Sehr ruhige Lage, herzliche Vermieter mit interessanter Geschichte, stilvolle Einrichtung, schöner Garten mit herrlichen Bäumen und Kunstwerken
Bett könnte etwas breiter sein
Wonderful hosts. Lovely breakfast.
Our stay was really relaxing surrounded by nature and birdsong. A lovely breakfast was provided by Janie each morning.
Lieu au calme en pleine campagne. Bonne accueil.
We had a wonderful stay! The house and garden are absolutely beautiful, and Janie is incredibly friendly and welcoming. She made sure we had all the important information and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was simply delicious – a real treat! I also have to say… I love her towels! Such a cozy and charming place – we’d definitely come back.
Breakfast was great with crusty rolls, croissants, homemade jam and yogurt. Fresh fruit also avaliable in room.
A little far to walk to local town but not so as to disrupt our holiday. Local village of borris had all you would need.
Janie was such an informative and gracious host. We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet and rustic getaway.
Myself and my sister spent three glorious nights here and it was absolutely fabulous. This place is such a gem. It is in the quiet of the countryside and the perfect place to relax, read, walk, and to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. Janie and her husband Mim are the kindest people and their place is beautiful. The gardens, animals, birdsong, decor... all 10/10. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and Janie was always so friendly and chatty, without imposing. The room was perfect and the bed was extremely comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor area - sitting reading, playing with the dogs, chatting briefly with Janie/Mim and admiring the beautiful bronze sculptures that Mim has displayed. Janie recommended The Stephouse Hotel in Borris for dinner and it was delicious. We also ate in Kilkenny on two evenings and would recommend The Goodly Barrow in Gorsebridge for lunch. I cannot rate our stay here highly enough - a perfect three days. Thank you Jamie and Mim, we will be back!
Great location, nice facilities and a great host
No tv
Very clean rooms and very cosy. The breakfast was amazing.

What a pleasure to have stayed here. For me, it truly felt like home. I slept well, tea and coffee with milk, and I can't say enough about a light breakfast Janie prepared each morning. Warm croissants and butter? Yes, please!! Thank you for having me at your home. A great pleasure!
Nothing to say here other than it was a perfect way to close out my Ireland trip!
lovely place
owners are very friendly. good breakfast. comfortable quarters. very private.
Janie and Mim were wonderful hosts. Janie brought our breakfast to our room each morning at a time we specified. Breakfast was croissants and rolls, with jam, butter, yogurt and orange juice. Tea and coffee were available in the room. If you love dogs, this is the place for you! They have several friendly dogs who greet you upon arrival. The property is so pretty and the area is quiet. You do need a car for this area.
Nothing!
Wonderful host & charming accommodation in the countryside ….a very Irish feel plus a very modern bathroom 👍
Breakfast was served on a tray to our room and the table /chairs around a bit tight to sit comfortably-mattress was quite lumpy
Lovely place with fresh breakfast served to our room. Very accommodating and helpful owner. Very quiet. Nice room in kinda retro style. Great bathroom
Quite remote place if you need to get somewhere. Very good but basic breakfast. An addition of ham and cheese would be nice. Bed was quite small but comfortable. Table was old and unstable
So quaint and charming, like stepping into an idyllic rural location. Loved skimming through the family diary book. The owner, Janie, is very welcoming

Very peaceful and comfortable accommodation, absolutely spotless, the bed was the most comfortable I have ever experienced. Jane was very nice and helpful and provided a lovely fresh breakfast
It was very comfortable, clean and warm.
Perfect host, Perfect breakfast, I couldn't fault a thing, highly recommended
Location, price, nice host. Very nice continental breakfast.
High recommended... Janie was a lovely host and the unit was amazing. Great stay!
Warm, friendly welcome, cosy room, good continental breakfast.
Lovely quiet location, comfortable bed. Janie was a fantastic host with good communication.
There was nothing not to like
Corriebeg cottage is a beautiful country cottage with roses, sweet pea and daisies. It even has nesting housemartins. The host, Jane, is delightful and a fund of knowledge. Everything was clean and comfortable, breakfast brought at our chosen time.

