The boat is beautiful. We've visited Amsterdam many times but this was our first houseboat stay and what an experience! Perfectly located, plenty of space, comfortable bed and the breakfast box each day was such a nice touch. Special shout to the swans who were spectacular and made our mornings!

The only very small thing was that the bathroom seemed to get wet any time there was rainfall due to the skylight being opened slightly, but likely the pole to close was around and I missed it, and nothing a little white roll couldn't dry up!

Ubicación excelente A solo 3 min tienes el t ranvia que te lleva al centro en 15 min. Zona supertranquila. Supermercados cerca. La casa tiene todo lo que necessitas para unos días. Solo no puedes cocinar pero tiene microondas. El anfitrion, Rene, es muy agradable y diaponible.. Te explica todo lo que neceites. Alquilamos las bicicletas con él, aconsejo. Si volviese a Amsterdam repetía la estancia

For us everything was fine.

Ce logement est un petit paradis. On s'y sent bien, et c'est surprenant d'etre aussi près du centre tout en ayant l'impression d'en etre loin. La nature est tout autour, c'est tres calme, et la maison est tres belle et simple.

tout etait absolument parfait. si je devais juste dire une chose: j'aurais apprécié une petite plaque de cuisson pour me faire des pates ou des oeufs au plat. Mais c'est vraiment accessoire.

Das Frühstück stand jeden Tag in einer hübschen Box vor der Tür. Schön gemacht.

Ich habe in der Küchenzeile eine kleine Herdplatte vermisst.

We loved every bit of our stay!

Very comfortable large 350 sq feet (35 m2). Excellent bed and linens and towels. Clean facilities. Good coffee maker, fridge, microwave.Breakfast was a superb surprise: juice, eggs, baked goods, cheeses, yogurt, cold cuts, 2 buns, fruit delivered to your door at 0730h daily. Enough for a big breakfast and to make 2 large sandwiches to go! We only purchased dinners in Amsterdam centre at night. Boat Hotel was very stable: no motion at all. Bright unit with lots of windows. Very quiet. Fast Internet. Great Netflix and YouTube. Awesome 4 nights for us. Host was very helpful helping us try find tickets to main events. Tram stops 100 meters away that go in all directions. Get all day tram pass. 15 minutes to centre. 40 min to airport. Best to Uber to front door if you have luggage: €30 for 2.

Nothing. People with mobility issues: be careful with tall stairs and ramps.

Świetna lokalizacja (kilka minut do przystanków komunikacji miejskiej, a stamtąd około 15 min do centrum). Urokliwy domek na wodzie, czas spędzony na ławce przy nim, zaraz przy wodzie to super sprawa. Bardzo miły, pomocny i responsywny gospodarz.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, bequemes Bett, gute Dusche, liebevolles Frühstück, netter Gastgeber.

Das Waschbecken im Bad ist sehr klein und es ist nachts SEHR hell auf dem Boot. Verdunklungsvorhänge wären sehr schön.

Ottima posizione, bellissima location con spazio fuori, personale gentilissimo e disponibile anche a procurarci delle biciclette, colazione buona e abbondante, spazi adeguati

Vetri non oscurabili per la notte, entra molta luce al mattino, non ci sono i fornelli

Der Vermieter vom Boathotel hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und stand mit Rat und Tipps zur Verfügung. Das Boat liegt sehr zentral. Besonders hat uns das Frühstück gefallen, das abwechslungsreich und liebevoll in einer Kiste jeden Morgen vor der Tür stand.

Da amabilidade do René e da atenção que teve ao responder a todas as questões e das dicas que deu. Muito agradável o pequeno almoço que todas as manhãs nos deixava, variado e agradável. Cama muito confortável. Agradável vista de canal com patos e cisne a circular.

Great location, just 10 mins on the No 22 bus to Centraal. Very quiet indeed. Lovely warm cozy boat-based apartment with underfloor heating. Views over the canal with visiting parakeets. Great breakfast delivered to the door each morning. Ideally positioned for the delights of Javastraat and the nearby local, Bar Joost on Molukkenstraat. An extremely comfortable bed and lovely and clean all round.

There was nothing not to like about this accommodation. Superb!

Súper tranquilo. El bus a 2 minutos caminando. La cama súper cómoda! El desayuno todas las mañanas muy rico y la atención de René excelente!

Tout était parfait

Emplacement idéal, proche des restaurants et des commerces sans être au milieu de l'afflux de touristes. Expérience originale et authentique avec un hôte aux petits soins.

Le seul point à noter est l'absence de rideaux occultants qui peut être un souci si vous êtes habitués à l'obscurité, notamment à cause des lampadaires allumés toute la nuit.

Excellent location, just far enough from the center to relax but not too far to make travel difficult; close to various shops and bus stations. Quiet at night and lots of privacy. René was a fantastic and kind host, and delivered fresh breakfast every morning! Highly recommend.

Le studio a du charme car il est entouré d’eau avec des canards joyeux qui viennent saluer le matin. Le petit déjeuner est laissé devant la porte par notre gentil hôte,dans une malette,chaque matin,avec des bonnes viennoiseries ,œufs,jus,fruits,yaourts,fromage,charcuterie,lait.. Le lit est grand et on dort très bien. La petite terrasse avec une banquette large et coussins ,ça contribue au charme. Bus et tramway vers le centre,gare et centre,à 10 min de marche Merci à nôtre hôte René pour tous les bons conseils et pour avoir gardé nos bagages,vu qu’on avait notre train à 18 h.

La situation, l’accessibilité à vélo, l’originalité du lieu, l’accueil de Rene, sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse, le petit déjeuner, la propreté du logement.

