The bed was nice and overall it was a good stay. The bathroom could be more cleaned though. Staff was pleasant and helpful. And Location was in the center.

Good location, the pods are nice and useful, clean (obvious requirement, but for some reason shared accommodation tends not to be) and excellent water pressure. I will repeat if I go back to Amsterdam.

Price, not cheap for a pod barely the size of a bed in a room with 20 other pods, and common showers and toilets. The bed is a brick if that is an issue to you. Breakfast was dreadful... decide to breakfast elsewhere.

There was a cafe/restaurant on the ground floor and there were community spaces for people to go rather than being loud in the rooms

We did not realise this was a hostel. It was very expensive for the quality of room we got. The mattresses were terrible and you could feel the springs and the pillows were very flat. There were still guests being loud in the hallways and in their rooms playing loud music and disrupting sleep. The lift buttons were very difficult to use

The temperature was not regulated, the bed wasn't comfortable, the toilets and shower were not good, the room was extremely small, I didn't find any shared activity coordinated...

We liked Apo the bar man he was very helpful. The building was really quirky and characterful . Nice sausages and coffee at breakfast and good cocktails

The scrambled eggs at breakfast were overcooked and cold. Could have provided towels without an extra charge. Parking was a bit expensive as we had no alternative but to bring our car.

It was a good location out of the central city but really easy to catch the tram to get where you needed to go. The room was big enough and had ample places to hang clothes and the bathroom was clean. Everything looked just like the pictures online. We didn't have the breakfast but we did eat at the cafe a couple of times and the food was good. All of the staff were helpful and friendly.

The room has separate toilet, bathroom and basin so that even if staying in a 6 pax dormitory room, all of us can use everything separately. When i need padlock, towel and hairdryer, the reception has it. The surrounding area is greenery, so I can just walk around the park when I feel bored.

The 3 tiers bunkbed level 2 is not really comfortable because the gap between the bed is too short, can not even sit down before sleep. It’s better to choose 4 pax dormitory room.

I liked that it was close to a park so the surroundings were quiet. It had good transport links into the city. Someone on reception 24/7 all the staff I spoke to were really helpful.

I had the highest bunk which was hard work getting out of so next time I think if I stayed I'd request a bottom or second level bunk.

The place feels very social with enough different corners for people to relax, read or dine. The location is really good as a base and makes any further planning easy. The staff members are friendly and clear with instructions. The room itself is decent, for the amount of money there is not much to complain about.

The other guests were loud even when it was already very late. But one understands that there is always a risk when staying in a dormitory in a hostel. The drawers underneath the beds are storage (bring your own lock or buy from staff) and it makes a lot of noises when being used.

La habitación de de 4 perdonas con 2 literas muy pequeña, tampoco estaban incluidas las toallas las tuvimos que pagar, no había gel de baño, las camas si hacer. Tampoco era tan barato como para no dar estas prestaciones!!!!!

The pods themselves were great, and a decent size. The showers were decent.

Pod USB ports not working. Vital!! People having zero respect when entering the pod area. Continuing loud conversations and socialising right outside pods when others are trying to sleep. Also the banging of the pod doors when with a little care they do not need to be slammed. Also on Tuesday morning it sounded like a full on party due to something going on right behind my pod (B03) in the canteen very very early. Impossible to sleep through that. The breakfast.... big mistake in paying £15 per day for that. It was so bad that I didn't even turn up for it the second day and the third and final day I just got coffee. Not even real fruit juice! Egg and Sausage for the only cooked breakfast option. If it had not been for the coffee machine I would have demanded a refund after the first morning.

Les chambres sont minuscules c’est impossible de faire quelquechose sans réveiller tout le monde, il y a 3 lits superposés c’est vraiment très galère d’être tout en haut. On m’a demandé 10€ PAR NUIT pour stocker mon vélo ce qui me semble aberrant, je n’ai jamais payé pour ce service dans beaucoup d’autres hostels. Le check-in est très long. Pas de cuisine ni même une bouilloire ou un micro-ondes. Le wifi ne fonctionne pas bien. Bref pas top rapport qualité prix car ce n’est pas non plus l’auberge la moins chère d’Amesterdam, je pense que l’on peut trouver mieux !

L'emplacement, le style de l'hôtel et son aménagement, sa déco, il est très bien situé, bel environnement.

Pas de savon dans la douche, les lits sont à faire à l'arrivée, les serviettes de bain sont en supplément, manque un petit meuble ou un placard pour poser les affaires.

Warm and friendly staff, beautiful location right outside a park and close to grocery stores and tram stops. Room was clean and comfortable and when we had broken lights the staff were quick to bring maintenance in and fix things quickly!

Sie war nicht direkt im Zentrum, deswegen war es schön ruhig. Man hat ein Park direkt um sich rum. Trotzdem innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit der Tram oder 20 bis 25 Minuten zu Fuß vom Zentrum weg daher ideale Lage.