Excellent location. So welcoming and helpful. Hospitality done well.
Simpler coffee machine! But really it didn’t matter.
Everything was amazing. I didn’t want to leave!
Janie and Mim share their amazing Irish country property with their guests. Great hospitality! An intimate space in the fields. A beautiful place to walk, rest, relax and recharge. So peaceful. Fascinating music history, and incredible home.baked goods in the morning! And wonderful dogs!
Nothing. Felt like we were visiting family.
We had a very quiet and pleasant stay with Janie. The nature around the cottage invites you to walk and relax. The room is well equipped, the bathroom is very large and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. The small breakfast with warm croissants is delicious and sufficient. Great for enjoying the peace and quiet. Janie and her dogs are great hosts.
We loved the peace and quiet of this lovely cottage. Beautiful well appointed accommodation which was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was perfect. Waking up to the wonderful sound of the birds singing was a real treat. Janie and mim were so friendly and wow what interesting lives they have lead. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.
The owner was incredible offensive to my partner and I because we arrived in separate cars. She interrogated us about the status of our relationship, where we both lived, our children. She was not happy with the fact, that in 2023, a blended family do not live together. She then asked if we were '"going to shag all afternoon and then go out for dinner'! " I have never met a ruder more judgemental offensive host.
The host or her lack of decorum. I had read the lovely reviews before I booked accommodation and was completely gobsmacked at how rude this person was to us as her paying guests
Super comfy bed. Awesome bathroom. Spacey bedroom. Great service. Fresh breakfast. Place just feels very comfortable and cozy.
The breakfast was warm and perfect. We were greeted by the owner and her little dogs which was very nice. The bathroom is new and has a very nice walk in shower.
The room was chilly. It is heated with a small portable heater. There isn’t a tv.
I spend here the best time of my life. Host of this place is the nicest peron I met in whole Irlend, and she helped me feel comfortable all the time. I could spend some good quality time in the countryside and was even able to play with great dogos 😁 I recommend this place to everybody who wants some time for themselves
Janie was really accommodating and helpful. The room was very clean. Private entrance and bathroom were a great addition to our stay.
It was a very cold room because the radiator wasn't working which is likely a temporary issue. While the bed was comfy for me, it was quite a small bed and my tall husbands feet were hanging over the bottom! The breakfast was kindly left outside our room but consisted only of pastries - some additional pieces would have been nice. The location is isolated and amenities are not near.
Bed was so comfy, I had a lovely night's sleep. The breakfast of fresh warm pastries and juice dropped in the door in the morning was a lovely touch, I really enjoyed breakfast in bed. Janie was so accommodating and let me in early as I was heading to a wedding for the day.
The hosts at Corriebeg were very welcoming, relaxed and easy to talk to. They were very engaging people with wonderful stories to tell but they were in no way overbearing. Although accomadation is a part of the main house, with a private entrance it feels entirely separate. This is supported by the hosts relaxed presences but also managed to be as attentive as possible to our needs. The room provides wonderful tea and coffee facilities. A wonderful retreat into nature and away from reality.
Breakfast is a cold breakfast in the room. It was beautiful with home made marmalade and jamb but there was no option for a hot meal. The bread was delicious but I would have preferred it toasted.. Perhaps if a toaster could be kept in the room. And a small dining table with 2 chairs to sit at in order to eat without having to sit up in bed or at a chest of drawers and mirror. The room is very quiet at time without a TV or radio. Although it is pleasent most of the time and provides great peace, it would be great if a stereo, radio or even an alexa device were available to have the choice to listen to music or the news.
nice comfortable room and quiet and relaxing place Good advice for walks

Janie was fantastic from the word 'Go', she was there to ensure our stay was as relaxing as possible. Attentive to our needs and at times knew them before we did! Would highly recommend staying in Corriebeg Cottage! Many thanks for everything Janie.

Janie and Mim are such lovely people who make our stay so memorable and special. The cottage is a hidden gem situated in such a beautiful relaxing setting. The cottage is beautifully decorated, spotless clean and boasts of a fantastic walk in shower. It was so snug and cosy, we woke refreshed and revitalised. Janie very kindly organised a delicious breakfast for us with a variety of lovely treats to indulge in. This is such a haven..every blessing to Janie and Mim thank you for our perfect stay.
Having to go ...😔
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It was extremely comfortable and we were warmly welcomed! The breakfast was delicious, towels were warm and smelled wonderful, and the gorgeous surroundings were idyllic. We loved chatting with the hosts and meeting the horses, too! We would recommend to anyone looking for a real cottage experience in the Irish countryside! Thank you!!