We stayed for a few days in Amsterdam and we can’t thank our host enough for the wonderful hospitality. The house was very welcoming, clean, and beautifully maintained, located in a quiet and well-connected area. The breakfast brought to us was delicious and prepared with care — a truly appreciated gesture. We felt at home from the very beginning and had a very pleasant stay. If we return to Amsterdam, we will definitely choose this place again. Thank you so much!

Es gab eine tolle Frühstückskiste jeden Früh vor der Tür .Es war sehr zentral mit sicherer Stellmöglichkeit für die Fahhräder. Alles war wunderbar absolute Empfehlung.Vielen Dank für den schönen und besonderen Aufenthalt.

Spacious, great size for the price, private deck area, food was excellent, host was friendly and helpful. Very close to public transit, and easy/quick to get into downtown/core area of city

La vie et la vue sur l'eau rendent le logement vraiment très agréable. La petite "cours intérieure" était un vrai plus.

La seule chose mais c'est vraiment du détail est le pommeau de douche fixé au plafond qui rend difficile le fait de ne pas se mouiller la tête.

So much to like here. Lovely to be on the waterfront, really peaceful sitting on the decking watching the birds in the morning and boats in the afternoon. The host was really kind and the breakfast was amazing, great selection of food delivered every morning. Plenty of teas and coffees provided also. Regular buses and trams run from just around the corner and it doesn't take long to get into Amsterdam central to explore. The local neighbourhood with a market and lots of independent shops was vibrant in itself. Would recommend!

A minor thing, but it would have been useful to have a hob to cook on in the kitchen area, although we were fine with the microwave for our short stay.

Everything was perfect from disembarking from the taxi upon arrival at the Bed Breakfast Boat, to boarding the taxi for the ride to the airport! I had planned to spend a few days with my children who are currently in the Netherlands and celebrate King's Day which fell on the dates of our trip. We arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time at Bed Breakfast Boat, the gate was closed, but at the entrance there was a note waiting for me: “Dear Katerina, if you cannot contact me, just ring the doorbell” and this was very nice because at that time I was having problems with mobile communication and the Internet. We were met by Rene, who was just finishing preparing the house for our vacation. We looked around the house, dropped our things off and went for a walk in Amsterdam, where, of course, we stayed until the evening, and when we returned, climate control was waiting for us in the house (which was very convenient because it got cold in the evening) and a multi-storey composition of containers with food in the refrigerator, including drinks, milk, etc. Since we needed an extra bed, we asked Rene and he transformed the corner sofa in the living room into a luxurious bed with fresh linen. In the morning, a chest with breakfast was waiting for us by the door... The days flew by in the bustle of the holidays and our beautiful house, but the trip was ending and it was time to pack. Considering the fact that I am from Ukraine and our mobile operator does not always have the ability to provide high-quality Internet, we asked Rene to print out my boarding pass and the ticket was waiting for me at the door. René gave us small souvenirs when we left, which will always remind us of this amazing place, and René himself will forever be in our hearts! We want to return to this place, immerse ourselves in this atmosphere and meet such wonderful people as René along the way!

Lovely accommodation with a super host. A houseboat was a welcome change to a hotel and staying on the water had a calming feel to it. Rene was very helpful and the breakfasts he dropped off each morning was great. Would highly recommend staying here. The house boat is in a good location within easy walk of multiple tram stops and bicycle lanes.

Location from Amsterdam Central. 10 euro uber, don’t take the taxis. On the water, obviously!! Perfect for couples. Rene the host and provider of an amazing breakfast basket by your door every morning. Highly recommend

This is a unique experience, with a quiet location and nice scenery from the boat. Bike rental from the property is cheap and very convenient. Rene is an obliging host.

A peaceful house boat 10 minutes by tram from the center. Romantic atmosphere, like you are leaving in another era... Breakfast at your door… Apartment with everything you need.

The location of the flat is very good, close to the city centre (25 minutes by public transport)

There is no kitchen as indicated in the flat description (no hotplates and no microwave) No shutters on the windows, the sun rises very early... Boat is not well soundproofed Cleaning is not very well done

Super warm and cosy, loved the under floor heating after a busy day in the rain and cold weather! The boat was Clean and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Breakfast was lovely and an excellent start to the day. René was a great host. Super helpful. Would love to stay again!

Everything! - lovely neighborhood walking distance from the hustle and bustle - comfy apartment with friendly neighbors - swan and duck families mostly - Rene is a great host, helpful and caring - Breakfast is a blast!

Rene was a super host, answered my many questions and helped us navigate the public transport with ease. The breakfast basket every morning was lovley and delicious with fresh goods. There is a lot of DVDs to choose from which was nice for the evenings. The option to rent bikes was a nice touch too. Location was good, a short walk to the shops and a bus stop close by to get to the centre of Amsterdam. The house boat didn't feel like a boat at all, no rocking so no chance of sea sickness! Overall a great stay, would definitely come again!

Personally I sleep with 2 pillows, so the option of another in the wardrobe if someone wished for more than one would be a nice addition. There was a small bit of mould in the bathroom. The air-conditioning unit didn't work. We pulled the sofa bed out one evening for a movie night and it had a handful of hair on it. A blanket would also have been a nice addition too for getting comfy in the sofa / sofa bed.

Comfortable house boat located on the East side of the city only a couple of minutes walk to the tram and bus. The breakfast is generous and delivered fresh to the door each day. It was a lovely change from the usual Air B&B / hotel room. Rene was a very friendly and helpful host.

The accommodation was perfect. Breakfast basket was wonderful and so much variety. We were able to use the leftovers for lunch/tea. Sitting out feeding the ducks was good too.
