The wifi didnt work where we were placed. They advertised that the facility had wifi. Was a bit inconvenient.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Its affordable, comfortable and location is the best 👌🏻 So close to Nahoon Beach and Beach Break Coffee Shop, and minutes away from anything. Eugene and his team were friendly and accomodated our late check in.
The floors are all tiled (which is good for the sea sand) but not for the noisy neighbours. Some people people don't know ow how to speak softly in the passages.

The beds were hard and extremely uncomfortable. The TV channels are boring, no streaming channels like Netflix, or youtube on TV channels Guests are noisy, no quiet signs posted in passages warning guest who arrive late or arrive or leave early morning to keep noise levels low. People were talking loud in the wee hours of the night, disturbing the rest of the guests on the floor Lighting in the room was poor with some lights not working There was mould or dirt on the windows

The noise upstairs was too much, it was as if there was furniture being dragged across the floor. Especially at odd tones of the night like 2am/3am. There was no breakfast even when they said there’s breakfast on the listing

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026The location is fantastic, with beautiful ocean views and the beach within easy walking distance. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable — honestly one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on! We stayed here twice, once on our way up and again on our return journey. The accommodation was comfortable overall and the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and chatty on our second visit. The kitchenette is basic, with a fridge and microwave rather than full cooking facilities, but it was adequate for an overnight stay. The location is definitely the highlight, and despite a few issues, we would stay here again.
There were a few maintenance issues that could use some attention. Some of the door locks were difficult to use properly, and the TV reception was very fuzzy. On our second stay we also noticed a few bugs coming out from around the room. There are quite a few stairs to reach the accommodation, and the access to the loft is very steep, so this is worth keeping in mind if travelling with young children, lots of luggage or anyone with mobility difficulties. None of these were deal-breakers for us, but addressing the maintenance issues would definitely improve the overall experience.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Excellent location in an upmarket suburb and close to the beach. Very welcoming check in experience and check out was seamless, Eugene was lovely. A secure garage for our vehicle was a great bonus. Good quality bedding and comfortable mattress. Great overall value for money and a good choice for a shorter stay (no self-catering/cooking facilities, except a microwave).
The kitchen light did not work (a crackling/zapping sound also emanating from the light switch when you used the switches) . Little ventilation and no extractor fan for the bathroom. The front door with its frosted glass panels lets in quite a bit of light at night from the passageway.

The cockroaches we a slight problem. But the host explained they have fumigated a lot already but it seems to be a whole city problem. The cleaners do not clean properly. A lot of dust on the floors and under the bed still. Caught 2 of them chilling in my room whilst on cleaning duty. They said they were done but the floor was dirty still and it's been a while since they sweeped under the bed. The noise levels must also be checked coz the Hope FC team made a huge noise from 7:30-10:00am like they booked out the whole place for the themselves..