Esta a 15 minutos en tram del centro de Amsterdam, igual la zona es muy bonita y tranquila, es justo de cara al parque entonces se puede salir a pasear. Tiene bastantes amenities (un restaurante/cafeteria, una sala de estar, biblioteca, etc.), igual los chicos en recepcion son muy amables y es muy facil hacer todo el tema de check-in y check-out

La alfombra que se tiene fuera de las habitaciones olia a antiguo/humedo. asimismo mi cama tenia un poco de migas antes de que llegue.

La habitación es muy reducida y es complicado desenvolverse a veces. El cuarto de baño que tiene todos los aparatos independientes (wc, ducha y lavabo).

Ill be honest, this was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve had in a hostel. I paid for early check in which wasn’t ready. Staff were either incredibly rude, dry and unhelpful or rather nice. No in between. Room was utterly diabolical with two sets of three bunkbeds concealing all natural light from the windows. A staff member came into our dorm at about 3 am and was havig an argument with a guest and when I queried this the next morning there was no record and I was told to go to reception if it happens again because “yeah that should not happen” Basic amenities such as body wash were available for a price of a few euros but only teeeeeny tiny travel versions. Vending machine had water for €1.50 but wouldn't dispense water but it could be bought for €3+ euro in reception funny that. Staff were just pretty unhelpful couldn't even lend me a phone charger from one of the many you could boldly assume are in lost property. Breakfast was lacklustre for a continental at €14 but the coffee was nice! Shower was poor but warm and the room didn’t even include a shower mat despite the shower drenching the entire floor. Oh and to top it off the cleaner climbed on my bedsheets in her shoes to clean the bed above mine… WHILST I WAS IN IT.

Le personnel est vraiment adorable et serviable. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec notre première chambre (odeur de cigarette très forte), mais on nous a changé tout de suite de chambre et offert une boisson pour s'excuser. La vue depuis les chambres est superbe, sur un grand parc, et l'ambiance générale de l'hôtel est superbe, des espaces divers et variés, tout ce qu'il nous fallait.

Le confort des lits n'était pas terrible et le ménage aurait pu être plus poussé, l'emplacement était idéal pour nos besoins mais si vous cherchez à visiter le centre d'Amsterdam, vous êtes un peu loin.

Good, tidy place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They solved my problem right away. The room was really comfy and the shower/toilette was clean and well maintained. I liked the fact bathroom was in the room and not in the corridor. Lockers under the beds were really big and fit all my things. The hostel seems very popular and busy place, there are hundreds of rooms so there’s lot or people. If you like smaller quiet hostels it may not be suitable for you.

I've traveled the world to over 8 countries, stayed in countless hostels, and absolutely all of them had kitchens for guests. A hostel with a kitchen is the bare minimum; honestly, I didn't even know a hostel without a kitchen was possible. Why exactly would someone stay in a hostel if not to cook? In that case, it's better to stay at an Ibis. Especially a hostel of that size with so much space and the price they charge. The place has an amphitheater but no kitchen. Their values are wrong. Even if it's not explicitly stated that there's a kitchen, it's not clearly declared, and that's a basic expectation. It's like renting a car but not getting wheels. A regrettable experience; I wasted my money.

Nos hospedamos por dos noches, todo muy limpio y ambiente tranquilo. Nuestra habitación era muy cómoda y con mucho espacio.

De locatie en de bedden. Daarnaast zag het hostel er schoon uit. (Hygiënisch is een groot woord) en ligt het naast een mooi park.

Het ontbijt. Op drie minuten fietsen was er een Albert heijn waar ik voor €4 een naar mijn mening beter ontbijt heb gehad dan voor €14,50 bij het hostel. Het ontbijt was niet heel uitgebreid of bijzonder.

Tolles freundliches Personal Einfaches Zimmer aber für eine Nacht okay, Frühstück war gut und preislich okay Super Lage Gerne wieder.

What I liked most was the location, right in the middle of the park and facing the water. Unfortunately, almost everything else was negative.

The 6-bed rooms are far too small. Even the storage spaces are impractical, as when they are opened, they completely block the narrow walkways. The biggest issue, however, is that the WINDOWS CANNOT BE OPENED. This seems to be a common feature of this hostel chain, as I noticed the same thing at their Madrid location. Sleeping for four nights in a room shared by six people, with NO WINDOWS THAT CAN BE OPENED and therefore no proper ventilation, is extremely unhealthy and uncomfortable. Breakfast was not included, eating there was very expensive, and the service was poor. The staff often seemed impatient and, at times, even rude. The man working at the buffet who wears glasses was by far the worst part of the experience and really overshadowed everything else. The female staff members did try to make up for his attitude and help resolve the situation, but it was difficult.

