This place was amazing! After traveling all over Europe for 17 days this was my favorite place. It had a real shower (not a combo bathroom shower). AC worked great. Bathroom had counter space 🙌. There was a closet to hang and store clothes. There was a bedside lamp, bathroom fan, usb plugs near the bed, coffee/tea, water, hot pot.It was quiet and close to everything you need...beaches, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores. The host was wonderful and accommodating with great communication. Airport pickup and drop offs made things so easy and saved money and stress. The property was safe, secure and had a very lovely courtyard. Highly recommend staying here.

Water fluctuates in temperature but it was a very minor inconvenience.

Location - close to beach, airport and also supermarkets for last minute “gifts for family, friends and office”. Felt like you’re staying with a friend with airport pickup and drop off. Great recommendation for restaurant at BBQ Fiumicino. Accommodation was super clean, aircon cold relief in the Roman heatwave, shower pressure good and warm water always available, owners so so flexible and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend a better place for an overnighter near the airport.

Extremely clean, comfortable and convenient room close to airport. Shuttle service was via car, drivers were wonderful, so punctual with clear communication. Accommodation close to many beachside restaurants options and supermarket. Perfect overnight stay near airport.

This place was beautiful and so well maintained, from the landscaping to the perfectly clean modern rooms. There were even tables outside where we were able to enjoy an evening glass of wine and snacks. Easy walk to the beach and the shuttle to the airport was great to have. Very friendly and accommodating hosts as soon as we walked on to the property. Highly recommend!!

Great location if you're wanting somewhere close to the airport for a quick stop over. Not a lot of restaurants, but enough for one night in walking distance - 15 mins. If you're staying in summer, air conditioning wasn't great. But it was really hot (heatwave) when we stayed. Owner and transport to and from airport were great, she made sure we got there on time and even walked us to the check in.

I have stayed at Un Pass dal Mare many times and the service you receive is exceptional. The owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. My last trip was complicated because of my 6am flight out of Ciampino and the cab did not arrive to take me there so the owner drove me at 4 am to Fiumicino to get a cab. I can never thank them enough for the many time times I stayed at un Passe dal Mare. They are FANTASTIC!

La posizione è perfetta sotto ogni aspetto. Struttura ben tenuta e vicino al mare. Supermercato vicinissimo e in dieci minuti a piedi si può arrivare sul lungomare con bar e ristoranti. Ma la cosa che più ho apprezzato è la gentilezza dei titolari e la presenza di una navetta gratuita da e per l'aeroporto. Per chi è di passaggio con un volo è comodissimo. Ma volendo si può sfruttare per alcuni giorni per un soggiorno al mare con tutto a portata di mano.

Oh we loved this hotel! It’s like a nice little home by the beach! The fact that there is pick up from the airport is veryyyyy convenient! The lady is amazing, very lovable and very helpful! We also went to the beach that is near by. Overall it was a very relaxing stay, we will visit again :)

Paola the host is the very best. This is the second time that we we stayed here and highly recommend it. Quiet, strong ac, clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Paola picked us up at the airport at 8pm then brought us to an excellent pizza restaurant dropped us off for dinner. Returned us to her place then took us back to the airport at 7am the next morning. I cannot praise her hospitality enough. She is the best!

Paola and Elvira were absolutely wonderful hosts. They kindly picked us up from the airport and dropped us off again for our flight the following day. Communication was excellent throughout, making the pickup seamless, and they truly went above and beyond during our drop-off by personally showing us where to find our airline. Un Passo dal Mare is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach, a supermarket, and several great restaurants. The room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, making for a very relaxing stay. We felt completely at home during our visit and will definitely choose this accommodation again whenever we have an overnight layover in Rome. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional hospitality, comfort, and convenience.

