Majitelé byli velice milí a přívětivý. Pokoj byl útulný. Na přespání ideální, snídaně formou kontinentálního košíku byla výborná. Do centra města je to pěšky 10 minut. Mila procházka a ve městě doporučujeme navštívit Tynan's Bridge House Bar (Irish pub) - naprosto skvělá atmosféra. Moc dekujeme za příjemný pobyt!!

Was close to city center owner made a real cute picnic basket every morning at a reasonable time . He helped you when he about the area .cleaned room daily for us was 👏.

Bed not soft enough

Struttura carinissima, stanza ampia, l'host è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Ottima colazione consegnata direttamente dietro la porta della stanza, con prodotti tipici ed altri più "continentali". Si arriva agevolmente in centro a piedi, e la zona residenziale è super tranquilla e silenziosa.

The host Liam was fantastic. Our room was super clean and spacious, and the picnic basket breakfast was massive

The breakfast was really enjoyable, absolutely loved the breakfast basket delivery to my room ,never had that experience before in any bed and breakfast. The comfort of the bed 10 out of 10,and also the amazing shower ,great water pressure. And also not forgetting the hosts .very professional and genuine people. I will definitely stay at castle lodge bed and breakfast kilkenny again .

Host was polite and hospitable. Room was clean and had everything we needed. We were brought a lovely basket in the morning with fresh pastries, cereal, fruit, juice, etc. it was a wonderful stay and we would stay again.

The bed was quite hard, but we were able to sleep.

Spectacular accommodation, incredibly cozy, and in a great location. The room was beautiful, super comfortable, bright, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. Arriving by car, having free on-site parking made things so easy and convenient for us. A special mention goes to Liam, the owner—he was hilarious and loves a good joke, which made us laugh so much! At the same time, he was deeply respectful, friendly, and exceptionally hospitable throughout our stay. He kindly helped us with our luggage, and we really enjoyed our lovely chat with him in the afternoon. I also have to highlight the fantastic in-room breakfast, which was left in a charming basket right at our door. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay! We had an absolute blast and are so grateful to Liam. We couldn't be happier with our experience at Castle Lodge B&B Kilkenny!

It was clean, comfortable and had a table and chairs. The breakfast was absolutely adorable. What a great idea to serve breakfast for two in a picnic basket for private dining in your room. Loved it!

Very comfortable room, good bed, on the back of the house, so very quiet. Very nice host who gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation.

Großes sehr sauberes Zimmer und Bad, Frühstück im Korb war sehr gut und vielfältig, hat für uns ausgereicht. Kann man gut zu viert im Zimmer verzehren, da Sitzmöbel vorhanden und ausreichend Platz zur Verfügung steht

Bad ohne Fenster klein, könnte daher noch einen Haken zum Aufhängen der Waschtasche gebrauchen ( wir hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht)

Nos alojamos una única noche, tamaño de la habitación bien, es bastante amplia, todo muy correcto, sin grandes lujos, pero confortable. A destacar, la cesta con el desayuno, es muy completa, de calidad y está todo muy bueno.

El tamaño de la ducha y del lavabo, en general en Irlanda son muy pequeños. Hemos estado 8 noches en Irlanda y es una de las cosas que me llaman la atención

Il proprietario ci ha accolto subito e con un bel sorriso! Parcheggio interno, comodo. Lasciando l'auto si arriva a piedi, anche attraverso il parco, al Kilkenny Castle, in 10min circa di camminata, quindi anche ottima vicinanza al centro paese. Colazione in stanza varia e abbondante.

It was in a quiet spot about 10 minute of a walk from city center. Super cute breakfast basket delivered outside of the door- non invasive! Room was spacious and facilities were clean with fresh towels and soap provided everyday.

Struttura molto bella, curata e pulita. Dotata di tutto ciò che serve. Colazione ottima, servita direttamente in camera in un cestino. A 10-15 minuti dal castello (consiglio di andare a piedi perché ci sono pochi parcheggi). Padrone di casa fantastico, gentile e molto simpatico!

Walking distance to city. Plenty of onsite parking. Area appeared to be very safe. We walked a lot. Property was very clean. Host available and very pleasant.

Proprietari gentilissimi, ottima posizione, comodo parcheggio, stanza ampia e pulita. Colazione straordinaria!!

Veldig koselig B&B med veldig hyggelig eier. Frokost var inkludert i prisen og det ble satt en frokostkurv foran døra på morningen, slik at man kunne spise på rommet. Stort rom og fint bad.

Det var ingenting jeg ikke likte.

Struttura in posizione buona per raggiungere con una passeggiata di 7-8 minuti sia il castello che il centro. Ampio parcheggio riservato agli ospiti. I proprietari sono cordiali e puntuali. Colazione servita in un simpatico cestino alle 8,30 in punto all’uscio della camera. La nostra camera (8) al primo piano, ampia, luminosa e tranquilla. Bagno con doccia efficiente. Pulizia della camera ogni mattina.

Breakfast was presented very well,fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese ,croissant, fresh milk,tea or coffee.

Ottima posizione, Host gentile e disponibile e meravigliosa colazione servita in camera con picnic basket. Tutto era ottimo e abbondante.

Geräumige Unterkunft mit guter Parkmöglichkeit am Haus. Das Zentrum ist fussläufig gut erreichbar. Wir haben den Weg am Wasser entlang bevorzugt, da ohne Autoverkehr und durch Bäume gut beschattet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der umfangreiche Frühstückskorb. Schöne Idee.

Easy parking and an easy 15.min walk.into the castle ((partway through the castle park) . Basket picnic breakfasts were very delicious with warm croissants... coffee and tea in the room .

Our host was outstanding. The special breakfast was a highlight. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed our time in Kilkenny.

Vi fik først håndklæder om morgenen. Der var utroligt varmt på værelset men ingen form for ventilation andet end åbne vinduer. Badeværelset var småt og slidt.

Nos gustó mucho la estancia en este B&B. La habitación era súper amplia y muy bien decorada, con todo lo necesario para estar cómodos unos dias. El anfitrión super amable, el desayuno fantástico, muy completo. El poder aparcar en la propia casa. Muy recomendable!!

L'accès au B&B est facile, le parking est spacieux. La douche est pratique et facile à utiliser, bonne pression d'eau. Le petit déjeuner est correct, bons produits. Le centre ville de Kilkenny est à proximité, environ 10 mn à pied.

Le matelas est un peu bruyant quand on bouge dans le lit.

Die Ausstattung war ok, Bett bequem, Abstellmöglichkeit auch ganz ok. Das Bad klein, aber für 1 Nacht geht es sehr gut. Gastgeber war super super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück im Korb vor der Tür war eine sehr nette Aktion.

Das Bad war vielleicht etwas beengt, aber für eine Nacht ok.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Castle Lodge B&B. It is located about 20 minutes' scenic walk from Kilkenny, so we got our steps in each day, and we had easy access to that beautiful city. We had breakfast delivered in a picnic basket, and we dined in our room. It was a good simple meal. The room and bath were clean, comfortable and spacious. Off-street parking was ample. The neighborhood was quiet. The cost was moderate; we would be happy to return.
