Irene’s place was so beautiful. Very comfortable and welcoming. It was so nice to be able to walk to a pub for a great dinner and then on to a local pub for a pint and live music. Irene’s breakfast was amazing. So much to select and so delicious.

We had such a wonderful stay with Irene in Ardara! She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after exploring Donegal. Irene was so kind and helpful, and we really appreciated all of her recommendations and hospitality. We absolutely loved our time in Ardara and would happily stay with Irene again! The location was a perfect walk into every morning homemade breakfast was delicious!

Ubicación perfecta, Irene la anfitriona es muy agradable, informativa y atenta a tus necesidades. Ademas, el desayuno era muy bueno ( recomendó el porridge).

Breakfast was excellent, very fresh and well presented. My chalet was nicely furnished and the shower was really good and vibrant. The advice on where to eat, what to visit was useful and enabled me to make the most of my trip.

We are not picky guests, so we were not disappointed with our stay. The house is not set up to be able to have a lounge area to relax in, but that was not a problem for us.

Irene, our host, was lovely! She was so warm and hospitable, walking us through our rooms when we arrived and taking our breakfast orders in advance. She also gave us great dinner recommendations (Nancy’s Bar was a DELICIOUS recommendation!) and tips about activities in the area. It was my first time staying in a B&B, so I hadn’t expected it to feel like a “home”, but it was like going to stay with a relative for the holidays: super cozy and welcoming. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and waking up to Irene’s fabulous breakfast made us feel so well cared for. Just lovely!

Our host, Irene was fantastic — friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Great breakfast choices. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. A wonderful stay with a kind and generous host. We loved having our own little 'cottage', yet still having the b&b perk of a yummy breakfast. We also appreciated the chips/chocolate/kettle/fresh jug of water in our room.

Just an fyi, there is no shampoo/body soap in the bathroom. Not an concern for me, as I travel with my own, but may be an issue if you count on those items. Hand soap for the sink is provided, though. :-)

Les « chalets » style mobil-home sur une cour bétonnée servant de parking pour tous les résidents. Rapport qualité prix trop élevé pour la prestation, on a eu bien mieux ailleurs pour le même prix. Ne mérite pas 5 étoiles booking.

The location was perfect a short walk to town centre with proximity to restaurants and bars. It was also a good base for travelling within Donegal. Irene was a wonderful hostess and so helpful. The breakfast was amazing so would highly recommend this B & B.

Had a great 2 nights in Ardara. The B and B was situated a short walk from all the bars and shops in the town and a short drive to the beach.

Our stay with Irene in Ardara was very enjoyable. She makes it her priority for her guests to have a great stay. The breakfast was delicious and her sightseeing tips were brilliant!

Bathroom was brand new and everything was exceptionally clean

First of all, the chalet is just a garden hut container. Second of all, we booked the superior chalet with 16 m2 and a living room and sofa and separate bedroom and it's just a tiny half of a garden hut with a tiny bed. The extra large 2m beds are simply a lie. We felt scammed. When we asked about the missing living room the hostess got mad and said it was bookings fault and basically wanted to kick us out because of "bad energy" that I bring to her home. I never experienced anything like that. The terrace is by the way also just 2 m2 between the cars that are parked in her backyard. Our worst stay in Ireland so far.

The property owner was very friendly and she gave us great information on places to see and the best way to get there. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The property was easy to get to, and the town was just steps away, so we were able to walk to restaurants, pubs and shops.

Irene is a wonderful host and welcomed any questions we had for our 2 night stay. She also gave us suggestions for a road trip for the day and the route we took ended up being a beautiful loop through Donegal. She also had suggestions for shops to go to and we found a great spot to buy some authentic sweaters. We had a delicious breakfast included. We'd love to return some day and have more time to exore the area

Best experience of my trip. Everything was as advertised. Clean, pretty, comfortable, good facilities, and a lovely hostess who was very helpful. Location is great - near cliffs of Slieve League and surrounded by unspoiled Irish countryside. Town is home to hand-weaving centers with museum-like centers and shopping. Price was very good for all I enjoyed there. Suggest a quick trip to Clooney (15 minutes) to view the Dolmen in the fields. Meal at Alice's famous pub was quite enjoyable.

Tolle Gastgeberin, sehr zuvorkommend! Tolles Zimmer mit Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Perfekt gelegen um am Abend ins Pub zu gehen. Obwohl es an der Straße liegt hat man beim Schlafen keine Autos gehört.

Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber sowie die Sauberkeit im gesamten Bereich sind als positive Aspekte zwingend aufzuzeigen. Die statt des Frühstücks mitgegebenen Speisen waren gut, deutlich besser als in fast allen vorher besuchten Unterkünften - auch guten Hotels - und kaum überbietbar, liebevoll zusammengestellt. Das Beste was mir jemals an Lunchbox gegeben wurde. Die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberin darf nicht unerwähnt bleiben!!!

Ein zweiter Stuhl im Zimmer hätte uns gefallen .

Irene welcomed us on arrival and was friendly and helpful from the start of our stay until the end of the two days. She truly loves her home, Ardara village and Co. Donegal with a passion, which she shares with her guests. She gave us the best advice on what to see, where to eat and where to go to buy Donegal jumpers. Our room was comfortably, shower was good and Irene’s breakfasts were very tasty. We would certainly stay with Irene if we return to beautiful Donegal in the future.

Wir waren im Hof in den Chalets. Die waren ausreichend und für eine Nacht perfekt. Die Gastgeberin und Ihr Ehemann sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haben gute Tipps erhalten.

Irene was so welcoming and helpful with her tips for the local area. Facilities were excellent and location was perfect for access to Ardara town and local beaches. All topped off with a delicious breakfast before we headed off. We would definitely stay again!
