Lovely, clean , good breakfast.

The “early breakfast” pack when we left the hotel was dreadful and meagre considering how much you pay for breakfast per person.

Hotel was stunning. Room was high end and very clean. Bathrooms facilities were excellent. Breakfast was great and had plenty on offer,

very nice room, very nice facilities and best of all we got to watch a solar eclipse from the upper floor of the top floor bar. a very kind employee gave us protective sunglasses to view the eclipse safely.

Everything was perfect

They give us unlimited entrance for every thing in the wellness spa and They changed us for the massage and said that the gym and the pool is only the free part although the are free every where

2 nachten geboekt en beide nachten niet goed kunnen slapen vanwege een bruiloft om 03.00 in de nacht die nota bene gasten zijn van het hotel en de ander ochtend omdat er luid publiek op het terras van het hotel zat, vroeg in de morgen. Ik vind het jammer dat ik ruim €800 heb betaald voor 2 dagen maar niet goed heb kunnen slapen. Dus hier kom ik niet meer terug.

Die Lage, die Architektur und die Qualität der Zimmer ist super. Das Fitnessstudio ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet. Das Personal überwiegend nett und zugewandt.

Der Wellnessbereich ist extrem klein und umfasst nur zwei Saunen, einen Ruheraum gibt es nicht. Die einzigen Liegen sind am Pool, der häufig von Kindern bespielt wird. Entspannen ist dabei schwierig. Schwimmen geht bedingt, da der Pool recht kurz ist aber es geht. Das Personal ist teilweise unprofessionell und nicht Service orientiert gewesen. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr fettig und wirkte nur auf dem Papier gesund. Das Frühstück ist ein solides Continental Breakfast - Sporttreibende und Menschen auf Diät haben es hier etwas schwieriger.

It’s has a luxurious feel. The decor is really captivating with an indoor garden. The wellness centre is great and it’s open until late and the massages were excellent. The room was very clean and the waterfront view with balcony was lovely and relaxing. There are plenty of places to relax in the hotel with a cafe, lounge. The breakfast was great too.

The beds were a bit too firm for me.

L’emplacement est un peu à l’écart mais si vous cherchez un endroit où vous reposer et vous détendre après un journée de visite, c’est l’endroit idéal

Des détails pas forcément importants, juste pensez à acheter des cigarettes car le premier tabac (station service) est à 15 min de marche rien de fou mais bon

We stayed at Jakarta a few years ago & knew it was a nice hotel & great location. The staff were very helpful in getting us in our rooms quickly. We definitely would stay there again if we are in Amsterdam.

Service was great. We had an issue with the coffee machine and they replaced it straight away. I loved the whatsapp service.

The hotel is very nice, the indoor plants and Ambience are great. The food served at the restaurant is pretty good and the bar both on ground floor and skybar are great places to spend the evening.

Not a lot to say here really, it about a 20 minuite walk to Amsterdam Centraal so your slightly out the way, altough public transport is easily available.

L'hôtel a un vrai charme malgré sa taille. Le personnel est très accueillant et le petit déjeuner est très diversifié. Je n'ai malheureusement pas eu le temps d'utiliser la piscine qui avait l'air géniale.

Le mini bar était vide et il n'y avait pas de sèche cheveux. C'etait juste dommage.

We arrived when it was very hot and the hotel's eco-friendly air conditioning was not up to the task. In addition, the hotel's location was very far from the center (we knew this in advance and decided to book at this hotel anyway)

The location is great for a quiet stay, but the bus stop just outside makes it accessible to the main train and bus station. The staff are warm and friendly, and nothing is a bother. We had to leave early, so a breakfast package was arranged for us. The meals in the restaurant are superb, and the breakfast was great. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, especially for a romantic weekend or stay. We will be coming back.

