Very welcoming hosts, spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated. Breakfast was lovely and proper decent bacon. Communication with Una was excellent. Property located a short walk from the city centre and plenty of parking outside.

A very comfortable and well appointed room. The hosts were great - good communications, very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and provided a delicious breakfast. They also let us securely store our bicycles in their garage overnight, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend

The bed was slightly narrower than we were used to. Still comfortable though.

The decor was beautiful. The room was spotlessly clean, bright and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable as well. Lovely deep bath- honestly one of the best anywhere we've stayed. The hosts were really down to earth and friendly, really attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

There wasn't anything not to like

We loved everything about the Lodge, from the friendly and welcoming owners who were very flexible to our late arrival. To the tasty breakfast in the morning and the close proximity to the old town via ‘the walks’ park, to the well appointed and large comfortable room which had everything we needed. A nice touch also to have a mini fridge with milk and bottled water.

There was nothing to dislike

Super comfortable bed.. decor was lovely and fresh.. Great location, very quiet and peaceful. 10min walk into town.. host was very friendly and made a great breakfast

The hotel owners were very welcoming on arrival, overnight stay was nice and quiet and situated in a good location, breakfast was very nice and would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The only thing I feel the hotel lacked was the shower room, the shower was very poor, water pressure was poor and I would recommend an electric shower to improve its performance.

Second stay at the Lodge, lovely place, clean and comfortable, nice bed sheets, pillows and duvets. Nice breakfast and cater for gluten intolerance very well

Malcolm carried our suitcase upstairs. Lovely room with a bath and shower, two comfy armchairs and a little table with current magazines. Nice old type dresser with Tea/ Coffee etc. Lovely middle area outside the bathroom with a modern wonderful lighted dresser and stool. Plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, cooked well! Ten out of Ten. Would definitely stay there again when visiting relatives.

Shower head was not very powerful. New shower head would solve that and I really should have mentioned it. No hot chocolate sachets.

The hosts were really welcoming. The bright sunny room was lovely and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble - for example one of us was doing a park run and couldn't have breakfast so the hosts provided a breakfast cum lunch which was very welcome.

Una & Malcolm could not have done more. Welcoming, cleanliness, the expert decor, beautiful breakfast (easily catering for my Coeliac issues), attention to every detail and excellent suggestion from Una ref evening meal 'Mem's Kitchen' in King'sLynn was spot on. If we are ever in the area we won't be looking elsewhere. Thank you so much

Delicious freshly cooked breakfast, cereal, juice, toast, coffee, tea - delicious. Hosts Malcolm and Ena very friendly and welcoming.

Our stay at The Lodge was brilliant. Very clean and comfortable room. Perfect breakfast and the hosts Una and Malcolm are warm and friendly. Such a lovely home away from home and we would definitely stay again.

Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Unterkunft war für uns ideal, Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Auch das Frühstück war lecker und mit einer guten Auswahl. Wir haben uns während unseres kurzen Aufenthalts sehr wohlgefühlt und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Lovely couple running the place, splendid breakfast, but the star item was the telly. A Smart telly, that works and also has an aerial, so you can get proper live telly, plus I was able to watch iPlayer and Youtube. But even better, it's customised. It's been mounted onto an old, vintage, dressing table, in place of the mirror, giving you a stylish item to look at even when it's not on. Total Changing Places meets Grand Designs.

Only thing would be that we were woken up at 5:30am from the sunlight streaming through the blinds. Blackout blinds/curtains would be great especially in summer

Lovely well run B&B in nice town. Property has a great location with an easy walk through a beautiful park into the town centre. The room was clean and had everything you would expect from a very good bed and breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent. The breakfast included fresh strawberries and blueberries which was a great bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

The Lodge is in a quiet residential area but close enough to walk into town. We found street parking opposite the house. Warm and friendly welcome and conversation from Una and Malcolm - great hosts. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. The bed and the bedding was comfortable. We liked the small fridge with complimentary bottles of water and a small bottle of fresh milk for us to make tea s and coffees from the complimentary items provided. Great breakfast! Full cooked English breakfast and we were able to help ourselves to fruits, yoghurt, juice and cereal. Endless toast and tea delivered to our table.

Beautiful place, bedrooms and public rooms were lovely and very clean and everywhere was very nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious and Urma and her daughter are fantastic hosts.

Everything was perfect. Location was to find. Within walking distance to town centre and quayside. Room was large, spacious, very clean. Fan available! Bathroom was well fitted, shower clean and good power. It's very obvious that the owners care about quality. Breakfast was nice and sufficient. Liked the welcome and friendliness of host. Thank you.

Everywhere was clean. There were plenty of storage options in the bedroom along with lighting and the en-suite had sufficient storage space and also a couple of lighting options. There was a desk and chair along with a comfortable chair. We really liked the provision of plenty of water both in and outside of the fridge.

We had been expecting a carpark but instead it was on street parking. We didn’t have a problem trying to park but the expectation had been set. As it had been many years since we had stayed at a BnB we were surprised to be asked what time we wanted breakfast with 9am being the latest available even on a Sunday. This wasn’t an issue just unexpected and the weather was far too nice to stay in bed anyway!

Excellent througout. Spotless, everything was perfect - and hosts Oona and Malcolm went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable. Highly recommended.

The hosts were very welcoming, the rooms are neat, tidy, and beautifully furnitured. There is Coffee, Tea and fresh milk in the room. In the morning you get served a freshly made full english breakfast, just perfect!

The welcome and introduction from Una struck the right balance between friendliness and professionalism offering just the right amount of time to go through the details and offer any insights that we were after on location and places to eat. This turned out just right with a very good selection and nice atmosphere at a good price point. Breakfast was freshly prepared and very good with milk alternatives on offer.

Ideally would like off street parking however turned out to be safe enough. Walking into town was ~15mins through the town park - It was very well lit so you did feel safe as a couple - solo female traveller may feel different. However, this really is a minor point.
