Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Breakfast was exceptional. Quality of the food was excellent and very tasty. I would go again just for the breakfast. The food service was quick and efficient. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Can’t walk to supper because the road is too busy but a quick car or taxi ride was possible. This was a minor issue.

Purtroppo siamo arrivati tardi, ma nonostante ciò ci ha accolti con un grande sorriso dandoci da subito preziosi consigli. Colazione buonissima. Comodo il parcheggio. Senza dubbio il miglior soggiorno tra quelli che mi hanno ospitato qui in Irlanda. Grazie.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei euch gefühlt und wenn wir wieder einmal nach Irland kommen, kommen wir ganz bestimmt wieder zu euch. Keine Frage war zu viel. Jeden Abend gab es gekühltes Wasser aufs Zimmer. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und jeder Wunsch wurde erfühlt. Die Zimmer sowie das Badezimmer groß, komfortabel uns sehr sauber. Wir würden gerne noch mehr Punkte vergeben, wenn das möglich wäre.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Kahe korrusega maja, kus pererahvas elas tagumises tiivas. Tuba polnud väga suur aga kõik mahtus ilusti ära. Olime seal 5 päeva ja proovisime läbi kogu hommikusöögi menüü. Toit oli maitsev. Tuba oli puhas ja iga päev koristati kui olime väljas. Omanikud olid väga sõbralikud ja abivalmid. Seda majutust julgen soovitada.
Lähedal oli Castleislandi linnake aga jala sinna ei saanud, sest 100km/h sõidutee oli väga kitsas ja jalakäijatele ruumi ei olnud. See ei ole loomulikult majutuse viga vaid lihtsalt infoks.

Pensjonat jest kameralny, a gospodarze dbają, aby każdy gość czuł się wyjątkowo i komfortowo. Jest bardzo czysto, a łóżka są super wygodne. Śniadania przygotowywane na zamówienie - do wyboru kilka opcji, wszystkie obfite i sycące, a do tego pyszne. W pokoju jest zestaw do kawy/herbaty, dodatkowo na piętrze jest "salonik", gdzie również można się napić czegoś gorącego. Domowa atmosfera zapewnia prawdziwy wakacyjny relaks.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt, das Zimmer war schön und sehr sauber, das Frühstück hervorragend (vor allem auch die selbst gebackenen Toasts / Brote) und die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich herzlich und freundlich. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.
Unser immer lag Richtung Straße, nachts hört man bei offenem Fenster etwas den Verkehr. Das sollte man bedenken, wenn man diesbezüglich empfindlich ist.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Neben der sehr guten Lage, von wo aus viele Ziele gut erreicht werden können, ist vor allem die sehr gute Ausstattung, die größe des Zimmers und die unwahrscheinlich tolle Gastfreundlichkeit hervor zu heben. Das Frühstück ist einfach klasse und vollkommen ausreichend.
Leider waren es "nur" drei Nächte. Gerne jederzeit wieder. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Die Lage ist sehr gut für Ausflüge in den Killarney National Park und nach Dingle... Weiter weg (Kerry oder Beara) sind längere Autofahrten. Connie - der Gastgeber - ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, mit Tips für Ausflüge und welche Strände gut sind. Hat uns auch ein Zimmer nach hinten raus geben können, war deutlich ruhiger und kühler. Frühstück sehr gut.
Liegt direkt an der N23, man hört vorne raus Autos und Lastwagen, aber mit einem Zimmer nach hinten sehr ruhig. Aber dafür schneller in Killarney oder Dingle...

The dining and lounge areas were setup very well and had everything we needed and more. And the breakfast...WOW!!! From the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon to the delicious French pressed coffee and fresh juice. There was much more offered as well! We booked months in advance and the communication was great from the start. Connie and family were so accommodating and truly incredible hosts. I give this property the highest recommendation possible!!!

Als wir nach einem Tagesausflug zurück kamen bei ca. 26° Außentemperatur wurde direkt ohne Nachfrage ein Ventilator für uns aufs Zimmer gestellt, sehr aufmerksam. Frühstück hervorragend.
Die Lodge liegt ziemlich außerhalb, zum nächsten Restaurant muss man etwas fahren.

Reviewed May 30, 2026Wir wurden absolut positiv überrascht von dieser Unterkunft. Preis-/Leistung stimmt hier definitiv für irische Verhältnisse überein. Der Gastgeber und seine Familie sind unheimlich freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer perfekt sauber und gepflegt, sowie das Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Absolut zu empfehlen!
Durch die Lage direkt an der Straße hört man natürlich mal Autos vorbeifahren, was aber wirklich nur ein minimaler Minuspunkt ist, ansonsten gibt es nichts negatives :)

Localisation parfaite entre enneau de Kerry et péninsule de Dingle. Un commentaire regrettait de n'y passer qu'une nuit, nous sommes donc restés 2 nuits. Mais nous regrettons de ne pas y rester plus longtemps

Reviewed Oct 20, 2025Super location for me to drive round the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry. Quiet off road overlooking fields. Excellent Breakfast room and menu choices. Great family hospitality and conversation. A bonus to get the house homemade produce to enjoy.
I think my room was the only one without in-room tea-coffee making ability. If I was part of a couple it wouldn't be a show stopper to pad down to get tea-coffee. But I'd have preferred a room with the facility. Having said that the communal facilities were an excellent provision.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2025The breakfast was really super good and really well prepared! There were several exciting dishes on the morning menu that I have not seen before and they just tasted so good. Beautiful large rooms that were tastefully decorated. Nice living rooms where you could sit and talk, have a cop of coffee. The host Connie and his father were so incredibly helpful and took their time. Very informative about what we should see and where we could have dinner. You really felt welcome here!! The place is perfectly located for a trip to the Ring of Kerry, The Peninsular and Killarney National Park. If I pass by again, I am 120% sure that I will choose Cloghan Lodge

De kamer en badkamer waren zeer comfortabel; het bed lag heerlijk en ik heb uitstekend geslapen. De douche had een krachtige straal, wat erg aangenaam was. Ook het ontbijt was voortreffelijk, met een menukaart vol gevarieerde en smakelijke opties. Als extra biedt de lodge een gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimte waar men ’s avonds nog even rustig kan zitten voor het slapengaan.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2025La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica per visitare alcune zone della costa ovest, e molto vicina al centro abitato (raggiungibile agevolmente in auto). Comprende ampio parcheggio e un bel spazio esterno. È molto caratteristica e curata sia esternamente sia internamente dove offre alcuni spazi per relax degli ospiti. Le camere assegnateci al primo piano una doppia e un tripla, erano pulite, spaziose e fornite dei principali comfort. Nel corridoio c'era anche un punto per prepararsi liberamente tè e caffè. La colazione è variegata e molto buona. Infine, l'host è stato molto cortese all'arrivo consigliandoci anche alcuni posti dove poter cenare dato l'orario tardo. Consiglio assolutamente!

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025Struttura bellissima e molto curata. Camera ampia e pulita. Colazione preparata al momento e buonissima con molta varietà. Proprietario disponibilissimo e ci ha dato consigli su cosa vedere nei dintorni. Anche il posto è perfetto per visitare Dingle e Ring of Kerry.

Hay que desplazarse en coche para ir a otros sitios, no hay gran cosa cerca, pero como base para hacer el anillo de Kerry está bien.
