Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Nous avons passé une excellente nuit dans ce guesthouse. Le couple qui tient l'établissement est vraiment très sympathique et accueillant. Dès notre arrivée, ils ont pris le temps de nous donner de bons conseils. Le petit-déjeuner était très agréable et complet, avec des produits frais et faits maison. Un vrai régal pour bien commencer la journée. une belle vue sur la piscine, et l'emplacement est idéal dans la ville, calme et bien situé pour explorer Mossel Bay. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour un séjour reposant et convivial. Merci encore pour votre accueil !

The location was central to the main area. We would definitely stay at Avenues Guesthouse if we travelled to Mossel Bay again.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Ein wunderschönes grosses Haus mit geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Sehr schöner eingerichteter Aufenthaltsraum im Haupthaus, wo im Aussenbereich auch ein Pool untergebracht ist. Meike und Martin sind perfekte Gastgeber. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker.

I have been to alot of guesthouses but the owners thought of everything from which restaurants are best in town to even having their menu on site so you can plan ahead of time. The breakfast is cooked by them specially! The food is incredible with amazing different tea flavors and coffee. Rooms are neat and clean and the showers are huge with amazing water pressure! We will definitely be coming back!

Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass die Zimmer genau so schön sind, wie auf den Fotos versprochen. Es war alles blitzsauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026Das Gästehaus wird von den beiden Eigentümern sehr professionell und engagiert geführt. Die Zimmer und die Außenanlagen sind blitzblank sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Der hauseigene Parkplatz ist ein Bonus.Man ist schnell in der Stadt, von einigen Restaurants gibt es abends sogar einen kostenlosen Fahrdienst zurück in das Gästehaus. 5 Min entfernt gibt es einen tollen Küstenwanderweg mit atemberaubender Aussicht.

El único pero sin importancia es que el desayuno no tiene nada dulce como galletas, bizcochos, croissants o pancakes por ejemplo. La zona es muy segura

The hosts welcomed us as we arrived, showed us around, and let us know a shuttle service was available to drive us to a restaurant for supper. Our room as well as the rest of the shared spaces were decorated in a beautiful and tasteful manner. Mieke and Martin answered any questions we had about Mossel Bay and gave us a few tips about driving on the left hand side of the road and the unwritten rules of the road in South Africa. We highly recommend this Guesthouse!

Zitje in de privé voortuin had ik fijn gevonden maar met de stoelen van binnen ging het ook prima.

Die Innenstadt ist über einen tollen "Walkway" in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Schöne geräumige uns sehr saubere Zimmer. Tolle Poollandschaft - schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht eingeplant hatten. Nächstes mal sicherlich länger. Tolles Frühstück! Hier passt einfach alles!!

De waterdruk in de douche was vrij laag. Hierdoor kon ook de temperatuur moeilijk ingesteld worden..
