No stations for general viewing on t.v in room
room was brilliant girls serving breakfast were brilliant
told about dinner werent told to book it then told its £85 per head . Went for breakfast in ireland to find sheeps cheese and beef jerky
Lovely sized room, clean and warm. Great location beside the Olde Glen bar restaurant which we had booked and had drinks in the pub after. Food was amazing and the staff were welcoming, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was fabulous home made yoghurt and granola, fruit and bread with a selection of meats. Highly recommend if you are going for food in the restaurant to book the hotel as there isn't much in the area and you may have a long drive to another hotel
Loved the location, the staff, and the old bar was great. Dinner at the restaurant was good, but pricey. Our rooms were lovely, but I'd suggest adding a rug or two.
Nothing, it was really lovely.
Breakfast was excellent. Just the right type and amount after a big meal the night before
No shower cap
Easy parking
Quite small room
Very clean, comfortable and very well presented.
Modern, recently fitted out it seems, since there were 2 USB charging ports next to each bed: an essential feature rarely encountered.
There was no information supplied regarding check-in: eventually found someone at the bar next door. There was no information regarding breakfast time. The brief info in the room said breakfast would be served, but no indication of timing: We had almost given up, and were getting ready to depart a little before 9am, when we noticed activity. I.e. breakfast service starts at 9am, which is rather late, IMHO.
The food, the welcome, the staff and management as well as the spectacular, rural idyllic location. A little piece of heaven on earth.
Nothing, it couldn't have been better.
Lovely quiet place. Rooms beautiful and everything we needed!
Fabulous accommodation next door to possibly the best pub I have ever had the pleasure of frequenting.
La4ge room
Bathroom fittings bit tacky.
The Olde Glen Pub is really cosy and had great sandwiches
The breakfast was really poor for the price we paid for the stay. Just some toast and yogurt and a small bit of cheese. Would have preferred a hot breakfast.
Good
Parking
Well furnished rooms and central location
Exceptionally clean and comfortable, easy check-in suited our needs for dining at the restaurant next door. Staff were polite and engaging. We had a wonderful experience. We had a very good continental breakfast the following morning.
Next door to the Olde Glen Bar where we ate that evening
Paid €230 for a 1 night stay with continental breakfast, we have no issue with continental breakfast but this was seriously lacking key ingredients you’d expect in a continental breakfast, no cereal of any description, no fruit/fruit salad, croissants, selections of cheese etc we didn’t feel a small antipasto platter on a side plate between a couple was sufficient or value for money for the price paid
Very friendly staff Excellent restaurant and bar
Breakfast was underwhelming
Comfy bed, great shower, spacious.
Spotlights outside on all night, but not a huge problem as the blackout blinds stop 90% of the light. Just didn’t think they were needed after midnight.
Very modern and superbly located beside the marvellous Olde Glen Bar and the simply outstanding Glen Bistro
Good location
Very disappointed with the breakfast . I understand it is trying to be quirky but to be served fish in cling film was not what we would expect. It appeared that the breakfast was prepared the night before. There was no choice or a choice eat it not eat it .
Beautiful rooms, very tastefully decorated and appointed. Good communication from hotel before arrival regarding access to my room. Convenient safe place to leave my bike within the accommodation as I was on a cycling holiday. Also highlight of my whole holiday was the meal at the adjoining Olde Glen Bar & Restaurant which was exceptional.
Disappointed that there was only a quite limited continental breakfast available. As I was on a cycling holiday I would have preferred a full breakfast.
Breakfast was poor, fish ? Never has fish for breakfast before ??
Breakfast. It was fish !!! No Irish fry..
Breakfast was very nice indeed, not what I would choose on a buffet but a nice surprise. Location was perfect for me.
Nothing !
The building is beautiful and the room lovely
Absolutely fantastic
Nothing
Beautiful rooms, flat screen tv, and very quiet.
Failed to get breakfast 🙃
So bright and exceptionally clean and tidy
Nothing . Other than hard to find but that’s the layout of the land
It was super clean& fresh!
They didn't offer acooked breakfast... but the food they did serve was delicious!
Everything is completed to such a high standard
TV channels reception needs to be sorted
Breakfast was super. So different, everything homemade, coffee was amazing.
Fantastic spot!
Really nice place, nice decor and very clean.
Room was spotless. Laura got back to us within minutes of booking with details of entry to the room. Breakfast was fab. It was a choice of a meat or smoke fish platter. Started with some home made yogurt, poached plum and toasted bread. The butter was seasoned and delish. Also the whisky marmalade was so yummy. When I asked had they made it themselves, well of coarse they had. I was given a present of a jar. There were even a great choose of teas with mint, camomile and regular Irish tea. Shower was a big double one also.
Only little tiny fault was the blind in the bathroom didn't close. Not a big deal at all.
Fantastic B&B, in a new property that is fitted out to the very highest standards - superb quality and I would highly recommend it
perfect
Beautifully decorated large and comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Bar and beer garden and restaurant next door all 10/10. Did walk of nearby Lough Salt during our stay which also made the trip very memorable. Overall would not hesitate to stay again, in fact already have recommended to friends and family!
Only minor disappointment was breakfast - we don't mind Continental but would have preferred buffet style with a more varied selection. As it was we were served granola, sourdough toast and a range of cured fish which wasn't to everyone's taste.
clean updated
Cleanliness and Decor, wow!
No fry up for breakfast. Girl serving spoke far to fast to understand her. But she was friendly.
Very comfortable rooms in a beautiful location. Breakfast was good
fresh chilled out place
what not to like
Nice quiet village with a nearby pub
Maybe a self service breakfast would have suited me
The breakfast was exceptional, fresh orange juice, beautiful yoghurt & compote served with home made granola and prunes, home made sourdough with gluten free option available and lovely platter of smoked salmon, mackarel and other fish served.
Just that it was located closer to me!
Breakfast was the only disappointment.
Breakfast
spotlessly clean and comfortable
Beautiful accommodation decorated to a very high standard
Amazing Rooms, Very Comfortable and Spacious
Modern design, room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious.
They are attached to bar and restaurant. I arrived at 8.55 in the evening but could not order food. Not even a pack of crisps.
The accommodation was modern and clean. They have an amazing restaurant and brilliant attached bar. It’s also a very short drive from Downings and a lot viewpoints, hikes and golf.
Nothing
Everything was fabulous. Very luxurious and every detail was lovely.
The breakfast was plenty and tasty. Maybe not to some people's tastes but I enjoyed it.
I had a lovely stay. The room was spotlessly clean. The staff were very and the breakfast including homemade yogurt and toasted sourdough bread was very good. Many thanks.
It was all good.
