Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Muxnaw Lodge was expectional from the one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, spotless clean, the beautiful view, quiet and serene area and just a few minutes walk to the centre of kenmare. Myself and my partner stayed two nights and we slept soundly! Had delicious breakfast both mornings, beautiful homemade brown bread, scrambled eggs cooked to perfection! Not to mention the lovely owner/host Hannah an absolutely lady, so welcoming and friendly.

Hannah hand makes her own bread and jams and provides beautiful locally sourced breakfast in the most stunning dining room. She was an absolute pleasure and I would recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Kenmare!

Eccezionale la vista sul mare. La proprietaria è una signora deliziosa con cui abbiamo piacevolmente chiacchierato. Ci ha preparato un'ottima colazione tradizionale con diversi prodotti fatti in casa. A pochi minuti a piedi c'è il centro città con molti ristoranti e pub per passare una piacevole serata.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Komfortables großes Zimmer mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit selbst gebackenem Brot und eigens hergestellten Marmeladen. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberinnen. Die Unterkunft ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum Ring of Beara.
In den typischen dicken Teppichböden verfängt sich Staub, auch wenn sie gesaugt sind. Für Allergiker ist das unangenehm.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Das wunderschöne Haus, das geräumige und sehr saubere Zimmer, der exzelente Service, das unglaublich tolle Frühstücksangebot und vor allem die sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und zugewandte Art der Gastgeberin unx Eigentümerin. Darüber hinaus hat die Lodge eine hervorragende Lage etwas oberhalb der und mit tollem Blick auf die Bay. Der Weg ins Zentrum von Kanmare ist fussläufig bequem in gut 20 Minuten zu bewältigen.
