Everything was so lovely there at Brenton Lodge, lovely peaceful spot for a best friends weekend or any other occasion. The lovely touches like the homebaked chocolate chip cookies. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was a Fabulous B and B. Breakfast was provided for us to have at our convenience. Superb location, quick to town centre and the Beach.

Wunderbare Lage, erhöht Blick über die gesamte Landschaft, ruhige Lage. Mit sehr viel Liebe ist die Lodge eingerichtet. Eingebettet in der Natur. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Fantastisches Frühstück mit Blick übers Meer

Wow, was gibt es hier zu sagen, das war einfach ein Träumchen. Der Ausblick wunderschön- wir hatten aber auch Traumwetter. Tolles Studio mit wunderschönem Bad. So viel liebe zum Detail, wundervoll eingerichtet und das Frühstück - nicht übermäßig- aber eunderschön in Gläschen gefüllt: Joghurt, Früchte, Müsli, 2 Cookies, 6 Scheiben Toast, Butter, 2x Marmelade und Peanutbutter. Das Bad ist auch schön, Duschutensilien vorhanden, super Druck von der Dusche. Wir konnten den schönen Pool nutzen, im Hof parken- 2 Bademäntel waren auch da. Draußen Frühstücken- perfekt

Nichts zu meckern. Wir konnten abends nicht draußen essen, da sonst die Stechmücken mit uns Mensch ärgere dich micht gespielt hätte, aber das wertet diese Unterkunft nicht ab. Bilder sprechen mehr als Worte.

We absolutely loved our stay at Brenton Lodge. The property is stunning, set back in the hills with beautiful rooms, immaculate gardens and a gorgeous view. It feels very peaceful and secluded, yet it’s only a 5-minute drive into Whangamata. Over the busy New Year period, we preferred the quiet setting away from the town. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, and the continental breakfast provided in the room was a lovely touch and perfect to enjoy at a relaxed pace. Neville and Kerrie were genuinely lovely hosts, making us feel very welcome. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would highly recommend Brenton Lodge to anyone looking for a tranquil and high-quality stay near Whangamata.

Beautiful property with an amazing view. Our hosts were wonderful and very. The cabin we stayed in was clean, well maintained and well stocked for breakfast.

Highly recommend. Kerrie & her husband are delightful. Warm welcome as soon as we arrived, sorry we never got to say thank you & goodbye. The room had everything you could need - the continental breakfast had a great selection, very generous helpings &&& the home made shortbread Kerrie left us on our last night was mouth watering 🤤😋 loved the pool & the garden setting & the magnificent views out across Whangamata 🙌🙌 we were there for Beach Hop & it was a lovely relaxing place to return too. Would stay again in a heartbeat 💗

The property was immaculate and offered amazing views of Whanagata, especially the ocean. More importantly, our hosts were awesome and told us a lot about the area and their love of this place.

An amazing room very stylish and so many thoughtful additions. The views stunning the pool and gardens made it so peaceful and we felt like we were Kings and Queens. The hosts were just as amazing totally recommend this place. The bush walk to town was a bonus like another adventure. Thank you

The accommodations were lovely. There was a beautiful view and having the pool was great on a hot day. the continental breakfast was just what we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in this very cute & comfortable place. Everything was just as we had hoped for & the views & garden were stunning. It was so nice & quiet as well.

The property looks a long way from the town but beside the Lodge is a walkway which is lovely walk about 20 minutes down to town. The views are amazing from the Lodge.

We loved the distance from town and the view was fantastic. It was a very relaxing place to be and very private setting.

This was our 2nd time staying at the lodge. Neville and Kerrie are great hosts. The lodge is neat, tidy. The refreshments in the mini kitchen are layed out thoughtfully.

The room was comfortable, and the amenities were great. However, the water pressure in the shower was a bit low. I wanted to wash my hair but decided not to, as it would have taken a long time to rinse out the shampoo and conditioner. Aside from that, everything else was perfect, and we really enjoyed our time here. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We loved the location, which was in the hills above Whangamata, but only a 20 minute walk to the town through beautiful countryside, or 5 minutes by car. The views from our room were stunning. Our room had a balcony with table and chairs so you could sit out and watch the sun go down or watch the sea and small boats. The room was large, clean, warm and comfortable. It was equipped with everything we needed. The small town is beautiful with lots of water based activities, good restaurants and cafes. The beach and harbour are stunning and you can walk at low tide over to another small Island. A great beach holiday spot which has not been spoiled. It is clean, feels safe and the people were friendly and welcoming to visitors.

The bathroom could be a little warmer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. We would definitely return. The room was very clean and comfortable, the generous continental breakfast was great.

We really noticed how peaceful & quiet it was there. There were so many birds flitting around the garden too. The accommodation was clean & comfortable, especially the bed with it's crisp sheets! The breakfast tray was a nice addition & was well stocked. Fluffy robes were available, again a nice touch.

Although Netflix was available, there was no Sky TV. It was Masters weekend & we were really keen to keep watching the progress of the golfers. However, we ended up at Whangamata Golf Club where we were made to feel really welcome while we watched the last day's coverage.

Lovely and clean lodge. Views are amazing. Lots of extra touches, ropes, toiletries & a basket of continental breakfast 😋 to enjoy in your lodge at a time that suits you.

We walked into town using the footpath (30 minutes) & we couldn't get a taxi back as none available, so we had to walk back in the dark. It had been the Beach Hop, so I think all taxis were having a rest - so not our accommodations fault.

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay.It looked as if it had been designed and equipped by a professional interior designer and it had a stunning sea view.It was set in the owner’s private immaculate gardens and we were welcomed to walk around them.We were made to feel very welcome and were given directions and recommendations for dinner.There was a very nice continental breakfast left for us to enjoy at our leisure on the terrace.

Loved our terrace overlooking the gardens. Our room was spotless, and comfortable, with everything you might need. There was a very peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Hosts recommended a great restaurant in town, walked in via the shortcut, and the owner's daughter drove us home! Such a gorgeous place, felt rested after our visit.

This place is amazing! The views are stunning, the rooms are light, airy, and nicely decorated. Kerrie and Neville were so helpful and friendly. The gardens are beautiful, home to many native birds and their lovely songs. We really enjoyed the pretty walk from the lodge into town.

Location was not in the middle of town and had a beautiful outlook looking over whangamata and the bed was the best part so awesomely comfy

Such an amazing experience! From the moment we booked at the Brenton Lodge, we felt welcome. The owner sent us a text and updated us on what we could expect. The location is a perfect getaway, but it is still close to local shops & restaurants. We were greeted upon arrival, and the owner made sure we had everything we needed, plus he had started the heater prior to our arrival so that the room was cozy. We also received a recommendation to an awesome restaurant nearby. The accommodations were top-notch, plus they provided some amenities for a quick breakfast the next morning. I could go on and on about how wonderful the entire experience was, even though we only stayed one night. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to visit again. Thanks again to everyone at the Brenton Lodge for making our short stay a lifelong memory!

We stayed for 1 night at this lovely and peaceful place. The Cottage Tui was comfortable with a nice balcony and an outstanding view. Would definitely stay again.

loved everything!!!! the room was amazing and the owners were so lovely. this stay would have to be one of the best I have ever experienced. I will definitely sat here again. little picnic chocolate bars. the little kitchen equipped with Vogel bread, crumpets, butter, jams, muesli with yoghurt and milk, fresh orange juice… wow 🤩 simply amazing. the sheets were clean and the bed super comfy! I loved this room and my stay. thank you so much.
