Decor very dated and shabby. En suite was tiny and fittings old. Toilet flush not properly working, taps and shower head leaking. Teabags etc in room just left in an open wooden fitting...not covered. Towels very small and thin. Kettle very old as were electric fittings. Bed linen: sheet, counterpart, extremely heavy quilt on top...so heavy we couldn't turn in the beds.

The man ( forget his name, sorry) even asked me if I wanted more and it was sausages , eggs , rashers etc. it means they would have had to cook more if I said yes . So kind . I slept so well. The mattress was so comfy .

The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The service was excellent, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Dorothy and Paddy for their kindness, hospitality, helping and for making our stay so enjoyable. They truly made us feel at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Donegal. It is a great place to stay.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Die Gastgeber Dorothy und Paddy waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zentrum von Donegal Town ist in einem kurzen Fussmarsch erreichbar. Sehr gutes Frühstück! Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit einem grossen Bad.
Ein kleiner Schreibtisch wäre toll. Damit wäre es aber im Zimmer eng geworden.

Stedet ligger i et fredelig strøk, men med bare en drøy 10- minutters gange til sentrum.Rommet var koselig og hadde et flott, romslig bad. Jeg sov som en stein i ei svært komfortabel seng. Dorothy og Paddy var fantastiske verter, og jeg følte meg så velkommen. Jeg ble hentet fra, og kjørt tilbake til bussen, og de ga mange fine tips om hva jeg kunne gjøre i området. Det ble ei herlig uke i vakre Donegal. Nydelig frokost!
