Le petit déjeuner magistral, on en attendait pas autant, copieux et délicieux, merci pour ce moment !

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Everything. First time doing a bed and breakfast and the bar is now set VERY high. Had so many nice chats with the family & staff running this B&B. They gave us great advice, fabulous breakfast and even watched a bit of the World Cup together. Next time we want to visit Donegal County, we will certainly be looking at staying here again.
I really cannot think of thing to critique about the property or our visit

La salle de bains pourrait être rènovée. Très vieillot. C'est la seule pièce de la maison qui n’était pas du tout à la hauteur de nos attentes.

The accommodation was spacious and car parking was well above average. Sinead - Marian's daughter - was exceedingly chatty and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome

The village centre was a short walk but our elderly host kindly offered us a lift to avoid the rain. Breakfast was superb including decent coffee.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Ein grosses Zimmer und Badezimmer mit genügend Platz und auch Ablagefläche für all die Utensilien, was man unterwegs halt so dabei hat. Wir hatten ein Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett, grosse, komfortable Betten. Handtücher wurden nicht ausgewechselt nach der ersten Nacht (wird andernorts oft trotz Info zum Umweltschutz ausgewechselt). Wir haben drei Nächte dort verbracht. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und (zu) reichhaltig. Die betagte Eigentümerin hat für uns überraschenderweise leckere Pancakes zusätzlich gebacken.
Etwas ringhörig, wir waren direkt über der Küche. War aber nicht so schlimm. In der Dusche nur eine kleine, wackelige Ablagefläche. Wassersystem (ein- und ausschalten) in der Dusche. Zwei einzelne Wasserhahnen am Lavabo- einer mit sehr heissem Wasser und einer mit kaltem. Für uns nicht nachvollziehbar, warum man dieses System immer noch in den anglikanischen Ländern anwendet. Diese "negativen" Punkte sind aber Reklamationen auf hohem Niveau. Es hat uns trotzdem sehr gut gefallen!!

Mariann a été de bon conseil et facilitatrice pour trouver un super endroit à dîner (car le Nancy's Bar était fermé le jour de notre venue) qu'elle nous a réussi à nous réserver à Kellybegs (Boathouse Restaurant) bien qu'il soit normalement complet. Merci !!
