Liyana Holiday resort

The location and the setup of this place is just fantastic! Add to this the location of the restaurant, looking into the tropical canopy, a North of Fantastic place! Just the whole vibe feels homely and just simply nice! Would easily highly recommend this place and will certainly stay here whenever my travels take me to Sri Lanka! And then there is this fabulous breakfast! I had fried eggs, a standard, but then, on day 2 I had fried potatoes, hard to believe maybe, how utterly sensational this can be! Roasted garlic, fruit juices, papaya or watermelon, really nice coffee, and, alternating, some sugar cane pancake to go alongside the fried eggs or omelet! Seriously great stuff!

Arrivati nella struttura siamo stati accolti velocemente e calorosamente, stanza di piccole dimensioni ma con tutto il necessario. Il ragazzo della reception ci ha proposto un tour dei templi a buon prezzo il quale è stato gradito. Buona cena, consigliato per una notte ad Anuradhapura

A bit of smell in the bathroom

Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, e questo è stato il motivo all’origine della mia prenotazione. Quindi nulla da ridire, complessivamente un’esperienza positiva! Il personale molto disponibile mi ha aiutato con tutte le mie necessità sia per l’affitto della bici che per i trasporti.

La biancheria decisamente usurata. Il bagno aveva problemi con l’acqua, in serata non usciva acqua dal rubinetto del lavandino.

De locatie was heel mooi en om de hoek van restaurants. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Onze badkamer stonk behoorlijk en kwam helaas ook de kamer zelf op. De toilet zat los en iedere keer als je wilde opstaan, wiebelde het. En de ventilator werkte niet.

Prima kamer voor een goede prijs.

Wij hadden veel mieren en je moest door de douche om bij het toilet te komen.

Die Lage des Hotels nahe des Sees ist super. Der frische Wassermelonen-Saft zum Frühstück war herausragend.

Das Fenster hatte direkt eine Wand davor, kein Ausblick! Um ein Frühstück früh zu erhalten (7:30am) musste ich kämpfen, nicht gut für frühe Ausflüge.

Je ne suis pas du genre à me plaindre, mais j’ai du mal à identifier un véritable point positif dans cette réservation au sein de cet établissement.

La chambre était annulable à tout moment, ce qui est appréciable, et nous avions pris l’option avec petit-déjeuner. Cependant, il n’a pas été possible de l’emporter lors d’un départ très matinal, ce qui a nécessité une longue discussion pour ajuster le montant a régler. La nuit a été perturbée par de la musique avec des basses provenant du voisinage. La chambre sans climatisation, celle-ci étant proposée en option à un coût représentant le prix de la nuitée. Enfin, le sol extérieur reliant la chambre à la réception peut être glissant, ce qui demande de la prudence.

Bedden lagen goed. Douche was erg goed en warm. Personeel was aardig en heeft geholpen met dingen regelen, waar we blij mee waren. Alles zag er netjes uit. Locatie is wat verder van het centrum, maar genoeg leuke restaurants in de buurt.

Je kleding laten wassen is hier erg duur. Geen aanrader ondanks dat de kleding wel schoon en fris rook. Helaas over de 4 nachten geen roomservice gehad. Dus geen schone handdoeken of nieuwe waterflesjes. Terwijl we dat bij een resort wel hadden verwacht.

Schimmel op de badkamerdeur. Onprettige geur in de kamer. Meerdere kakkerlakken op de kamer. Opdringerig personeel.

Mooie tuin

Ze wilden graag helpen met regelen van een safaritour. Ze luisterden niet naar onze wensen, ze zijn zelf het bookings kantoor. De tuktuk die ze voor ons regelde om naar de bushalte te gaan heeft veel te veel gevraagd.