Not really a hate point, just an observation. There was no toaster at the bread point; however, I'm sure if someone wanted toast, they could ask. Apart from that, nothing. Though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I and my girlfriends enjoyed a beautiful stay at Jakarta. We loved the Indonesian-inspired design and the surrounding tropucal garden together with the waterfront. It such a beautiful place.

Very friendly crew, very clean and comfortable. The hotel decor is unique and special.

The cooling system form the floor is not enough in the summer Breakfast was fresh and good but no vegetables. In Amsterdam you would expect more cheese variety. The hotel is a bit far from the center.

L'hôtel n'est certes pas en plein centre mais il est formidable en tout point : Au bord de l'eau, moderne et écoresponsable (végétation intérieure grandiose et apaisante), chambre et cadre intérieur superbes, calme, cuisine de qualité, propreté irréprochable... L'hôtel propose des vélos en location (17€/jour), un bus passe tous les quarts d'heure, les ferrys (gratuits pour traverser le canal principal) ne sont pas loin.

Very nice and friendly hotel. Super quiet rooms, tv at the end of your bed and always good breakfast in your roomprice included. Which you may also bring to your room if you like. Very clean room also. Just great! Spacious room and view over the water. Would certainly book again!

Kleine Zimmer und ein sehr winziger Wellnessbereich, ohne Möglichkeit überhaupt ein Fenster zu öffnen, geschweige nach draußen gehen zu können.

Le petit déjeuné est super, la chambre est très jolie et la salle de sport est vraiment cool. Le personnel est très sympathique et souriant.

La piscine est un peu froide et les photos donnent l’impression d’être vraiment presque les pieds dans le canal mais c’est pas le cas. On est proche de l’eau mais moins qu’il n’y paraît sur les photos.

Amazing location with breathtaking views of the waterfront !! Super clean and big rooms !! Malabar - the rooftop bar is a must visit with amazing 180 deg views of the sunset and the whole of Brussels !! Super amicable and accommodating staff !!

Open shower area in the rooms - not for people who like their privacy during the shower !! Accessing rooms on the top floor are quite challenging for people who can be afraid of heights as the pathway across s quite narrow and gives you an amazing view of the forest landscape down below !!

Cool earthy vibe and a calming atmosphere. AMAZING LOCATION !!!! Quite far from the Amsterdam South station but super close to Amsterdam Central station for people to know !! Breathtaking views of the waterfront and gobsmacking ambience at the rooftop bar MALABAR !! Open and airy Resto/Breakfast area !! Lobby was compact and perfect !! Access to the rooms on the top floor are quite unique with a view of the forest landscape down below !! Rooms are big and comfortable and the balcony gives you a spectacular view of the waterfront and Amsterdam especially from the top floors !! Clean and big bathrooms with an open shower cabinet - not for people who need their privacy during the shower !! Amicable and well mannered staff ever so helpful !! GOOD Value for money !! Noise levels inside the room are quite satisfactory ! Great amenities overall and OVERALL .. A BRILLIANT STAY !!

Hotel unique in design. Room had fantastic views floor to ceiling overlooking the river. Hotel left a bottle of prosecco in the fridge for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Thank you. Restaurant offered a great variety of food for breakfast. Cocktail bar beautifully designed again with great views and really tasty food unusually presented. Bikes to hire onsite which we used. Great bakery onsite too.

I had high expectations coming in, but Jakarta Hotel Amsterdam went above and beyond in every way possible. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the accommodations were top-tier, and every little detail was handled with care. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

This hotel, located at a historic site where ships used to set off to ‘the East’, is a truly marvelous experience. With its timeless interior design- stylish, refined in its chic yet never posh- it hosts beautifully decorated rooms, superb views on one of Europes finest cities, a very good fusion-cooking restaurant and a whole ecosysteem of plants inside. The staff is uniformly Friendly and hospitable. And last but not least: The swimming and spa facilities can be used the full afternoon after having checked out, which feels really welcoming and adds to the open vibe this place has. Highly recommended hotel.

