Location is excellent! You can walk to everywhere you need to in town easily. The (double) room was spacious: table+2 chairs and a shelf. The shower was great (pressure + got water). The beds were very comfortable. I like the good quality wooden furnitures everywhere, feels like a true Bed & Breakfast. The lady and man managing the location take great care of those place and are so pleasant. They also serve breakfast in the morning for 150 pesos (best if you let them know the day prior). We were happy to be able to park our car there (it's just a little cramped up as it's in an inside courtyard, but it worked great for 5-6 cars) - closed. Also great internet.

Nothing - it was very charming :) It just gets a bit chilly and there's no heater so prepare accordingly :)

What a wondrous place to stay. Very picturesque, nicely secured behind these beautiful huge doors that open up for ample secured parking inside. The rooms are soo wondrous and comfortable. The owners are so very friendly & accommodating. I didn't speak hardly any Spanish and they didn't hardly speak any English but they took the time to use a translator and we were able to communicate well. There was a mix up with the booking but they were helpful in accommodating me with a great room.

The only thing that I wish would have been different was that they had a curfew of being back to your room by 11pm. Other than that everything was awesome & very comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable place! There is a great inner terrace, too. The hosts are super nice and helpful. The neighbourhood was quiet and close to the center.

The staff were really nice and accommodating.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and caring. they were willing to help and like to talk and hear about my country.

The place is about 10min walk from the busy streets, super safe to walk even at night. The hosts were so lovely and helpful, which made our stay super pleasant. They offered us food, laundry, tours, transport and anything we needed. They were always happy to help us.

The place is beautiful. Great location BUT....

The owners are the problem. I rented a room for 2 to get ready for a fitness competition. They made me pay a second time to allow my coach fellow teammate and makeup artist to come in and help me get ready for a couple of hours even though i told them only I would be spending the night. They always stayed by the door and were there each time we opened it. Creepy AF! They called while we were eating dinner to ask when we would return because we had no key for the gate. I had enough. I paid twice but slept elsewhere. It felt like the begining of a Korean horror film. They did not even bother asking why I had chosen to collect my belongings and leave. They made twice the cost and didnt have to change a single towel or bedsheet.

Incredibly nice owners, going out and beyond to make you feel good. Clean and comfortable rooms (comfy bed). Great location. You can freely use the kitchen as well (we saw other guests doing that. But the cherry on top are Ernesto and Ophelia. The nicest hosts, Ernesto speaks communicative English. When the battery in our car died without hesitation they helped us jump start and saved our day.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. And the garden is pretty next to the quiet room. It's a quiet hotel.

The room is clean but perhaps a bit outdated.

The place is very quiet, bed was comfortable, very clean and the host are very kind. It is not far from the main pedestrian street and the market. You can also buy trips directly at the stay.

The hostel itself was really nice, with big rooms and the on-suite was clean and shower pressure was decent. It's locked all the time, so it felt very secure.

The hostel was very empty and had no atmosphere and you could hear EVERYTHING through the walls. Like even someone eating a bag of chips on the floor below you 😂

super clean room with large, comfy bed and warm shower. Friendly staff. we could store our bags before and after check in and they have good wifi.

planning is not their strong suit. We were told we could check in at 12 (earlier than official check in time, which was a super nice gesture!) but ended up waiting for the room to be cleaned for at least one hour. also the breakfast next morning took really long. it didn’t bother us too much but if you are in a hurry this might be difficult

Posada Sancris exceeded our expectations in every way. It was beautiful, clean, very comfortable , stylish, quiet, homely, and the location was ideal. Ophelia was caring , kind and contientious and ready to meet every need. One of us happened to get very sick during our stay and ended up extending our stay by 5 nights here. The whole experience was bearable and so much easier by the fact we were staying in such a gorgeous place. We highly reccomend it here and are forever grateful for the support and comfort we experienced here ❤️

Best private room I’ve had in Mexico. Clean, quiet, run by a super nice and helpful lady. I will definitely come back. An oasis of peace in a nice town. It was also nice to have a hot shower

Everything perfect. The house is very beautiful and the people so kind. The neighborhood is so peaceful and just a few steps from the center. The room was super clean and has hot water all the times. This is a great choice. San Cristobal is a beautiful village and San Cris a real gem.

The couple who own it are lovely and cannot do enough for you. Great breakfast is offered. We would definitely come back if in the area.

It's a bit out of the main square but if you are OK walking you will be fine.

The owners are incredibly helpful and kind, the room was spotless, bed super comfy with a desk in the room and location a short walk from the main action (but close to good coffee and pastries!). Just make sure you tell the owners if you're going to be back late in the evening as they lock the front door. I loved my stay here, it was very peaceful and great value for money
