I had a life at sea that was truly... and the staff are really very kind.

Unfortunately, the walls are very thin, so I could hear the people in the next room talking until late.

Die Besitzerin und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war typisch irisch aber Mary tat alles das man zufrieden war.

Die Betten könnten neue Matratzen vertragen und die eine oder andere Renovierung würde den Zimmern gut tun.

The location was very good, quiet area with great views. The cooked breakfast was very good. It was spotlessly clean. The owner was very friendly and informative about the local area. Good value for money.

Mary was very helpful with local insights of what was open (restaurants) during my stay.

Das Haus ist super schön. Man kann von dort gemütlich in das nahe gelegene Fischrestaurant oder Pub laufen. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Das Hostel liegt oberhalb der Straße aber es geht, da die Straße abends nicht so stark befahren ist.

Ruime kamer met prima bed en een fantastisch uitzicht. Het ontbijt was ook perfect en heerlijk. De gastvrouw gaf gevraagd en ongevraagd allerlei hulp wat heel fijn was.

Possibly the best view from a room I’ve ever had. Yummy breakfast Host Mary was very accommodating, gave a great dinner recommendation and got me an extra blanket when I was chilly in the room. Great for a one night stay, a home base to see Beara, or a longer cozy vacation!

Freundlicher Service und top Lage

Der Blick vom Zimmer und der zum Zimmer gehörenden Terrasse über die Bucht war traumhaft. Das Frühstück war umfangreich.

Die Straße war im Zimmer trotz geschlossener Fenster deutlich zu hören. Um zu den Pubs/Restaurants zu gelangen ist ein Auto hilfreich.

Mary and her staff do such a good job and I had such a pleasant visit as a result.

Das Haus ist sehr schön auf einer Anhöhe gelegen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und hatten ein schönes, sauberes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Das Früstück war ebenfalls sehr gut.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Cottage Heights B&B at the end of July and really enjoyed our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so warm and welcome. A special mention to Mary, the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The views from our room were beautiful, and we also loved enjoying the scenery from the common areas. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was another highlight — a very generous and delicious full Irish breakfast, which set us up perfectly for the day. Overall, a lovely B&B with wonderful hospitality, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Cottage Heights B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Superb location for the stay. The seaside view was amazing. The host was very good and very friendly. The willingness to help from the host was beyond words. Had amazing irish breakfast. Hospitality, food and service was too good. Highly recommend.

De bedden lagen echt heel slecht. Je voelde de springveren in de matras en het tweepersoonsbed was meer een twijfelaar.

Traveled here with my young son to Cottage Heights in Castltownbere. All I can say is you couldn't meet a nicer woman than Mary, who really makes you feel right at home straight away and enjoys a chat, and also who went out of her way to check what was going on the day of the local festival so we could avail of it. The room i stead in was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was superb with a great list to choose from. Shower was fantastic too. The scenery from the bedroom is also breathtaking. Also the house is a few minutes walk into town. Also the lady we meet at breakfast too was very nice and full of chat and made sure both of us had enough to eat and drink. My only regrets about the place is we didn't stay longer as my young son reminded me. I look forward to my return. to Cottage Heights.

I had a wonderful stay at Cottage Heights B&B. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The location is fantastic, with breath-taking views over the sea that made it very special. It is a peaceful place and a great base for exploring the area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Castletownbere. I used it as a base to start my trip to the ring of Beara and then to the Ring of Kerry. If you are driving then this is a fantastic location.

Extremely friendly landlady that takes time for you. Followed her recommendations and spent a perfect evening swimming followed by a great restaurant experience in the local town. Very pleasant, quiet room -slept well.

Friendly welcome and so helpful with booking a table at a local restaurant for us. Good communication re checkin instructions, and we enjoyed the cooked breakfast with options. Fabulous view over the harbour from our room. Would highly recommend as a comfortable stay while traveling the penninsular.

Great value B&B and could not have asked for a better Host. We received a very warm welcome from Mary & she even made a booking for us at a local restaurant for an evening meal. Breakfast was a bonus, which was included in the price, was fresh and plentiful. The view from our room was spectacular. Thank you Mary for a wonderful stay, highly recommend your B&B.

Location is perfect. Walking distance from/to the town ( around 20 min walking). Amazing views! The owner Mary is the dearest, we felt very welcomed! There is tea and muffins all day long in the reception. We loved our stay!

I liked the vegan options for breakfast, and the friendliness of the host. She was full of tips and even made dinner reservations for us.

The place was so near to town, clean and comfortable room, Mary was so accommodating and welcoming. we had a lovely full irish breakfast while enjoying the view by the coast!!!! Will definitely book again 😉 highly recommended!

Der Meerblick war schonmal ziemlich atemberaubend. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung. Man erhält ca. 5 Optionen, vom full irish breakfast bis hin zur vegetarischen Variante. Auch wurde auf Unverträglichkeiten geachtet und ein entsprechendes Frühstück bereitgestellt. Die Besitzerin war sehr sehr nett und die Gespräche machten einfach Spaß.

Die Zecke an der Duschwand hätte ich nicht gebraucht.

Ich habe mich als allein reisende Frau sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Mein Zimmer war sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was ich gebraucht habe. Die Gastgeberin war stets sehr herzlich, zuvorkommend und unterstützend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Ich kann diese Unterkunft zu 100% empfehlen und komme gern wieder!
