Brilliant...I'm sat here in the robe that was provided after a hot shower after a day on my motorbike drinking a beer...no shops about the closest wads in Deventer..if some information of the closest shop, restaurants or bar that would be great 😄🏍️

Big bedrooms and comfortable beds

Everything was spread on 3 floors. A lot of steps to take your bags up and 2 stories to get to the bathroom and toilet.

Great location, easy walk to centre of town. Good size rooms and suited our needs.

Excellent location in centre of town

Two large, comfortable bedrooms at the top of the house. Use of a separate, private bathroom with towels and toiletries provided. Shared use of a beautifully clean and well equipped kitchen. Space much larger than expected. Free parking is just a 5 min walk away. Centre of Ypres just 10 min away. Great communication and reception from the host. We would definitely use again!

Not a 'dislike' but a note that the steps inside the apartment are very steep and the bathroom/kitchen are on a different floor from the bedrooms..

Vriendelijkheid van de eigenares. Propere kamers en badkamer. Keuken met voldoende voorzieningen. Ruime kamers.

Omdat we 2 slaapkamers hadden, moesten we de badkamer niet delen. Anders zou ik dit niet gekozen hebben moesten wij een badkamer met andere gasten delen. Detail, maar de tv kon je niet stiller zetten.

Met een gezin dat er genoeg kamers zijn dat er meer dan 1 is ipv iedereen op 1 kamer

It was a really nice place,clean rooms, Kitchen and bath. It's near free car parking or a two hours day time car park in front of place. Everything was near the place like restaurants,Market and central. It really felt like home.

Niet echt ingericht op glutenvrij, dat geld voor veel in Frankrijk.

Great location. Really clean. Welcoming hosts. Shared kitchen and dinning room was lovely and had fridge and coffee maker.

Bathroom was downstairs. Not a problem for us with teenage children but maybe not ideal if you had small kids.

The location was fantastic. A 5 minute walk to the main square. Full kitchen facilities were a great addition although we didn’t use it.

Despite booking a private bathroom, this was shared with the other family with us. Not too bad but 5 people all wanting to shower before we went out was a pain. And if we weren’t all travelling together we would have been sharing the bathroom with strangers. Which is not ideal.

The location was great. The kitchen area was convenient and the facilities were very clean.

I am not sure who the host was since when we asked if she was Inga, she just asked if we had a booking. The person who received us did not speak english well, she was curt and unclear about whether or not we were sharing a bathroom. During our stay, I wasn't sure if I was going to see another guest on my way to the bathroom or using the same bathroom. My booking was for a family suite, and I did not anticipate that the room would be separate from the bathroom - down two flights of steep stairs. Of note for cyclists, there is also not secure storage. We were told we could leave them in the front room/reception but as previous reviewers have mentioned, the front door was left open a couple of times when we there, and I did not feel confident our bikes would be safe. There was not a flat sheet on the bed, just a fitted sheet and duvet with cover - it was a very hot night in August and having the option of using a sheet rather than a duvet is essential and what I would expect in any accomodation.

Location was spot on (3 min walk to the centre of Ieper (Ypres). The owners were very friendly, helpful and obliging. Rooms were clean and well kept.

Sadly, No breakfast included (HOWEVER, this does not distract from the accommodation).

Beaucoup d'espace dans les chambres, salle de bain et acces à un bel espace de cuisine tout équipée. Tout le nécessaire est à disposition: serviette, gel douche, café...

La salle de bain est 2 étage plus bas que les chambres. Les matelas ne sont pas très confortables et la dame ne parle pas français.

Location is great

Firstly we arrived and there was an old lady who didnt speak English who had no idea where the owners was or how to contact them. On the front door it says go to house 57 aaa few doors away for the keys. The keys we eventually found out from another guest the keys were in our door. Its said there was a sofa bed but turned out to be a fold out bed with a dirty mattress. Then there was no other spare pillows or duvet so we had to search the building where we found some sheets in a cupboard. These turned out to have hairs on them and a dead squashed fly. The floors in the room were covered in dust and the bathrooms a floor down. The front door does not lock so anyone can walk in. Never met any hosts and the number provided doesn't work. It was a very wierd experience

Clean room with two double beds. Helpful staff. Space for our two bikes.

Had to go through another guests room to reach the kettle and coffee pod machine and then there were no pods, but plenty of tea bags.

Clean , inexpensive accommodation very close to the town centre. Great staff and a warm welcome.

De hygiëne, zowel de kamer als de badkamer waren brandschoon.

Er was slechts 1 stoel voor 2 personen en er was geen tafeltje, dat als bureau dienst kon doen. De kamer is misschien te klein voor deze voorzieningen, maar wij zouden deze voorzieningen zeer op prijs gesteld hebben.

De ligging, de faciliteiten, de mogelijkheden om het jezelf naar de zin te maken. Uitgebreide keuken aanwezig.

Als ik dan iets moet noemen: de sleutel ging wat stroef in het slot.

Mooie ruimte zeer centraal. Fietsen konden binnen.

The accommidatio was a short walk to the centre. Parking directly outside the hotel was good. The roons were Ok.

Bathrooms were communal. We were woken at 01:30 and asked to move rooms as the owners had placed us in the wrong room.

De locatie en vriendelijk ontvangst.

