Lovely quiet, clean and comfortable peaceful stay with a 5 star breakfast service! Having a genuine experience is rare these days so thank you & we’ll be back! The host is very kind and organised. We didn’t need to worry about anything, she even offered to drop us at a nearby wedding on route into town. Fab location too, close to the woods and the sea for nearby walks.

Sue was a warm and welcoming host. Easy to chat to, and really helpful. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious; freshly made and well presented. The house was in a lovely area, just a short walk to Courtown. I really enjoyed my stay!

The bathroom was a little small, but only because I don't travel light and I need a lot of space for toiletries. But the shower was great and the towels were fluffy 😊

Sue is a very friendly & attentive host. The b&b was exceptionally clean. Woodleigh is in a good location to explore the wexford coast.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Woodleigh Lodge. Our Host was very welcoming. We had a delicious breakfast and lovely chats.

The breakfast was lovely and Sue was very friendly chatty and very welcoming the house was spootlessly clean,open and airy.Everything was perfect I would recommend staying here it's just a short drive to Gorey and also the beach is just a short drive Avril and Junior

Lovely Sue, the owner, creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you immediately feel at home. The lodge is spotless, sparkling, and beautifully cared for, with loving touches that make the surroundings feel both exclusive and uplifting. It’s also wonderfully well-located, perfect for exploring the surrounding attractions and the beautiful lcoastal region . Breakfast was homemade and prepared with every wish taken care of. Sue’s genuine kindness and personal attention made our experience unforgettable. Woodbridge Lodge is a place filled with heart, beauty, and true hospitality.

I stayed at this lovely B&B for one night with my wife and daughter. We usually stay at hotels, so this was our first time trying a B&B — and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Both my wife and daughter absolutely loved the place, and we left with such happy memories. Sue, the host, was incredibly kind and warm-hearted. She was especially sweet to our daughter, which meant a lot to us. The bed was comfortable, and Sue checked several times to make sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and prepared with great care — it truly warmed our hearts. It was a wonderful experience and a beautiful memory for our family. Thank you so much, Sue.

Brilliant location, Sue was a great welcoming host. House immaculate. She upgraded me from a single to a gorgeous double. Slept so well in the comfy bed. Breakfast was gorgeous too.

The breakfast was exactly what we wanted and so enjoyed it; and the bedroom clean and bed was very comfortable. The location was convenient for our needs and safe off-street parking. Our host was very welcoming, kind and thoughtful.

Everything was good for us…. nothing disliked. Although a small fresh ground coffee (pod?) machine would have been lovely but not really essential.

Very comfortable place to stay-,house and rooms immaculately clean and very chic decor. Sue, our hostess was most welcoming and very helpful with all our needs. I made a mistake when booking the number of rooms, but Sue managed to have it sorted without any fuss. My travelling companions were also able to have their bicycles securely stored for the night. Breakfast was very good and fresh.

No problems with house, just it's on a very busy road and great care needed while accessing and exiting.

The simple things were done excellently.....the room was clean and comfortable, I had my own bathroom which was a luxury in and of itself and it was very clean. The owner was very friendly which made things so much better and the breakfast was excellent.

Ein sehr schönes B&B und die Besitzern ist sehr nett. Wir hatten sehr nette Gespräche und wir haben ein paar schöne Tipps bekommen was man in der Umgebung anschauen kann. Alles war sehr sauber und das Frühstück war super. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage ist toll und extrem ruhig. Das ganze Haus inkl. Zimmer ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Dusche war gross und hatte auch genug Wasserdruck.

Das Zimmer war eigentlich gross genug, hatte jedoch keine Möglichkeit um die Koffer abzustellen und zu öffnen. Ein Kleiderkasten war nicht vorhanden. Nur eine Kommode, wobei man dann die Koffer ganz ausräumen müsste. Das Bad war sehr klein. Auch hier zu wenig Abstellfläche.

Very charming and an absolutely lovely hostess!

The Hostess was very friendly and helpful. She was excellent with our son! Food was delicious. House was immaculate and our room was very cozy. Bed was so comfy. Location was fantastic. So near Gorey and also near the sea. Will stay there again. Would highly recommend Woodleigh Lodge.

