The location is a bit far from the bus stop without a car and difficult to book uber/lyft due to location.

The house was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of coffee, and other breakfast goods readily available. The view is fantastic.

The bathroom door needs to be adjusted, as it is very hard to close quietly. Sound travels, as we could clearly hear the people upstairs, and I assume they also heard us, despite our trying to be quiet.

The view is good, but definitely not as good like the one they show on the picture and the kitchen. They have bagels, croissants, bananas and apples, cereal and some other essentials ( not the best quality, I couldn’t eat anything)

It feels like you’re staying at a hostel. They have 5 bedrooms in the basement with only one bathroom, I believe 2 more bedrooms on the main floor with one bathroom (no shower) and two or three more bedrooms upstairs with one bathroom. The property is clean but poorly maintained.

This property is beautiful and well maintained, it was easy to find and get to. They provide options to have breakfast there, fresh fruit, milk and cereal, bagels etc! The view is beautiful and the house was quiet and relaxing and other guests were friendly!

Mooie ligging rustig, vlakbij verschillende paeken (auto). Ruime kamer proper, vriendelijk personeel, niet steeds aanwezig, maar reageert snel.op berichten.

Weinig variatie in ontbijt ( confituur, pindakaas, vers fruit, granen yoghurt). Alles zelfbediening, de keuken heeft maar 1 kookpit, en oven, microgolf. Er mag niet gerpoont worden op terras, maar niet elke gast begrijpt dat, misschien een rokershoekje voorzien? Lijkt wel duur als je geen korting hebt?

The place was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It had everything we needed, and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

There was nothing we disliked about the property. The only thing to keep in mind is the location. Having a car would make things much easier, as the walk from the bus stop to the property is uphill and can be a little tiring, especially if you are traveling with children.

La camera aveva la vasca idromassaggio inagibile ed il bagno aveva un climatizzatore a colonna con tubo visibile attaccato al mobile del bagno con dello scotch. Non avevamo intuito dalla descrizione che la cucina fosse in comune: appena arrivati ci è stato detto che i fornelli non fossero funzionanti e che ci fosse solo un fornello elettrico singolo. Essendoci già organizzati con la spesa per la cena abbiamo insistito con lo staff che a quel punto casualmente ha detto di aver sistemato la problematica menzionata in origine in soli 5 minuti. Era evidente che la problematica fosse inesistente, avevano semplicemente chiuso il gas per evitare l’utilizzo della cucina.

1. Nacht in einem Keller untergebrachht, 5 Zimmer, 10 Leute teilen sich ein Bad, eine Toilette. Dusche defekt. Dann umgezogen unter Nachdruck gefordert, Zimmer 1.OG klein, dunkel, nicht so toll.

Di fatto è una casa adattata a "dormitorio" di backpackers, altro che suites. Noi avevamo la stanza più grande con bagno in camera (non condiviso a differenza delle altre) e usciva aria fredda da dei bocchettoni posizionati sotto i letti senza la possibilità di spegnerli (a Vancouver in estate e in zone così alte non fa caldo al punto da avere aria fredda in camera)! Doveva esserci la colazione ma era finito tutto il pane alle 8.30 del mattino e nel frigo c'erano solo cose aperte e usate (praticamente avanzi di cose toccate da altre persone)! Ci si aspetta, per un prezzo tale, che ci siano almeno le monoporzioni con l indicazione delle camere a cui sono assegnate altrimenti è meglio non garantire alcuna colazione. Di fatto siamo andati al bar. Quasi 200 euro per una notte...almeno la vista dalla camera era bella!

Como a casa de banho era partilhada tive azar e um casal ocupou a casa de banho imenso tempo, tanto há noite como de manhã, sem consideração pelos outros hóspedes. De manhã precisava de ir à casa de banho e estiveram lá mais de 30 minutos. Esta situação estragou bastante a experiência.

View of the city was amazing. The house and room were very clean and comfortable. Having breakfast and coffee provided was nice too. We paid a special rate which I believe was good value.

Room was advertised with air conditioning but it wasn't on/ wasn't working. We were in room #2 and it just was quite hot during the night.

Er is niet zo zeer iets tegengevallen maar je mocht het wc papier niet doorspoelen. Je moest het in een prullenbak deponeren. Dat was even wennen. Temeer omdat je de wc met alle andere gasten deelt!

The only thing would be the self check in email didn’t send so we had to call the property manager. He was excellent and helped us immediately.

Location was great, amazing view in the night, the property is well organized, cozy,clean, and spacious.bathroom is very bright, clean! Backyard is beautiful! You can cereals, tea, juice,milk, bananas, apples, all for breakfast!

(Took incredible panoramic evening photos of the city) *Very clean, beautiful home. *Very lovely and welcoming owners *Food and water provided in shared kitchen Cons : Our Room was a bit small and hot but the fan provided helped. View from our room was the driveway, street and houses across the street. It was not in walking distance to shops and restaraunts. Overall very happy with our stay here . We would stay again as the price was right for such a beautiful home.