Het huis was extreem gehorig. We sliepen op begane grond maar konden de andere gasten, die boven hun verblijf hadden, goed horen. En om 6.15 uur werden we wakker van hun gestommel. Bovendien had iemand ook nog gerookt (ondanks verbod) Onze badkamer was bereikbaar via de gang waardoor we minder privacy hadden.

De ruimte

Wij hadden de familie kamer, prachtig , maar 4 trappen op en voor de badkamer 3 trappen af. Als je boven de 80 bent valt dat wat tegen, vooral 's nachts...

The rooms were very spacious & clean. The kitchen was well equipped & again clean. The bathroom was also big and the shower was powerful enough. The apartment is in a great location for exploring & close to shops, however this does have a downside for noise. Checking in & out was extremely easy.

The apartment is in a great location to explore but we stayed on a very hot Friday & Saturday, because of the heat we had the windows open & heard a lot of people outside during the night. Again due to the heat air con or fans in the room would be perfect.

The toilets and showers are not within the room. Not exactly as described (vague). However it was a pleasant experience

Bij aankomst briefje aan de deur:Sleutel op nr 57,maar daar werd niet geopend!Weer terug naar het pension en ging de deur gewoon open.Maar niemand gezin om uitleg te geven!

A lot of stairs and rooms are on all different floors. Bathroom and toilet is two floors down. Not ideal it’s a shame.

Lots of stairs,40 steps to get to the bedroom.We were all seniors at 65 to 72.Climbing up to third floor is no fun.

Very close to the ypres centre & lovely large room & excellent value for money. Parking outside of building is only for 2 hours during the day but if you go up the road & turn left there is free parking which we used the next day 😁

L’emplacement à 5 min à pieds de la ville parfait

L’annonce n’ai pas assez bien détailler dormir avec des enfants à l’étage et savoir qu’il y a d’autre personne au rez de chaussée n’ai pas rassurant pour moi . De plus ses personnes on eu peu de respect à faire du bruit jusque 1h30 du matin . Et lorsque j’ai demander à la propriétaire si nous étions seul elle m’a quand même répondu que oui .

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the centre. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and maintained. Simple and basic but perfect for our needs being out all day. Nice coffee and tea available in the kitchen upstairs.

Only thing was the WiFi had no Internet, Im sure it would have been sorted if we complained but we were not that bothered.

Great location of the property.

The check-in process was appalling. We had to walk into some person's house to get the keys and a teenager came downstairs not expecting us to be there. The rooms weren't ready when we arrived. They got them turned around quickly but it was a difficult process. The toilet still had foul in it from someone.

Just be aware of the narrow stairs if you intend having large luggage cases.

Location for town square and menin gate

"Private bathroom" was down 2 flights of stairs and could also be accessed by guests sraying in other rooms owner maintained it was private as there was a key to lock door on inside. There was no wifi, owner stated shed only paid for it on day we arrived and as it was Good Friday it wouldnt be activated until after Easter. This meant there was also no TV as it needed internet to work

Locatie is ideaal gelegen vlakbij het centrum.

Bedden en/of matras van mindere kwaliteit. Badmat en douchecabine was niet proper. Je kan alles horen van de mede huurders.

It was very cold in the house and in the room upon arrival - I found this very unwelcoming. I tried to contact the owners because of early arrival and did not get any reply. My room was not ready when I arrived. Bedsheet were synthetic,

La chambre avec ses deux lits séparés était très confortable et nous avons apprécié le calme durant la nuit. Notre hôte a été super gentil avec nous : elle a gardé nos affaires le lendemain car nous avions un trail dans le coin et nous ne pouvions pas les emporter avec nous. Elle nous a également permis de nous changer sur place avant de reprendre notre train. Bref, je recommande ce logement si vous êtes de passage à Ypres. À oui j allais oublier il y a aussi une superbe grande salle de bain séparé et privative avec wc

Very good location in Ypres for walking around and enjoying the town. Clean and had all the basics you needed. Shared kitchen was handy.

A heavier blanket on the beds would be helpful in winter. Be fine in summer but a bit cold in winter. While there was a kitchen with tea and coffee facilities there was no coffee available.

Location was perfect, room tidy and clean, shower room spotless and kitchen area was an added bonus

Firstly, we were not expecting the Ritz - this is a b&b (well, bed mostly no breakfast). This little b&b isn't the fanciest or quirky but is clean and functional with a lovely host who was super helpful. She's didn't speak great English but we got there. It is conveniently located between the station and the town square. There is a well equipped kitchen and seating for self catering on the first floor. I would stay there again - clean and tidy goes a long way.

On the down side, we had the ground floor room which had a curtain over the window - this partiality closed so some light came through this might be an issue. The bed sheets were very thin and we could see the mattress beneath which bothered me a bit (I'm a fan of a mattress protector).

La propriété exceptionnel, le confort de la literie, le personnel agréable

The location was good, the rooms were nice, but quite echoey. The bedrooms were nice and temp was good but the lower levels were cold ( thermostat showed 14deg C in kitchen couldn’t adjust)

They really need to advise you that the bathroom is two floors below the bedroom. I expected the rooms would be on a higher level but did not expect we would be constantly traversing the narrow stairs with loose railing… it was extremely difficult for my wife who has mobility issues.