What a great stay I've had in Hotel Jakarta. It really is beautifull, the plants and the trees inside the hotel, the room was fantastic, clean and with a beautifull view. Compliments to the staff who will do their upmost to make you stay perfect. In particularly Dino from the bar en Dewi from the front office, you both made me smile.

Fantastic hotel in a very good location. Rooms really clean and modern with all you could need and wonderful facilities through the hotel. Excellent pool and gym and lovely restaurant and sky bar. Breakfast great too. Staff spoke perfect English and were incredibly helpful. Would recommend and return if back in the city.

Das Hotel ist architektonisch toll, der Blick aus dem Fenster aufs Wasser großartig. Zimmer ebenso schön wie zweckmäßig, gutes Bett (inkl der Option Doppel- oder 2 Einzelschläfer), gute Ausstattung des Raums und sehr sauber. Das Konzept eines offenen Badezimmers wurde hier endlich mal gut umgesetzt! Ich bin eigentlich kein Fan davon, aber hier hatte a) die Toilette eine gute Tür und b) ließ sich das Bad via Schiebetür vom restlichen Raum abtrennen, wenn man es gern wollte. Die Idee der Wasserflasche zum Selbst-Befüllen fanden wir super! Tolles Frühstücksbuffet auch mit veganen Optionen, nette Bäckerei/Cafe im Haus für zwischendurch und gutes Restaurant am Abend.

Wir fanden die Lage sehr gut. Man muss aber wissen, dass man zu Fuß ca 30 Min von der City entfernt ist - Busfahren funktioniert aber ganz hervorragend! Das Schwimmbad ist evtl etwas unterdimensioniert.

Hotel je dobro smješten i dobro je povezan sa gradskim prijevozom. Doručak je bio odličan, raznolik i ukusan. Soba i kupaonica su čiste i prostrane. Balkon je veliki sa lijepim pogledom. Interijer hotela je odličan, pun zelenila.

Žao mi je što je na balkonu zabranjeno pušenje.

O Hotel é charmoso e bem localizado. Não é na "cidade velha". Muito fácil de se locomover com Uber. Bicicletas disponíveis no hotel.

Breakfast was very good. The room and hotel were very clean. The decoration was nice.

The sliding room divider between the bed area and the rest of the room is terrible. The shower and toilet area along with closets and room entrance are all on one side of the divider, which means if someone is taking shower or using toilet, no one can get in/out of the room, or access the closets from the bed side of the divider!

Other than the location, we loved everything. It’s a fantastic hotel in every way.

To get to the city center, you need to take a bus or tram. The bus runs about every 20–25 minutes, and although the ride is short, the service ends around 12:30 a.m., making it difficult to get back to the hotel late at night. Also, there isn't a supermarket or shopping area nearby.

This is more like a love letter than a review, my wife and I spent 3 nights in this wonderful hotel to celebrate her birthday. The food, room and amenities were second to none, but the staff made it feel like a 5 star hotel, everyone we had the pleasure to meet were so nice and helpful, on my wife’s birthday, we cams back to a card and cookies from the staff, shout out to tess and the team for that, and a special mention to Alex, who got us the best Prosecco I have ever tasted, honestly, this lady was the absolute best advisement for this hotel 🫶🏻 see you soon Ian & Karen xx

What a fabulous hotel ...the decor ...the plants...the rooms...the pool ...the breakfast. Prob the best city break hotel i have stayed in. Bus 43 takes you from Central station straight to the hotel or we used Uber. Just outside the main streets of Dam but close enough to walk in.

Posizione un po' decentrata

Liked the use of the wellness centre, the helpful staff, excellent food and drinks and lovely atmosphere around the hotel. Bike rental was reasonable and fun. Rooms were clean and we thought the beds were very comfortable. It was conveniently located as we did not want to be in the centre of Amsterdam. The tram was easy to use and just over the bridge.

The view from the entrance side was not the most aesthetic but that did not detract from the whole experience.
