Koen and Olivia were great hosts. The place was comfortable. We had a super water view.

Comfortable, relaxing, great location out of the hustle and bustle, but central enough to enjoy the city. Nice host.

A slightly more complete kitchen would have made a 11 out of 10

We love boats. The wheel house of this vessel was converted to a one room "studio" apartment. Bath and shower was spacious. Views of the canal are fantastic. The location is excellent. It sits off a smaller street that is more quiet. Felt very safe. Grocery is a block away. Expresso machine and coffee provided; cereals too. Some food items are there- suggest you check in before going to grocery. Proprietors are attentive and very friendly. A must is to take a canal tour. Better to rent your own e-boat and take a self guided tour of the canals. 3 hrs is sufficient. Great time- remember to look left and right for bikes- twice! or just close your eyes and walk across on faith and they won't hit you.

We travel during the heat wave 23-26 June 2026. It was hot! Did I say it was hot?! Suggest you "hide" in the museums in the afternoons- they have a/c, then to a park with your own cool beverage. The studio does cool off when the sun goes down. There is a fan. No fault of the proprietors as the weather is the weather and there is little A/C anywhere.

Amazing to be right on the water and part of river life watching the world go by. The studio was light and airy (with a great fan for hot weather) and the kitchen was well stocked for breakfast. The location was great, making you feel like an Amsterdam local without being too far from anything. I'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, being on the water made our trip extra special and we enjoyed having all the boats and people to look at. Very comfortable bed, good shower, tasty breakfast provisions provided and a friendly welcome from the owner who lives in the rest of the boat. Good privacy and felt safe. Would recommend.

Sense of being away from the crowds, everything walkable, interesting area to discover. Appreciated breakfast options and other goodies.

Very good location within walking distance to Oosterdok, center & CS. Very kind owner. Comfortable bed, cosy room. Welcoming drink was a nice touch (even if not consumed)

Not a problem by itself as it's easily solvable but otherwise bothersome : very squeaky doors, front and especially bathroom, absolutely needing greasing.

Een prachtig uitzicht vanuit de ramen, het water is erg rustgevend. Alles in het huis is compact en comfortabel. Er waren ontbijtbenodigdheden aanwezig.

The location was really good and interesting. There was an excellent and generous range of freebies in the room. The host was very welcoming.

-Great location (away from the hustle and bustle, but easily accessible) -Sliding door with a great view of the canal -Hosts were lovely and left surprise treats!

-No toiletries included (this was fine for us because we had them, but it's good for future guests to know to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/soap)

The accomodation was lovely and surprisingly warm, particularly as we were there during a snow and ice storm! Koen and Olvia were lovely hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Comfy bed, yum locally brewed beer (you can see the windmill out the window!) It was so peaceful with swans swimming up to the window, or getting close by considering the canal was frozen for part of our stay. The #22 bus brings you straight from Central Station to right outside the boat in just 15 mins. It is so close to all the key tourist spots but also slightly removed, a little sanctuary to come back to after a busy day.

The location was fantastic. Quiet, right on the canal, and easy walk to downtown. Hosts were super friendly.

Soggiornare sul fiume Amstel appena fuori dal centro è magico. L’appartamento è arredato con gusto meraviglioso. I proprietari Olivia e Koen sono professionali ma amichevoli. Ogni giorno le folaghe fanno capolino per un saluto simpatico. Lo consiglio a chi ama vivere il mare!

Solo un piccolo consiglio: aggiungerei uno scolapiatti da appoggio.

Hangulatos, megvan a maga szépsége- napfelkelte nagyon szép volt. Az ágy nagyon kényelmes. A hűtőben volt reggelihez való. Müzli, kenyér, joghurt, tej. Külön tetszett, hogy a bögrék pont akkorák, hogy be tudod tenni a kávéfőző(nespresso) alá. A belváros nincs olyan közel de tömegközlekedéssel nagyon könnyen el lehet jutni bárhova.

Kicsit dohos, de ez várható volt, hiszen vízen van. Nem volt zavaró.

Kanalin icinde olmayi, odayi, temizligi, manzarayi, guler yuzlu nazik ev sahibini. Oda guzel dosenmisti. Su sicakti. Sadece yerler ve oda soguktu ama radyatorle isi ayarlamasi vardi. Otelden biraz daha otantik ama şık ve keyifli. Uyku cok rahatti ve los isikta suyun uzerinde guzel dosenmis bir odada olmak paha bicilemezdi.

