Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Our host was so helpful and provided some recommendations and was eager that we had a good experience in Iepers (Ypres). The room had coffee & tea making facilities which was very welcome. Many thoughtful touches in room and in bathroom. Although it was shared bathroom it was right next door. Easy walking in old town and to The Menin Gate. Highly recommend.

Reviewed Oct 19, 2025The location is perfect; within a short walk of the Grote Markt and convenient for all the main restaurants etc. Free parking just around the corner, with EV charging too which is a bonus. This parking is in sight of the Prison so is pretty secure too. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and quiet.
There's nothing to dislike about De Galerie; excellent communication with the owner makes check-in very simple, it has all that is required and is perfect for travellers.