The lovely little 'cabin' is actually much nicer than it looks in the photos. It is modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We contacted Paula when we arrived at the airport and she picked us up at the airport and dropped us off again the next morning. She was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this guest house for accommodation close to Rome airport

We arrived by train so the ladies picked us up promptly off the express train to the airport on a particularly hot day and dropped us off at 5:30 am the next day. Very responsive to messages. Very well run spotlessly clean, very comfortable accommodation and the large bottle of water and a fridge were very welcome on such a hot day. Supermarket approx 4 minute walk put and beachfront about 15 mins walk. Lots of lovely restaurants along the lungomare. A wonderful place to stay and we will be using them again when we have an early flight back to US esp in the summer. Many thanks ladies for a super well- run set up!!!💚

The hosts were exceptionally accommodating and kind. The price cannot be beat -- particularly since it included the free shuttle. The location is walking distance from the beach and TONS of great restaurants. I had some of my best meals of the trip.

The only thing I did not like had nothing to do with the hosts or the apartment itself. Everything about the stay was lovely and as described. The town of Fiumincino is just a bit less "wow" than the other locations I visited in Italy. HOWEVER -- for the night before the airport, it was perfect.

Un Passo dal Mar and its owner Paola are a bit of heaven. Whether you are using it as a base for flying out of Fiumicino as I did or even as a soft landing when arriving to Roma it could not be more perfect. For one thing Paola takes all the stress out of arriving or leaving Fiumicino airport with her very personal shuttle service to and from the airport - ts like being taken care of by a caring family member who knows the airport like the back of her hand! That this service is included in the fee and that the airport is so close to her little kingdom is marvelous. Her home that hosts three en suite units is set in a relaxing garden of giant flowers a short walk from A Full service super market . B a few restaurants C The Lungomar , the seaside walk with a beach! I can easily see arriving from NY to Rome , and staying here to lose the flight weariness as easily as what i did which was arrive the day before flying to get a good nights rest and relaxation before flying. The room is lovely with a very comfortable bed AC a refigerator and ensuite bathroom. Private, Calm , quiet with a restful seating area in the outside garden with a fig tree! This is a find!

We hadden deze kamer geboekt om dicht bij het vliegveld te zijn. We hadden gewoon een goed bed en een douche nodig, maar we kregen zó veel meer! We werden door de zeer vriendelijke eigenares opgehaald op het vliegveld op een tijd en plaats die voor ons het beste was. De kamer was geweldig! Schoon, mooi ingericht en zeer comfortabel. Als bonus hadden we een prachtige tuin met mooi terras en het is letterlijk 5 minuten lopen van het strand (vandaar de naam). Fiumicino blijkt een heel leuk strandplaatsje te zijn met leuke eettentjes. De twee zussen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en klantgericht en doen er alles aan om je verblijf zorgeloos te maken. Ze weten precies wat je als reiziger nodig hebt en denken zelfs met je mee over de beste vertrektijden. Kortom: absoluut geweldig!

We stayed here twice, a night each, in the past month to bookend our trip our trip to Italy. The hosts, sisters Paola and Elvira, are the kindest hosts we’ve ever encountered. Excellent communication throughout, starting with Paola picking us up after a very long flight and driving us to their place. Good suggestions for dining nearby and immediate responses when we had questions. Rooms are simple and comfortable with updated bathroom, and bed/linens also comfortable. Our last day was unseasonably hot and the room’s AC handled it well. Also enjoyed the lovely flowers/landscaping around the property. The last day for our flight home, Elvira drove us the relatively short trip to FCO, and actually walked us into the terminal and pointed out the departures desk for our particular airline. It feels Iike staying with friends - cannot overstate how hospitable the sisters are. Highly recommend.

I have stayed here twice when I had to take an early morning flight from the Rome airport. Elvira or her sister, Paoula, pick me up at the Fiumicino train station. You get there easily on the Leonardo Express from Rome Termini station. Trains depart every thirty minutes. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable with a beautiful garden outside. It is a short walk to a beautiful beach with many restaurants and bars directly on the beach. There is also a close supermarket. In the morning, one of the sisters takes me back to the airport. The price is very reasonable. It is much better than staying overnight in an airport hotel. You get an appreciation for a beautiful part of Rome where tourists do not usually go.

This was a great way to end our journey the day before our trek back home. A quaint, clean, comfy, quiet accommodation! Pick up from the train station and transport back to the airport was wonderful and made the experience so nice after a hectic three weeks traveling. The hostesses are so nice. We would absolutely stay again if life brings us back to Rome ♥️