Sadece kahvaltiyi zayif buldum, peynir, yumurta ve biraz daha cesit olabilirdi. Kizartmalik ekmek, 3 cesit cornflake, yogurt ve tereyagi vardi. Pisirme olanagi yoktu ancak cay, ekmek kizartma ve kahve makinesi vardi. Ev sahininin sarap ve bira hediyeleri vardi, icmeye hic vaktim.kalmasa da bu nezaket beni cok mutlu etti.

I liked being on the water watching the boats go by. I liked watching the swans swim by and the blue heron and other birds flying by and hanging around. I also really liked the location of the houseboat. It was just the right distance from downtown with many nice restaurants close by.

Great location, clean, easy to find, in a quiet area but close to the old city center.

I misses a closet for the clothes

Our host (Koen) was really friendly and very helpful. We liked being out of Amsterdam centre, but the 22 bus stop is only 10 metres away and perfect for going into the city centre (~8 mins). There is also a well-stocked Albert Heijn supermarket just around the corner. A few minutes walk away is the 7 tram line taking you to the museum quarter, and also is the location of a brewery by the windmill. Try the'Columbus' beer. The houseboat does not have a hotplate or a microwave, so just be aware of that. There is an Indonesian take-away very close by, however. We were delighted to sit and watch the boats go by, and the local heron and moorhens going back and forth. Being by the water was so relaxing. Thank you Koen.

This is a not an "I didn't like" comment, but more a suggestion for making a great place even better. If there had been a compact microwave stored under the sink, we would have been happy to displace temporarily the toaster and coffee machine for the duration of mealtime. Obviously kitchentop space is limited on a boat, and so we understand there was not the possibility of a small microwave being out all the time, but if one had been available (stored away) I think it would have greatkly expanded our ability to eat in.

This might be my favorite spot I ever stayed on vacation. I always dreamed of life on a boat in a canal in Amsterdam and for 4 days I got to live the dream.

Nothing! It’s awesome

We had a wonderful two-night stay. The host was friendly, attentive, and readily available if needed. The houseboat offers stunning views and a unique atmosphere, with swans, ducks, and seagulls often passing by. The location is also excellent, just a short distance from the city center, making it both scenic and convenient.

Not ideal for those with arachnophobia.

Do not pass Go, do not collect $200 - STAY HERE!!! This was such a unique and delightful experience!! Koen and Olivia were super-gracious hosts, got us everything we needed, most of it before we even got there! They were very happy to share advice on transit, grocery stores, and attractions. But most importantly, the Houseboat Concordia is SO CUTE and comfortable!! We were RIGHT on the water, IN the canal. Every night, we came back and had a glass of wine (or beer) at the table, with the sliding door wide open to the canal, waving at the people as they motored by in their little electric-powered boats - it was AWESOME!!!

Nothing, really - they had a heat wave while we were there, and nobody has a/c, but they provided a nice big fan which worked great! And that's out of their control.

The location was a short walk from tram stops that could take you right into the city centre. The property was beautiful and comfortable, exactly as in the photos. We were met with warm service at check in and great attention to detail in everything provided. We would definitely stay again

The view⛵️ The calm Owners who are really sweet and so nice🩷🥰 The location THE BED --> very quality sleep 🛌 Nice intention from the owners ( breakfast, tulipes on the table.. ) 🩷 What a pleasure to wake up here each morning, we had an amazing time, i'll come back for sure next time!

Such a wonderful Amsterdam experience to stay in a river boat on the canal and watch the boats cruise by, and the many birds! It is a beautiful setting and very peaceful. Everything was perfect, and it was so cozy and warm and bright, even in the winter. Our host was so helpful and kind, and even had wine and beer for us, and breakfast goodies. A fridge was a bonus. The location was great! You could walk or bike to many tourist sites.

Loved this place. The room was spacious and had everything we needed including a mini fridge. Waking up next to the water was perfect. The location was great as well and our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Hot water went out 2x, but the owner was very responsive and fixed it quickly! I think the description said it had a city view, but it didn’t have one.

It was in an amazing spot, very clean and tidy, it’s all round just a beautiful boathouse. The host was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. I messaged them to say we were celebrating my wife 40th and when we turned up there was bubbly in the fridge, beers, flowers and a happy birthday banner ☺️ We will be returning..Do not hesitate in booking this beautiful boat. You won’t regret it.

Very enjoyable stay overlooking a relatively quiet stretch of canal. A lovely way to while away the evenings relaxing as the boats pass. Everything was very easy, from finding the boat, to checking in, etc. Thank you!