Tout est sécurisé, Il faut sa carte d’accès pour débloquer l’établissement mais aussi l’étage, la buanderie… Les salles communes sont chouettes, beaucoup de jeux et de l’espace pour étudier. Et l’accès direct au parc est très sympa. Tram à proximité.

Beaucoup de bruit provenant des voisins du dessus. Et petit détail : les serviettes de toilette ne sont pas compris dans le prix de la chambre.

i stayed in a shared bedroom with 6 people, women only. the location is great and the surroundings are beautiful! staff are also nice and there’s plenty of entertainment in the hostel if you want. there’s big lockers inside the room, just bring a padlock to keep your stuff

We had a great time, however I needed to leave my bike for two more days in ykur storage and was asked to pay an additional 10 euros a day. Concidering we were 4 paying people , we found this request not apropreate. Moreover, the checkout time at 10:00 is too early when traveling with kids. When we asked to stay half an hour longer, we were asked to pay 5 euros per person, which again, concidering we were 4 paying guests, was a lot to ask.

By the way, the water was pooling in the sink. And guests in the upper beds should have a protection against room light, as the lower beds have, curtain or something.

A localização, dentro do Oosterpark é incrível, além de perto do centro e dos transportes públicos. O hostel também oferece uma vibe interessante e decoração descolada.

Os quartos privativos poderiam oferecer toalhas e mais itens de amenidades. Também poderia ter opção de cama de casal.

Room was clean, comfortable and as advertised. Service was great. Food was great. We ate at the buffet breakfast and ordered dinner one night. We travelled with 3 kids who enjoyed the atmosphere and the games available to play.

Su ubicación es muy buena, cerca del centro pero en un lugar tranquilo, al lado de un parque. Tiene ambiente, el bar y el restaurante están muy bien y muchos restaurantes cercanos.

Nada mas llegar nos hicieron esperar una hora para hacer el check-in, y porqué llamamos a Booking y ellos contactaron con el Hotel.. Perdimos una excursión. Cuando entramos a la habitación, nos habían dejado las sábanas y tuvimos que hacer las 4 camas de las literas ( lo que supone ). El Aire acondicionado se notaba poco y eso que la semana que estuvimos estaba lloviendo. El inodoro por el lateral sucio. Uno de los colchones con manchas. Las habitación NO son silenciosas, no se puede descansar. La mampara de la ducha le faltaba la goma para evitar la fuga de agua al exterior. El desayuno poco variado, repetitivo la comida, la misma toda la semana. Al dia siguiente observamos que NO nos habían hecho la habitación, lo consultamos en recepción y nos comentaron que habían cambiado la norma recientemente, en Booking figuraba que la limpieza era DIARIA, al insistir fue cuando nos dijeron que podríamos solicitar la limpieza en recepción. Se indicaba en Booking que tenía mesa de pin pon y lo que hay era una mesa de billar averiada. Ningún empleado del hotel hablaban español, ni si quiera en la propia recepción. Por pate del hotel recibimos una disculpa.

L’assenza di pulizie in camera, gli asciugamani a pagamento, i costi eccessivi del deposito bagagli. Nella settimana del pacchetto vacanze di gruppo, la colazione offerta era con poche cose, sempre le stesse. Mancava il latte caldo, il primo giorno non c’era il pane. Non c’è stata disponibilità da parte della struttura a venire incontro alle richieste delle famiglie.

Absolut super Lage. Keine 5 Minuten entfernt sind zwei Tram Haltestellen mit denen man super direkt in Zentrum fahren kann. Der Park und die Ruhe sind auch super. Betten sind gut, allerdings etwas kurz wenn man groß ist. Frühstück ist ok, nix besonderes.

Klimaanlage tut überhaupt nicht. Keine Fenster im Zimmer welche man öffnen kann, Waschbecken läuft nicht ab, obwohl der Hausmeister kam und es wohl repariert hat.

The cafe/bar downstairs was lovely, the room overlooking the park was clean and the park was fabulous. An easy tram ride to the busier part of town.

Very disappointing experience. We were three people and explicitly requested to stay in the same room, but this was completely ignored. The hostel was extremely noisy, the dorms were tiny, and the bunk beds were uncomfortably high and felt unsafe (one guy felt down in the night from the third floor bunk bed and went to the hospital). The receptionist was unfriendly, and the location was far from central Amsterdam, in a park that, even if Amsterdam is a very safe city, felt unsafe at night due to drunk people and homeless people around. Prices were ridiculously high: €12.50 per suitcase just for luggage storage, expensive breakfast, overpriced food, and even coffee costing more than at some of the best cafés in central Amsterdam. There was no kitchen, and bringing your own food or water was explicitly forbidden. Last but not least: the door of the locker was broken and fallen on my nose: I almost broke it (still remains marks on it) and my vacation was ruined! This is the exact opposite of what a hostel should be: affordable, welcoming and safe.
