Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Preis war fair und Frühstück war gut.
Klimaanlage war viel zu laut, winding(trotz mehrfacher Adjustierungsversuche per Fernbedienung), zu Kalt obwohl sie auf 30 Grad eingestellt war. Personal war unfreundlich, Frühstück geht nur bis 9 Uhr und uns wurde um 8:40 gesagt wir sind zu spät daraufhin wollten wir wieder in unser Zimmer und packen, kurzer Hand wurde sich dann doch um entschieden und wir konnten doch Frühstücken. Nach unserem Frühstück sagten wir, wir bräuchten ca 30-40min damit wir um Punkt 10 Uhr auschecken können und nach 10 Minuten Packen auf dem Zimmer kam das Personal und klopfte an der Tür und verlangte das wir uns beeilen, obwohl der Check out erst um 10 Uhr war, dies hinterließ natürlich einen letzten üblen Nachgeschmack. Zudem wurde ich Vor und Nach dem Frühstück gefragt wann ich denn endlich zahlen würde, wir haben uns relativ Bedrängt gefühlt.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Pessoas muito atenciosas e prestaveis, receberam-nos com um sumo e colocaram produtos de higiene para caso fosse necessário, os quartos eram bastante espaçosos e limpos. Preço bastante bom condições e localização. A não faltar mencionar do pequeno almoço que nos foi oferecido que tinha um pouco de tudo para nos dar energia para começar o dia.

Room was dull. Didn’t feel very clean. Had to put a towel by the door to stop bugs from coming in. Many lizards running in the room. Bathroom didn’t feel nice - 3 lizards living behind mirror. Hair found in breakfast.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026בעחת הבית.מקסימה חייכנית ומסבירת פנים. האדיבות של הצוות הייתה מעל ומעבר - הסכימו לדחות את ארוחת הבוקר ל 10:30 כי היו לנו תוכניות.אחרות לבוקר המוקדם. ארוחת הבוקר מעולה! בחרנו לאכול גם את ארוחת הערב במקום וזאת הייתה החלטה טובה כי האוכל, והאווירה היו מעולים. המקום נמצא בקרבת אגם וממנו גם נקודת תצפית על " ה" הר עם "ה" סלע וגם קרוב לרחוב הראשי. ועל ולמרות שהדרך ליד מקום הארוע שקטה. יש טוקטוקים זמינים...
קיווינו לראות פיל על השביל ליד הסית והוא לא בא באותו ערב... 🫠

Onze airco was nogal luidruchtig en bij de kinderen maakte het toilet veel lawaai bij het doorspoelen maar gezien de zeer goede prijs en de andere positieve punten konden we saar zeker mee leven

Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, ainsi que les plats que l’on prenait le soir. Le couple qui tient la guesthouse est très agréable et arrangeant. Nous avons découvert un monastère à proximité du petit lac au bout de la rue. 2 moines le tiennent et adorent échanger. Le lever du soleil en leur compagnie avec vue sur le rocher du lion a été un pur bonheur 🤩

One room did not have fan, only AC. That caused some inconvenience. Because my daughter caught a cold, she was not willing to turn on the AC. Without the fan it was hot at night.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026I loved it! It has all the essentials. Hair dryer, kettle, tea, sugar, and a place to hang clothes. It has everything you need for the shower and bath. The hosts were very friendly; Samdia is lovely, she cooks very well, I ate there, and the prices are very reasonable. The location is excellent. She and her husband helped me with transportation every day, as they have a tuk-tuk.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay as it was within walking distance (~20 min) to Sigiriya rock, they offered a tuktuk ride to Pidurangala for sunrise and the breakfast was delicious. The family owning the place is very sweet and have excellent food in their restaurant next door (Ceylon hut).
Unfortunately our A/C broke down and it could not be fixed during our stay (not the owners fault of course), but we would have appreciated a bit more effort to ensure we were still comfortable. We got an extra fan which helped but we had to ask for it ourselves. The tuktuk was also 15 min late when we had agreed on a time from Pidurangala. However these are small things, overall a good stay.

Reviewed May 8, 2026Nette kleine Unterkunft. Sehr freundliche Familie. Die erste, die uns nicht direkt was aufquatschen wollte und uns nur ihr Angebot und Möglichkeiten im Ort aufgezeigt hat. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr weit oben und der Aufstieg vor allem mit Gepäck ist sehr anstrengend; aber lohnenswert.
- Kein warm Wasser zum duschen.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Das Personal war super Freundlich und zuvorkommend wir wurden direkt herzlich begrüßt und zu unserem Zimmer geführt. Sie haben uns einen super preis für eine Safari gegeben und konnten auch generell bei vielen Fragen behilflich sein. Direkt neben dem Homestay ist ein super leckeres Restaurant das quasi dazu gehört super lecker sehr große Portionen zu super Preisen. Das zimmer war sehr sauber das bad sehr groß. Das Bett war für meinen Geschmack bisschen zu weich aber das ist ansichtssache. Ich kann jedem weiterempfehlen hier zu schlafen wenn man in sigiriya ist. Passt nur mit den Restlichen Restaurants auf der Straße auf die haben alle super Bewertungen sind aber mehr so mäh. Der preis ist auch wirklich genial für das was man bekommt.

Le petit déjeuné était bon et la chambre était spacieuse, propre et décoré avec goût. Un très bon rapport qualité prix !

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026Mega liebe Gastgeberin und ihre Familie auch. Haben uns ein Taxi organisiert nach ella. Frühstück war super lecker und auch eine gute Portion. Haben uns auch zum Sonnenaufgang zum Pidurangala Rock gefahren. Auch abends haben wir in ihrem Restaurant gegessen in dem sie frisch gekocht hat zu gutem Preis.
Einige Tiere die nachts etwas lauter sind. Hatten auch eine Eidechse im Zimmer lässt sich aber in Sri Lanka nicht immer vermeiden :)

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026Çalışanlar çok yardımsever. Bize bisiklet kiralamamızda yardımcı oldular ve turistlik yerlere nasıl gidebileceğimiz hakkında bilgi verdiler. Kahvaltı güzeldi, oda temizdi, yatak rahattı.
Oda temiz olmasına rağmen böcekler var odada ama bu onların suçu değil, kapının altı biraz aralık olduğu için oradan giriyorlar. Giriş katı olduğu için perdeyi açmadık ve odada ki ışık çok yetersiz.
