Everything was perfect, even before checking in we were guided through this helped our travel even more easier, map of the locality, other services offered by La Maison, Radha made it easier for us to plan our days to travel around. Very secure and convenient stay.

10/10 stay at La Maison Radha. It has the comfort and safe, homely feel of a private apartment, yet with the service and care of a hotel. The private bathroom was excellent, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the reverse osmosis water filter was a great touch. We also loved the beautiful shaded terrace with lovely plants, which made the whole place feel peaceful and welcoming. Sam was especially helpful, sharing great tips on what to do in two days in Pondicherry along with a guided map, which made exploring so much easier. The cloakroom facility was also very useful. Exceptional value and a place we would happily stay at again.

We stayed here already twice. In my opinion the best option for value in Pondicherry La Maison Radha is exceptional value, with a safe and homely feel, hotel-level service, a well-equipped kitchen, private bathroom, RO water filter, lovely shaded terrace, helpful local tips from Sam, and a very useful cloakroom.

Un séjour absolument exceptionnel ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une gentillesse rare par un personnel d’une qualité remarquable. Toujours souriants, disponibles et d’une patience exemplaire, ils ont largement contribué à rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Mention spéciale pour le fait qu’ils parlent français, ce qui est un vrai plus et facilite énormément les échanges. L’établissement est d’une propreté irréprochable, les chambres sont spacieuses, parfaitement équipées, très confortables et climatisées — un vrai cocon après une journée de découverte. On s’y sent immédiatement bien. Le petit déjeuner est également un gros point fort : copieux, varié, avec la possibilité de choisir entre un petit déjeuner continental ou indien, tous deux excellents. Le personnel est toujours de très bon conseil pour les visites, les déplacements ou les bonnes adresses, et prend le temps de répondre à toutes les questions avec beaucoup de bienveillance. Autre atout majeur : l’hôtel est idéalement situé, à proximité de la gare, ce qui le rend extrêmement pratique pour les déplacements. Mention spéciale à Sam ainsi qu’au patron pour leur accueil, leur professionnalisme et leur disponibilité exemplaire. En résumé : un hôtel qui coche absolument toutes les cases. Confort, propreté, service irréprochable et atmosphère chaleureuse… Une adresse que je recommande les yeux fermés !

Tolles Hotel! Wir waren begeistert und wurden total überrascht. Ein besseres Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis haben wir auf unserer einjährigen Weltreise nicht bekommen. Die Zimmer waren nicht groß, aber dafür sehr sauber. Es gab eine wunderschöne gepflegte Dachterrasse. Auch die Gemeinschaftsräume (u.a. Küche) wurden täglich gereinigt und waren sehr einladend. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Nous avons tout aimé de notre séjour ! Deux chambres testées très confortables toutes les deux, guesthouse idéalement placée dans Pondichery, le propriétaire accueillant et de bon conseil pour la ville, et Sam aux petits oignons pour répondre à toutes nos questions et organiser tout ce dont nous avions besoin ! On pensait rester deux nuits, ce fut 4 ! Franchement le meilleur endroit de notre séjour de 3 semaines en Inde du Sud.

Sam et Ravi parlent trop bien français, on avait l’impression d’être à la maison ;-)

J'ai adoré les 8 jours et 8 nuits de mon séjour à ce charmant et confortable hôtel. Celui-ci se situe dans le "vrai" Pondicherry, là où vivent et travaillent les citoyens de cette vaste ville aussi intéressante au plan culturel, social qu'historique, tout en étant près des lieux touristiques et de la mer. Mr. Sam de même que son patron Mr. Ravi font l'impossible pour répondre à chacun des besoins de leurs clients. J'habiterai de nouveau à la Maison Radha, quand je reviendrai dans cette remarquable région de l' 🇮🇳 I loved my 8 days and 8 nights at this charming and comfortable hotel. It's located in the "real" Pondicherry, where live and work the citizens of this vast town, culturally, socially, and historically interesting as it is, while also being close to tourist attractions and the sea. Mr. Sam and his boss, Mr. Ravi, go above and beyond to meet every need of their guests. I will definitely stay at Radha House again when I return to this remarkable region of 🇮🇳

Nice place, in side street so quiet. Owner very helpful, lot of common spaces - kitchen, fridge, roof terrace, even see-saw. Good WiFi. Good location, basically the city center, 10 min walk to the beach. Rooms are quite basic and rather small (mine at least), but have everything needed. A/C working and quiet. In general, good price to quality ratio.

It was a very good property in a prime location, we were able to walk to almost all places. The room was neat and clean and the staff was very humble and he explained about tourist places.