Très belle maison partagée dans le très beau et chic quartier de North Vancouver. La chambre était spacieuse, la salle de bain et les toilettes partagés étaient propre et les espace communs étaient beaux, confortable et spacieux. Le patio avec la vue sur la baie de Vancouver était très agréable. La localisation est bien, dans un beau quartier, mais une voiture est un plus pour se déplacer. Il y a de quoi prendre un petit déjeuner à disposition dans la cuisine (bagel, croissant, café, thé, lait, peanut butter, fruit, céréale, yaourt, confiture). J'ai vraiment apprécié ma nuit passé ici.

L'insonorisation (dans la maison) n'est pas le top, mais comme partout dans les espaces partagés au Canada. Cependant je n'est pas été dérangé lors de mon séjour, la nuit fut tranquille. Le quartier est très calme (pas de bruit de route ou autre).

I did not like that it was a private home, the doors to our room were not offering a feeling of security. It would have been very easy for someone to come into our room. I dont believe the site property advertised that this was a private home.

An individual there (unmarked door, so I'm unsure if he were staff or a guest) was incredibly rude. Despite me greeting them with 'good morning' and 'good night' every time, he completely ignored me not becouse i need but for education. I always greet people out of politeness, so this was very frustrating. I just hope he were a guest, as I don't want to deal with him if I ever come back." I really hope he was a long term guest because he would ruin the wonderful staff of this place🥰 .

Stayed overnight in the Master Suite. Views from the hillside location are beautiful of the river and downtown. House and room was clean.

This property is NOT a hotel as it’s listed. It’s a private home, where bedrooms are rented out. And the rest of the house is shared with others. It’s not easy to find. Advertised a Jacuzzi tub, but was broken. No TV in the rooms or entire house. Since this home is in a heavy residential area with close neighbors, we couldn’t sit outside to enjoy the views as there was a very loud pool party going on in the house next door into the night. Also, there isn’t really any continental breakfast offered. There is a refrigerator with dated food and drinks, plain bagels that had been there a while.

Lovely short stay in a quiet and clean home. It was the perfect place to stay for a night in Vancouver before setting off on our trip. I’m mostly reviewing to say how great the staff are here. Check in was super easy and the woman we met (didn’t catch her name unfortunately) was even kind enough to offer us a short lift into town. Thanks again for a wonderful start to our trip

A little bit out of the way.

Das Haus liegt in einer schönen Wohngegend in den Bergen von Achtung ! Nord Vancouver !!! Es ist eine umfunktionierten private Villa. Etwas abgewohnt und noch für die touristische Vermietung nutzbar.

Leider sind wir auf die "Entfernung zum Zentrum " reingefallen. Die Angabe bezieht sich auf Zentrum Vancouver Nord. Vancouver Downtown ist ca. 40 Minuten mit dem Bus entfernt. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist bergab ca. 800 m . Wer schlecht zu Fuß ist, absolutes k.o.Kriterium, es sei denn , man hat ein eigenes Auto zur Verfügung. Da waren wir negativ überrascht. O

The facilities were exactly as described. They were spotlessly clean. The advertised breakfast was better by far then we anticipated. The owner was very helpful over the phone.

The was a great value stay in a very convenient location. I was catching the ferry to Vancouver Island in the morning and it was an easy drive from there. The view from the kitchen and communal area was amazing. The bagels and fruit were much appreciated.

Many people in residential building, noisy, muddy smell

Beautiful home, great neighborhood, and stunning balcony views. The host is responsive and communicative.

We weren’t told ahead of time that we’d been assigned a downstairs bedroom (Angel room) — worth asking before you book. Noise from the floor above was a real issue: woken frequently until 1 AM and again from 6 AM, leaving us with about five hours of sleep. The property has a 10 PM–8 AM quiet hours policy, but it wasn’t followed that night and is not enforced.

Very beautiful place and a professional business

The location was excellent. Tje place was clean.

You have to make your own breakfast even though it's free. It takes up time in the morning compared to free breakfast at hotels where you just grab and go. I also didn't like the idea of shared bathroom. This is personal preference.

Der Whirlpool ist abgeklebt, also nur eine große Wanne. Frühstück muss man selbst zubereiten und nicht alles, was großmundig angekündigt wird, ist tatsächlich vorhanden. Man muss Hausschuhe tragen und immer brim Betreten die Hände desinfizieren.

I was looking for a quiet place to get some writing done, and there were comfy couches in the common area with excellent views. Also, close to hiking trails, so I could putter around on the mountain when I needed a break. The neighbourhood is very quiet and remote, which is what I was looking for, but within easy drive of many excellent Persian restaurants, if you like middle-eastern food. There's a full kitchen where you can pretty much cook up anything you'd like to eat. I think there were about six different people staying there, but the place is big enough that you hardly run into each other.

I had seen really good reviews of the breakfasts, but did not find them to be anything remarkable. They were fine, and if the reviews hadn't gotten my expectations up, I wouldn't have been particularly bothered. The owners make you take your shoes off, which is totally normal for Vancouver area, but it would be nice to put a chair or stool or something in the foyer so people can sit down to put their shoes back on.

Host reactive & kind: I asked and was able to let my luggage for the day there, breakfast has all the necessary ingredients, all facilities were very clean, very nice view on Vancouver (at day & night), beautiful neighbourhood, close to the Grouse mountain (not even 50min walk to the cablecar station), checking in was pretty easy. Overall excellent experience. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for sth calm, close to Grouse mountain and comfortable.