Breakfast was brilliant, location was very good for Courtown and only a 10 min drive to Gorey. Our host Su was lovely and made us feel welcome.

The check in time is very late and the check out time is very early, so it is hardly worth your while staying here for only 1 night unless it's just a stop over for travellers.

Very friendly and helpful host

Sue is an exceptional host - so warm, kind and friendly. She showed me how to use the key to open the front door, showed us to our room and gave us fresh towels for our room. She also gave us cups and milk so we could make tea/coffee in our room. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfy. It was lovely to wake up and look out to the well maintained garden every morning. We had breakfast every morning in the bright and spacious kitchen. Everything was clean and spotless everywhere, I couldn't fault it - it's a credit to Sue. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend this B&B to other people. Everything was fine...I was late arriving and given a key and shown how to open the door. Breakfast was what I requested and on time. I had stayed before and we caught up on what had happened since last I stayed. I was happy to see Molly, her 20 year old dog was still walking and friendly.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. There was nothing that I didn't like. The only regret was not being able to stay longer.

There are no dislikes or complaints..

House was beautiful inside and out. Sue, the owner was very nice and extremely helpful. A major storm came in that night and she was very concerned that she may lose power and tried to alleviate any concerns about my comfort should power be lost and that I would be okay with the cold overnight. It seemed that power was not lost or if it was, only momentary loses. Sue made a very nice breakfast in the morning. Molly, her dog, made my stay even better...what a little sweetheart. Sue also told me about the Seal Rescue Ireland Visitor Center. If I had the time I would have visited the Center. They do important work. If you stay in the area, I would suggest visiting the Center.

I was fortunate enough to stay at Woodleigh Lodge whilst visiting my niece who was working as an intern at Seal Rescue Ireland recently. Sue was the perfect host. She was warm and welcoming, her home is spotless and incredibly comfortable, and she’s thought of everything to ensure a lovely stay. As I was travelling by myself, I particularly enjoyed chatting with Sue whilst enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast. It’s the personal touch that sets Woodleigh Lodge apart and a perfect place to stay in Courtown.

Sue was the perfect host. The accomdation is so close to where our Granddaughter is on her internship at the Seal sanctuary. We were made so very welcome.

The property & the way it was furnished was absolutely stunning, the attention to detail was just perfect! It was spotlessly clean & breakfast was delicious too. We will, without hesitation, be back & will also recommend to others. The host is so friendly & always had a smile on her face, a good lady with a good heart.

Sue was such a delight during our stay — she made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. She also cooked a gorgeous breakfast! The house itself is immaculately clean and designed and our room was perfect. The location was just a 10 minute walk to the seaside and very close to the seal rescue centre, which we enjoyed very much!

The property is clean, comfortable, secure and a short walk to the picturesque town centre.. Sue was a fabulous, welcoming host, who made sure we were well looked after, even providing fresh milk for tea in the bedroom. Sue was also a good source of information about restaurants and places to visit in the area. Thank you Sue (and Molly) for opening your home to us.

We did not have any issues or bad experiences during our stay.

Sue was the perfect hostess. She looked after our every need, even sewing up a hole in my shirt. Breakfast was lovely and beds so comfortable. Everything was imacculately clean. So overall it ticked all of the right boxes.

Sue, was a lovely host and breakfast was whatever we wanted and when we wanted it.

The room was a little small, but a room is a room and cannot be changed. It contained everything that was needed.

Woodleigh Lodge has many points in its favour: the location is a short walk, about 10-15 minutes, to several restaurant and pub choices in the tiny town centre and the pretty waterfront area. The parking area is enclosed, secure and off the street. Sue is an amazing host, you’ll get a warm welcome a spotless house and a delicious breakfast. If you like a good walk with spectacular views, drive about 15 minutes to Tara Hill and try the red or blue trails. You can see just about the whole of County Wexford from up there!

Spotlessly clean Comfy room.

We were dropping off our daughter at the seal rescue centre in Courtown for a 4 month internship and found this gem of a hotel via research on Booking.com. Sue greeted us as we turned up in the car outside the property and could not have been a better host. We booked 2 rooms and Sue ensured that they were next to each other. The rooms were immaculate and the (included) breakfast just what we needed to fuel us for a long day. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

We only stayed one night so probably not qualified to comment on this.