Nous y avons passe 3 nuits. L'accueil est très complet. Nous avions une chambre à l'arrière donc très calme ce qui est appréciable pour l'Inde mais du coup sans vue dès quelques ouvertures. Nous avons profité de la terrasse pour notre petit déjeuner. Sam parle le français et propose des transferts avec visite. Une bonne adresse

Une superbe adresse à pondicherry. L endroit est juste exceptionnel. Très bien situé, au cœur de la ville mais au calme. Il y a une cuisine commune très propre et très bien équipée. Il y a aussi le rooftop qui permet les rencontres. Et bien sûr il y a ravi et sam qui feront tout pour vous rendre la vie la plus facile et agréable possible.

Ein sehr nettes Hotel abseits vom Haupttrubel, trotzdem sehr zentral. Die Mitarbeitenden waren extrem hilfsbereit, das Zimmer war für den Preis perfekt. Alles sehr sauber, gutes Frühstück.

Ravi and Sam were so wonderfully welcoming, attentive and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Lovely breakfasts in the shared kitchen. Super interesting neighbourhood. I loved staying there.

Tout est conçu pour rendre le séjour agréable. Le taxi est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport et nous a conduit sans encombres. Sam a répondu à toute nos demandes. La localisation permet d'accéder aux différents points d'intérêts. Les différents accessoires de cuisine permettent de se sentir chez soi.

What truly stood out was the Sam & Ravi garu extremely polite, warm, and caring, treating guests just like family. This kind of hospitality is rare. Great option outside the White Town area. Located in a quiet lane off a main road that is full of restaurants, street food etc. Good sized rooms with fans and aircon. Staff very helpful and when you arrive give you a map that includes all the sites, plus recommendations for restaurants, cafes and even info on tuk tuk prices. Helped us organise a trip to Auroville.

Nothing to not like. If you want a quiet room ask for one away from the street as Indian drivers use their horns a lot!

J’ai été complètement conquise par la Maison Rhada, je m’y suis sentie comme chez moi ! L’emplacement est idéal, à proximité de la ville blanche, au calme. Le gros plus est indéniablement le roof top. Sam, à la réception, est une personne très prévenante et sachant rendre service avec le sourire.

True to its concept, this homestay is indeed home away from home. The location is just two minutes away from the Railway station in auto. All the good restaurants and whitetown are nearby. What truly sets this homestay apart is the cordial behaviour of Mr. Sam and Mr. Ravi, who are always eager to help the visitors and make them at ease. We stayed in the Dancing horse room for 3 days. This room has a really big bathroom. It was on the first floor with shared hall, dining and kitchen. Everything was squeaky clean and aesthetically decorated. AC was working fine and the water pressure is good in the bathroom. Necessary furnitures are provided. I was amazed to see the rack for keeping clothes alongwith hanger. The kitchen has R.O water, induction, kettle, toaster, coffee maker alongwith all the necessary utensils. The hall has a bookshelf with ample good books. There is a terrace where one can relax and chill. Clothline for drying clothes are also provided in the terrace. On the day of arrival, we were given a map of Pondicherry with all the tourist places, eateries, markets and important places marked. The restaurant recommendations are top notch be it Kamatchi, Cafe Ecstasy or French bakeries. Scooty rental facility is also available here which we availed. Everything was smooth and full of good vibes and positivity. We had such a comfortable stay there. I would definitely stay here again whenever I visit Pondicherry. 10/10 for everything. All in all, a very clean, comfortable, safe and homely place to stay.

Couldn't find any flaws.

Wspaniałe miejsce, z różnymi udogodnieniami. Do dyspozycji mieliśmy duży pokój z aneksem kuchennym i osobnym pokojem dziennym. Była dostępna również wspólna kuchnia na piętrze oraz taras. Miejsce bardzo czyste i zadbane. Sam był bardzo pomocny i przyjazny. Jedno z najlepszych miejsc w jakim byliśmy w Indiach.

L’excellent rapport qualité/prix (chambre agréable et fraîche) et des échanges faciles car ils parlent bien français. Ils proposent également d’autres services (voir leur site) comme venir vous chercher à l’aéroport, faire appel à un chauffeur ou construire un circuit avec vous. Vous pouvez 100% leur faire confiance et pour un prix intéressant.

The host and his staff showed an extraordinary attitude. Ravi and Sam are fantastic, they helped us with everything, thanks agian here too! We received a map marked with all the important information and recommendations, e.g. restaurant, tours. The homestay offers many useful services that are worth using.

