Das ganze Hotel ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und man wird rundum versorgt, so dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Man ist direkt vor den Toren der Stadt und somit schnell in Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall Frühstück für den Aufenthalt zu buchen! Sehr reichhaltig und lecker.

Am ersten Abend war bei uns leider die Musik im Foyer sehr laut und der Bass hat die ganze Nacht im Zimmer für einen etwas unruhigen Schlaf gesorgt. Wurde direkt am Morgen behoben und danach war es sehr ruhig und entspannt.

De locatie

The room was lovely and as the description. We were met by Nylet who was a very lovely host and helped rectify the problem we had with the parking. Breakfast, again served by Nylet, and was really lovely. The hotel was situated close to the town and within walking distance. Large bed with nice fresh linen. Our room had a freestanding bath and a shower.

Parking at the hotel could have been better and there was a charge of 35 euros. We always look for a hotel with secure parking and although it was secure and Nylet managed to get a space for our car we probably would look for a hotel with better parking facilities in the future. There was a coffee machine but would have been nice to have a kettle to make tea. Most hotels we stay at provide complimentary water in the room, you have to pay for water here. The room was beautifully decorated but not practical, nowhere to lay out your toiletries (there was a small trolley but this already had items on it). I had to lay my toiletries on the floor. Would have expected better for 460 euros for 1 night.

From the moment you arrive you feel welcome. A beautiful building with stunning rooms, excellent location a short walk from the centre but in a very quiet neighborhood. Breakfast is recommended and the host is wonderful. Also has a very relaxing garden, feels like a home from home.

De tuin mocht mooier ingericht worden maar ik denk dat men daaraan werkte ?

Warm ontvangst door de lieve gastvrouw, kamer primitivo was klein maar comfortabel, fijn bed, fijn ontbijt, goede locatie op loopafstand van het centrum, privé parkeerplaats beschikbaar tegen betaling en alles supermooi ingericht.

Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Danke Naileth! Das Frühstück war sehr üppig und vielfältig. Im Bett schlief es sich wie auf Wolken und das Design der Räume ist wunderschön.

Die offene Toilette ist eine Einschränkung. Die offene Dusche hingegen ist kein Problem, sie war auf den Fotos vorher auch klar erkennbar.

Je waant je in een Italiaanse palazzo, echt toplocatie en beleving, vriendelijke ontvangst en begeleiding door Laileth, prachtige kamer, super ontbijt !

The hotel is a little bit away from the city center, about 10-15 minutes walk - not that you'll feel it, because the walk there provides you with beautiful scenery, cool breeze, and lots of shops to window shop with. It has a castle-y feel to it, and the room, dining area, gate, and gardens are meant to reflect an old-ish, quaint, beautiful building of olden days. I loved the vibe. After 4pm you do self check in. There is no lift, so be prepared to lug your heavy luggage up the staircases to your room. We stayed in Barolo. The toilet is huge and spacious, the room itself gorgeous. The beds were the best - we slept like babies the 4 nights we were there. In the mornings, breakfast begins at 9.30am. They're the same daily, but you can ask for extra food or have something cooked to your preference. Filip is very friendly, accomodating, and has impeccable service. Food is really yummy. Note: The hotel is on one side of the bridge, which is on its right. It's on the quieter side of town, so after 6pm most shops are closed and there's nothing much to see. On the other side of the bridge however, there's more life, more hustle and bustle, more commercial hotels too, as it is closer to the city center - all within walking distance. If you prefer a quiet stay away from the crowds, this hotel is perfect. Finally, it's just a 15 minute walk from the train station, which is also why we chose it over the city center (which will be further). We took the Eurotrain from Amsterdam into Brugge, and walked easily to our hotel, and also walked back upon checking out. If you go straight to the city center and stay there, you'll probably miss out this part of town - the quiet, beautiful, scenic part with all surrounding nature.

For me, this is a work holiday. I found the room gorgeous, but incredibly dim. Even with all lights on, it was really dim - that made it very hard for me to work on my laptop. I don't fault the hotel for this - after all, this is to reflect an olden castle room, and naturally all sources of light will come from antique lamps and chandeliers, and not modern LEDs. So throughout the day, the room remains dim, even with light coming in from the window (not much). There is no door separating the room and the toilet - just a curtain. So it gets awkward when another person is actively using the toilet, but we made do by opening the window in the toilet so air circulation flows better. Hotel is SUPERB for couples, but not for families with children - the hallways are dim and steps are creaky, with lots of ornaments on display in glass cases - not great for active children.

We had a wonderful stay! The B&B is beautifully designed, spotless, and in a perfect location to explore Bruges. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Honestly, nothing. If anything, a door for the toilet would add a bit more privacy, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. Everything else was excellent!

The suits are just amazing. The hosts put a lot of effort to make you feel like in a real small castle. In every corner there is some antique decoration to discover. Furthermore, the host was very polite and welcoming. Gave us a welcome glass of Prosecco with small snacks. Highest rating and would book it again.

Possibly the nicest place we have stayed at ever, it will be extrememy difficult to top it. Location is spot on, our host Naileth (sorry if my spelling is incorrect) is amazing, she looked after us extremely well. The breakfast is to die for & our room was stunning. We will be back!