Koen and Olivia were the most fantastic hosts. We stayed for my mum's birthday and they went above and beyond to make it an even more special trip by providing decorations, bottle of bubbles and even some cake. The houseboat itself was beautifully decorated and clean with great facilities. It was an amazing experience to stay on the canals of Amsterdam. There were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Would highly recommend a stay at Koen and Olivia's houseboat!

Very clean and tidy just right by the canal , quite and peaceful environment,.it’s convenient to every thing: bus stop, supermarket restaurant s. And the owner was helpful and friendly.

Staying at the Houseboat Concordia was a unique and special experience. It was in a peaceful neighborhood but with quick access to the bus, tram, a market and restaurants. You could get anywhere pretty easily and quickly. Our host stocked up the place with wonderful staples (cereal, milk, coffee, tea, etc). We loved quiet evenings on the canal! We had a wonderful, memorable stay and definitely want to go back! We highly recommend it!

The owner very kindly provided many vegan products for breakfast. We loved watching all the boats that went by and the work in the shipyard opposite the boat Fresh flowers on our arrival were lovely and thank you for the wonderful beer in the fridge

The entrance from the road to the boat’s front door was poor. Uneven and needing repairs. The bed was slightly uncomfortable

Excellent location, wonderful host, beautiful boat, close by to all places to see (take bus 22 to Centraal St), right next to a smoked meat house (must try). DE PLANTAGE restaurant is a relaxed yet posh place with food 10/10 and prices just slightly higher than any other restaurant in Amsterdam. Beer in bars excellent. Get those €€ ready and enjoy the city!

Lovely location and everything we needed for our stay. Very welcoming hosts and good access to shops and other food outlets. Perfect for exploring Amsterdam, If walking gets to much it is quick and easy to get an Uber

Absolutely everything, genuinely. I've never stayed somewhere where there hasn't been a single niggle or thing I would change or improve. Koen was an amazing host, our flight didn't land until 9pm and he was very accommodating with providing a late check-in for us. Very welcoming, very knowledgeable about the area and all the best places to go etc. He even kitted us out with booze and breakfast goodies!! Impeccable utilities and the views!! Sensational. Ideally located with plenty of cafés and local shops nearby. A lovely walk into the centre too past the NEMO museum. I honestly couldn't express how amazing Koen made our trip with his beautiful B&B. So perfect. Thank you so so much. We will most definitely be returning!! X P.s. it's so much bigger than the pictures inside!

Perfect location, lovely waking up to the view of the canal. Bus stop just outside, or it’s a nice 20 minute walk in to the town. The host is very friendly and accommodating. We stupidly left our travel adapters at home but he had some to hand to lend us. He recommended a lovely Italian restaurant which was absolutely incredible. Will definitely stay again!

The only thing I would say is the towels need to be bigger. And there is nothing to step on to when getting out of the shower so the floor gets wet. That’s the only thing I can think of.

Probably not a bed and breakfast. Dry goods only. That having been said just as good as any hotel room. Interesting location in an ethnic part. Accessible for the main part and station by bus or on foot. Friendly owner. Even though it’s a boat no motion to speak of.

Houseboat Concordia was such a cool place to stay in Amsterdam! Gracious host, comfy, cute accommodation on a quieter canal. It was really nice to have our own space and to have a little kitchenette for light breakfasts, making our own coffee, etc. Nice to have fruit, milk, cereals, etc. provided, and we could refill our reusable water bottles right at the tap. Bathroom was a really good size, adequate pressure in the shower, etc. Hairdryer provided, but bring your own bath toiletries. Loved how the sun streamed in the canal-facing big slider door in the afternoon, really bright and cheery (and we just closed the curtains during the day when we weren't there to keep it cooler). Koen was very responsive and excellent about answering our questions before we arrived, and was kind enough to hold our luggage at the Houseboat for a few hours since we arrived well before check-in time. Also he left us a bottle of wine and some local beers, such a thoughtful touch.

We're active and like to walk a lot so it worked fine for us, but this Houseboat is a little further from a lot of the main attractions, museums, home offices for bike/boat tours starting, etc. We put on a TON of steps (earned our cheese and beers!), which we were fine with, but it might be important for others to know. There are public transit options nearby also, that we didn't try.

Everything was spectacular. The location was great and within walking distance of restaurants, museums, and easily accessible public transport. The space was so cozy and the views were even better than the pictures. We enjoyed breakfast and morning coffee while sitting at the table overlooking the canal and watching the swans swim by. We had such a lovely stay and our hosts were so accommodating and thoughtful. We will definitely visit again and book our stay here.