Clean room, with all the amenities you need. Center of the town close to all walkable sites. One request, addition of mosquito repellants to the rooms will be a great addition and make the stay comfy.

The rooms were cleaned every 2 days and the bedding was changed every 2 days. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They were also helpful in their suggestions.

We can't do much cooking. We must buy food from outside. But breakfast is provided as an option.

A wonderful welcome with great local advice. All the restaurants we tried they suggested were suoerbe, local and non touristy. Great having the use of the fridge and a kettle. Location ideal for us.

Air con is loud.

Staying in La Maison Radha was an absolute pleasure. Ravi was very responsive even before I arrived and helped me out with the logistics to reach the house. I had the Elephant room and it was fabulous, colorful and fun. There is space to move aound (and even to practice yoga) and the place is well equipped with a kitchen where you can cook, a fridge if you need storage and you can use all he common spaces which are really nice. I had to leave really late my last day, and they extended my checkout by paying half day. The terrace if beautiful and the situation of the house is ideal to explore Pondy, as it's right in the center. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, public transport and everything you may need. They provide you with a very comprehensive map with suggestions (very good ones!) and they take care of you 100%. I absolutely loved everything about it!

I couldn't have found anything better. People come to Pondicherry to take a break from India, which is always very challenging. And a TRULY comfortable accommodation is essential during this break. You are on a quiet, well-kept street, very very close to White Town and the seaside promenade, but still in the “Indian part” of the city, which I think is an excellent compromise for understanding this multifaceted city. The great value of La Maison Radha starts with the smile and courtesy of the talented Sam, who will take care of you, well aware of a customer's needs (his detailed map of the city is a real touch of class and very useful!). This guesthouse, EXTREMELY clean and welcoming, offers a fully equipped communal kitchen with a spacious dining room and well-kept rooms with private bathrooms (a wonderful scent greeted me when I opened the door; the cleaning team, whom I met in the morning, is very accurate, as well as smiling). Extremely comfortable bed, a little wardrobe, a desk, and a very spacious clothes rack. Impeccable sheets and towels. Excellent ceiling fan. Mosquito nets on the windows. Spacious bathroom (and not dilapidated for once), hot water. Wi-Fi worked well. A small security box for each room, in the common area, already equipped with a lock. Laundry available. Roof terrace at your disposal, which is nice in the evening. And from here you can reach anywhere on foot (I even walked from the bus station when I arrive, avoiding the usual crowd of tuk tuk drivers, was very easy and fast). Everything you need is nearby. You are in a very lively area (but you won't hear any noise once you're home) with all kinds of restaurants, shops, as well as large stores, two fresh markets, one of which is very close and quiet (hidden under the clock tower), pharmacies, and even liquor stores if you want (and not the usual Indian ones, which are shady and hidden away; in Pondicherry, it's different!). Totally recommended!!

Très bon accueil par Sam qui fait l'effort de parler français ( tout comme le propriétaire ). Il m'a remis 1 plan très détaillé de Pondichery avec toutes ses bonnes adresses , super . Très jolie maison , propreté irréprochable. Une terrasse bien agréable. Je ne mets pas 10 à cause du lavabo de la salle bain trop petit et du manque de place pour les bagages dans la chambre "Parrot" ( j étais seule donc ça allait mais à 2, compliqué) Sinon une très bonne adresse.

Le lavabo de la salle de bain extrêmement petit, en fait il s'agit plutôt d' un lave-main. Chambre exiguë pour poser les gros bagages . Mettre quelques cintres supplémentaires.

Sam è stato gentile e disponibile, la struttura è molto accogliente con una terrazza favolosa. Possibilità anche di lavanderia, di cucinare e trascorrere più giorni. La colazione è a scelta continental o Indiana. C'è una fornita libreria anche con libri italiani. La città è assolutamente da visitare con la promenade Beach.

Très jolie chambre "Music" avec petite terrasse privée adjacente avec hamac 1 table et 2 chaises. Le logement est en plein centre ville et pourtant dans une petite rue calme en retrait..Superbe accueil de Sam, qui parle tres bien français et qui nous a tout expliqué en nous fournissant un plan de Pondichéry (lieux à voir, restos conseillés etc). La Maison Radha propose beaucoup de choses sur place : cours de yoga privé (j'ai testé c était génial), location auto-richaw, change cash, petit dej et encore plein de choses que j ai oublié! Tout était clean, le personnel est top. Roof top et espaces communs accessibles. Sur les murs de l'établissement, beaucoup de belles peintures Je recommande cet endroit pour être tombée déjà sur 2 hôtels dont les photos ne correspondaient pas. Là, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, c est encore mieux sur place!
