Unfortunately the room that we booked was not ready. It did had a walk in shower. We were then up graded but we could not have a shower :-( there was no rubber matt to put in the bath to stand on. The bath was very slippery. The bed is small and was soft and I had to sleep on the coach. It would be great if there are 2 single beds in the room that make the bed a bit bigger. Otherwise it is great place.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Rentia war die beste Gastgeberin, die wir seit Jahren hatten. Ihre freundliche und herzliche Art wird uns immer in Erinnerung bleiben. Unser Zimmer, direkt neben ihrer Wohnung, war fantastisch und sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Hier haben wir uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls hervorragend. Am Abend haben wir uns längere Zeit mit Rentia unterhalten und dabei viel über Land und Leute kennengelernt. Wir wären am liebsten noch mehrere Tage in dieser Unterkunft geblieben. An dieser Stelle nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön an Rentia. Liebe Grüße Anja und Jochem

Van te voren netjes geïnformeerd dat de restaurants in Heidelberg op maandag helaas dicht zijn zodat we hierop konden anticiperen. Ontbijt was fantastisch qua smaak en presentatie. Echt een plaatje. Heidelberg is een leuke plaats met een rijke geschiedenis.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Renita was wonderful. We arrived on Christmas Day. The town was very quiet. Renita provided us with dishes so we could prepare food. The grounds are stunningly beautiful. Her breakfast which she served to us outside was fabulous. We took videos of the grounds and shared with friends who were also amazed at all of the varied plant life. She even has a banana tree!

Served us a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast. The interior is so beautiful and made our stay so special and memorable. I loved the balcony overlooking the lush garden and swimming pool. I felt like I was in the countryside of England lol. 5 star stay. Worth every penny

The breakfast was divine and we spent a calm morning watching birds and being at peace before getting back on the road. I have no doubt we will be back.

La habitación estaba fría cuando llegamos y el radiador se queda un poco escaso. En cualquier caso no pasamos frío.

The hostess was exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to assist me, even guiding me to the entrance when I got lost. She prepared a lovely breakfast and took the time to explain things that are often overlooked by other hosts—like how to use the TV and remote. She also showed genuine care about my comfort, even checking in to make sure mosquitoes didn’t become a problem in my room. Overall, a warm and thoughtful stay!

From the moment we arrived, Rentia, the owner, made us feel so welcome with her warmth and kindness. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. One of the highlights was the 5-star breakfast that Rentia personally delivered to our door the following. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was the perfect start to the day. The house itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The bed was super cozy, and it had all the amenities we could possibly need. The peace and quiet of the location made it such a relaxing escape, and waking up each morning to enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony while surrounded by the lush garden was simply perfect. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay and would highly recommend the Fleur Bleue & The timber house to anyone looking for a serene and luxurious getaway in Heidelberg! we can't wait to be back.

Spacious ,comfortable, and very well appointed. Milk, water, and coffee pods supplied. Breakfast was included and was delicious, served in the house. The owner very kindly sorted out our mixup with the booking too HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and Excellent value for .money.

Reviewed Feb 17, 2025What an absolute gem... a true unexpected find. This lovely wooden house looks like a fairy-tale house but is actually based on the Zakopane style architecture. It is super-spacious and very cozy and beautiful inside. On top of that, our hostess Rentia cooked up the most amazing not only delicious but a true artwork of a breakfast (see pic) ... like finding a piece of Poland hosting a Michelin restaurant right there in Heidelberg. An absolute treat!

It has such a lot of personal touches which gives you an insight to the personalities of the owners. It was not just a stay, they welcomed us warm heartedly….the breakfast was the best I ever had. That was a winner for sure. It was an amazing place.

About the House nothing. A great place. About Heidelberg - very limited options to eat - you're probably least bad with the Wimpy at the petrol station. Everything else except the Delish (whose meat gave us food poisoning) will be closed.

Reviewed Dec 24, 2024Wonderful place, beautifully crafted by the owner himself. We could enjoy spacious rooms to meditate or do yo yoga and a kitchen with everything at hand. There are two bathrooms to find peace within. The garden receives a lot of attention, we learnt more about the local plants by chatting with Rentia, who was always keen on providing us with info. Her exquisite breakfast brought us sunshine for the whole day.
