good B&B with personable hosts.