Het was een heerlijk sprookjes achtig gevoel wat we kregen

Wie erwartet fühlt man sich nach dem Gang durchs Eisentor und Eintritt in das Haus wie in einer anderen Zeit mit viel Charme, knarrenden Dielen und liebevoll erhaltenen Details. Der Gruß vom Haus in Form von kleinen Leckereien und einem Getränk haben wir auf einer stilvollen breiten Ledercouch in der Bar, die wir für uns alleine hatten, genossen. Das Bett mit den unterschiedlichen Kissen war ein Traum.

Leider mangelte es an Kleinigkeiten, die ich bei diesem Preis nicht erwartet hätte und daher gibt es auch keine sehr gute Bewertung. Ich bin dienstlich nahezu jede Woche in Hotels und weiß, dass der Preis normalerweise nicht alles ist. Der schöne alte Garten war teilweise ungepflegt und es standen Geräte rum , kaputte Stühle, die schönen alten Figuren vernachlässigt…es gab keinen Platz zum sitzen, um im Schatten der alten Bäume inne zu halten. Es gab auf Nachfrage hin keine Handseife, lediglich ein Mini Duschbad was wir nach der Toilette benutzt haben. Ist halt gerade aus und tut uns leid, war alles. Der nächste Supermarkt war 200 m entfernt, hätte man beheben können. Die Kommunikation lief weitestgehend über WhatsApp, da im Haus selbst nur jemand sehr begrenzt anwesend ist. Nicht schlimm, da wir eh unterwegs waren. Das Frühstück hatten wir nicht probiert, da die Zeit ab 09:30 Uhr nicht in Verbindung mit Sightseeing passt. Die Bar selbst war zu keinem der angegebenen Zeiten geöffnet, daher haben wir am Abend nicht das eigentlich schöne Ambiente zum Ausklingen des Tages nutzen können. Es stand allgemein eine Minibar im Haus zur Verfügung, aber da bleibt man dann doch in der Stadt und lässt es sich gut gehen. Es mangelt bei dem Preis einfach an Details, die ich so aus vergleichbaren Hotels in England und Wien nicht kenne. Das Potenzial dieses Hauses wird nicht genutzt, was schade ist. Vielleicht ist das Haus eher was für Verliebte die ihr Zimmer nur fürs Frühstück verlassen, aber….

Neileth is very kind lady who is managing the booking for her boss. She and I had a lot of message communication, which helped me to get to the house conveniently and she was waiting for us with welcome wine and snacks. She even called restaurant to help me to book dinner. The house is fabulous, it has hundreds of years, and it's well designed and decorated with aesthetical stylish. in the day time, it looks like a Salon. at night, it's a private bar.

as I booked the smallest room, I hope to have more hooker in the bath room and mirror in the bedroom.

Kaldığımız odada banyoya (banyo oda içinde yarım kat üstte) çıkan merdivenler çok ses çıkartıyor. Tuvaleti dar ve de yarım duvarla kapatılmış yani normal kapısı yok, sifon sesi yatak odasından duyuluyor Ayrıca oda içinde bir çöp kovası da olsa iyi olurdu.

The B&B was gorgeous, clean, and well run. Breakfasts were delicious and Naileth couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. Really liked the location as it is right outside the busy historic area. Easy to reach, yet quiet. Very comfortable!

Everything! The staff were so welcoming and exceptional attention to detail, welcome drinks and nibbles, the first greeting was so warm, to breakfast which was full of variety, topped up constantly and delicious, and check out which was very difficult as we didn't want to leave! The room was exquisite and full of opulence as well as the cleaning, it was to the highest standard. The overall decor and finishing touches were not scrimped on and made it feel 5 star.

Only one thing. The bath doesn’t fill up properly because the plug doesn’t work. I’d say for the money this should be fixed as soon as possible as we wanted a bath as a couple and even when plugged in the water ran out. Very sad.

Great location and easy to find. Parking at the rear, can be arranged. Narrow(ish) access for most cars OK. Rooms and hotel really lovely, with a very authentic feel. No doors for the toilet in rooms, may be an issue for some, when on the throne! Filip the owner, was superb, lots of recommendations for Bruges, and an enjoyable chat when we arrived.

Amazing atmosphere, the furniture is very particular and chosen with extreme attention, everything is perfect and charming. The host is absolutely top, very nice, very caring and makes you feel at home. Every where is super clean and cost. Breakfast is superb, and the breakfast room very luxury but warm at the same time. We will come back for sure

No door in the bathroom, if you want privacy (if you travel in two people) make sure you choose the right room for your privacy expectation

Advertised as a private bathroom, is does not have one its a toilet in a bedroom you have to walk in Side ways to get in and 2 ft away from the bed no extractor fan so room gets very hot and steamy. We used the toilet downstairs as our ensuite private toilet. This is not a luxury boutique room, no bathrobes, no kettle, no wardrobe or closet, as advertised towels very small for a man. Bar downstairs is not manned so can't be used. The room we had were were told had just been completed and not sure if we were the first in it, I will seeking some sort of a refund whilst it did not spoil our visit to Bruges, the facilities did as beautiful as this property is it should not mislead. Parking is expensive at 32 euros per day and breakfast is expensive for 35 euros per day, you can park for 7 euros or less at the train station and walk in to get a lovely breakfast for 12 euros.

It was very very elegant. The hosts were so friendly and kind. The welcome we received was lovely. The decor of the room and whole hotel felt very exquisite. The hotel was also a really good walking distance to the town and main square.