I booked the hotel for my friend and he said it was very noisy and they couldn't the two nights they were there in the next room were people making big noise and they complained but the staff didn't take any action. Breakfast was included for the price but they couldn't eat because it was not good. This place is not for foreigners because a lot of local people come there. I would not recommend this place for forigners

The staff were brilliant especially Tharindu who helped us book our bus to Jaffna.

Would be nice to have bedside table, and somewhere to put bags and personal belongings eg dresser.

il y avais un cafard dans la sdb, après ce n’est pas de leurs faute Nous avons pris l’excursion wilpattu avec l’établissement mais je vous conseille de le prendre vous même personnellement car nous nous sommes fait arnaquer sur le prix

Very good buffet breakfast and close to a lake for a walk. Good air conditioning, friendly Reception Staff.

Linen were dirty and old with stains. After pointing out, the staff changed the linens but we an other old set, but at least they were clean.

Één kleine kamer met terras aan de achterzijde met zicht op blinde muur. Andere kamer is de wc alleen bereikbaar via de douche. Natte voeten.

Laundry was charged by the item, rather than by the kilo which is fairer in our view. Consequently a carrier bag of landry cost R4000 which was 3 or 4 times anywhere else. Still, a small gripe on what was otherwise a very relaxed and enjoyable stay. Thank you

L’accueil et les services du personnel était très agréable. La Chambre de 6 est très spacieuse et fonctionnel avec le toilette séparé de la douche.

La climatisation dans les chambres économiques est payante. La chambre de 6 est au bord de la route, il a donc de la lumière et du passage.

Location was good. The staff were very helpful. They are renovating but our room was far enough that it didn’t bother us.

Breakfast was not our thing.

Helaas hebben we een kamer geboekt die vol zat met kakkerlakken die over het plafond liepen. Dit was al bekend, omdat de gaten in het dak bedekt waren met sokken. Kakkerlaken onlasting lag op de grond en na het aangeven hiervan hebben we een andere kamer gekregen, waarvan de hygiene minder was. Helaas niet het beste verblijf gehad.

De badkamer moet gerenoveerd worden. Schimmels op het plafond. Ik had een delux room maar was de enige die geen mooi terras of balkon had.

Obsluha hotelu byla velice milá, hned po příjezdu jsme dostali ovocnou šťávu. Na recepci nám také pomohli domluvit odvoz na safari a taxi do další destinace. Na safari jsme také dostali snídani sbalenou s sebou.

Velké množství komárů, ale to se dá očekávat poblíž vody. A na ubytování jsme v koupelně narazili na dva šváby, které jsme na předchozích čtyřech místech ještě neviděli.

El lugar es precioso lleno de vegetación. El wifi funcionaba bien. El desayuno muy rico. La atención del personal de diez.

El baño, no está perfectamente limpio y no olía muy bien. Creo q podrían mejorar la limpieza.

Optámos pelo quarto superior com vista de jardim, o qual recomendamos. O quarto é confortável, espaçoso e limpo. O proprietário e o staff foi muito simpático e disponível, incluindo um jovem estagiário que nos serviu o jantar e o pequeno almoço com o máximo profissionalismo e cortesia. Recomendo!

The room was nice and spacious. The one person room we had could actually fit two people

The staff was quite rude and we didn't feel welcomed. The front desk receptionist asked us to cancel our reservation on booking and would give us a discount, but would remove our breakfast. They are scamming booking.Com and also the customer.

Malheureusement nous avons été dans cet hôtel lors des inondations et avons dû quitter précipitamment car l'hôtel était inondé. Le personnel était très serviable et nous a aidé à trouver un chauffeur qui par la suite nous a aidé à trouver des solutions durant les inondations. Nous n'aurions pas pu faire sans ses précieux conseils. Le chauffeur de tuktuk qu'ils nous ont conseillé pour visiter les temples était vraiment super également, on a vraiment pas regretté avoir payé un peu plus que si nous l'avions fais par nous même car ses connaissances sur l'histoire d'Anuradhapura étaient vraiment excellentes et très intéressantes.
