Reviewed Mar 23, 2026The property was absolutely beautiful with a charming vintage feel that made our stay extra special. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. We truly enjoyed our time there, especially relaxing around the villa and even the little touches like the feijoa tree. It felt very welcoming and peaceful.
Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like everything exceeded our expectations.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2025Usually don't select space within a home but this was totally separate & private. Big bedroom with high ceilings & added bonus of huge lounge area. Beautiful gardens to relax in, weather wasn't at its best however! Great little touches like home made cookies by coffee machine & a bedtime chocolate plus electric blankets on bed in summer, which was needed at night .... everything you need. Ran outta time to use spa pool, a definite must stay again spot.

1. The bath room floor is slippery when wet. 2. Lounge heater was not working. 3. The lounge wasn't comfortable couch was seated for entertainment only. plus the TV was in the wrong place with the couches you were looking sideways at the TV... 4. It would have been better if you had a kitchenette. You couldn't cook anything. Not even to have breakfast. You had to buy it there.. 5. No Netflix just TV. 6 No heating in the bedroom. 7. Having pictures on the wall of their family to me isn't appropriate. 8 it was more of entertaining people for drinks only than a b&b..

Reviewed Mar 2, 2024Fabulous house and garden. The lounge, bedroom and en-suite were the best we've ever stayed in. Extremely comfortable and the breakfast was superb. It was a 13 minute walk to a good Italian restaurant. We were visiting Napier and this was a good location as only 15 minutes drive.

The instant coffee was so old in jar it was solid. We don’t drink filter coffee which there was plenty. The breakfast was very disappointing as nothing like photo in advertising. It was supposed to be delivered on a tray in hall from 7am. At 8 am we had to ask for it
